  1. also a pity hes hardly kicked a ball in anger in the last 12 months!
  2. I knew some smart ass would point that out!
  3. what is apparent is that Smith and Mcoist knew they were comming well before yesterday. And id wager PLGs actions against ferguson was nothing more than a parting shot from the outward bound manager. I dont think for a minute that the Ferguson issue was the reason for PLGs departure. this all stems back to the time when SDM had to go to the dressing room to talk to the players about their substandard performances and our lowly league position. That was the moment DM decided PLG was for the chop. More to the point, i dont think leguen had ever heard of Gary Webster yet hes up at ibrox getting a medical 12 hours after he leaves. dont think you can sign a player start to finish that quick. We also have bids in for Brown and Thompson and from qwhat i hear Gow as well. decisions were being made behind the scenes long before yesterday but it wasnt PLG who was making them, he was busy packing his suit cases to go back to France. Theres quite a lot we dont know and to be honest i doubt we ever will.
  4. we will never know the truth. But i did read a couple of sundays ago in a national newspaper that PLG was angling for a way out of Ibrox. didny believe it at the time but after all thats happened over the last week im convinced that PLG manufactured his own departure from Ibrox. Even if BF did undermine his manager the actions he took were in my eyes well over the top. PLG pressed the ejector seat button full well knowing he had made a total arse of this job. One thing is for sure, he wont be so bloody cocky the next time he goes job hunting.
  5. depends on the circustances on which they leave craig. If they are the ones wanting to leave we can simply rip up their contracts. If we want them to leave then we have to fork out some sort of compensation.
  6. so why are they laughing then cos still game was pish!
  7. sounds like a bit of fiction mate though i do think PLG knew exactly what the outcome would be when he took his action with Ferguson. I doubt we will ever know what went on behind the scenes but I genuinely believe that PLG was more than happy to leave Ibrox and that Dm was more than happy for him to go. Personally i reckon the ferguson saga was a touch contrived and it was very convenient for plg to return to france.
  8. to single out an individual like ferguson and to singlehandedly blame him for our poor season is complete and utter bollocks. get a bloody life! or alternatively, go back to FF.
  9. well im not doing anything this weekend!
  10. scotsport is pish. dont watch it. Problem solved!
  11. spot on calscot. hes just made a right prick of himself...again!
  12. i knew that leguen wasnt happy about it but its the fact that ferguson paid for the lot out of his own pocket that is the shocker. Stupid move in fergusons position.
  13. I dont see the two of them staying. I certainly dont think Leguen will stay if Ferguson is given a reprieve by Murray.
  14. That there have been a few spats between leguen and ferguson over the last few weeks but the straw that broke the camels back was the trip to Newcastle. Leguen was 100% against the night out and let his feelings be known to all and sundry but fergie not only organised the night out but paid for the lot out of his own pocket! I can see where leguen starts to get pissed off! From what my man tells me its more of a personality clash between the two rather than football issues so dont hold your breath on the outcome suiting both parties.
  15. seems they cancelled the 7.30 show. that will be the show that keeps you right up to date with all the goings on at Ibrox and murray park! The lack of information comming from rangers is a complete joke though and cancelling your own news bulletin because you dont like the news is a severe slap in the face for us fee paying punters. Just lets us know mr murray, if our money isnt good enough......
  16. we were lucky to get 3 points yesterday. The movement was better than saturday but the reason for that was dado prsu. when the big man doesnt play the team doesnt. the central defence was sloppy and their distribution was shocking as ever. Burke and sionko couldnt get past a pensioner in a zimmer frame and up front the finishing was abysmal. As for the penalty prsu was never getting the ball so we can count our blessings there. Feguson is not to blame for our poor performances its down to the fact that our squad is simply not good enough. that folks is down to a manager who had a good six months to assess the situation and made an absolute c*nt of it. leguen is to blame for the mess were in, no one else.

    If...

we have lost 20 points to teams in the bottom 6 this season. that is why we are so behind in the league.
  18. the reason he had to do that was down to the fact that there was no one in the defence capable of making a successful pass over 20 yards. the distribution from the defence on saturday was shocking. by the time we got the ball to the half way line the st mirren team was firmly planted on the edge of their box.
  19. gavin rae if Rangers lose will be the fall guy though. Ive seen enough of him this season to know that he is not capable of filling fergusons boots and fear the worst against motherwell. I am pissed of with ferguson for shouting his mouth off in the papers but im just as pissed off with leguen with his media comments over the captancy. Poor man management on his part, a trait that has become the norm in his time at Ibrox. stupid egos fighting for supremacy in the dressing room but unfortunately they have managed to spill in to the streets for all to see. we really could be fdoing without this shit right now.

    ferguson

From what i read on the official Rangers website Ferguson has been dropped and the captains armband has been passed to Gavin Rae for the motherwell game. At no point does it say that Ferguson has been stripped of the captaincy permenantly. does anyone have any reliable information that he has been stripped of the captaincy permenantly?
  21. funnily enough most of the people i have spoken to are livid with leguen. As for replacing ferguson with Gavin Rae, a real fucking master stroke on the managers part. suppose everyone you spoke to thought that was a good idea as well. Leguen better have some smart ideas up his sleeve over the comming weeks. If we drop anymore points against diddy opposition his head will surely be on a plate.
  22. leguen is an arrogant bastard and has just turned the majority of the Rangers fans against him. He molicoddles his own signings and treats the squad he inherited like a piece of shit. How the hell can he critisise Kris boyd after scoring a double and not utter a word about sebo after he turns in crap after crap performance other than give him time. Just an example of this guys very poor man management and if he thinks hes under pressure now wait till the next home game and see the reception that ferguson gets.
  23. seems to be the topic of the moment

    shebo

id give him away for free!
  25. Paul leguen has made an absolute c*nt of the managers job at Ibrox, there is no doubt about that fact. Under estimating the SPL and over estimating the squad he inherited are contributing factors but his biggest blunder was in the transfer market and the signings he brought in. They have made no impact whatso ever and we now find ourselves in a bigger mess than we were this time last year. Then again when you only get coppers to spend what do you expect? He came with a big pedigree and i doubt anyone at the time of his arrival doubted his ability but mr murrays moonbeam has now dissapeared behind the clouds of dispair. Big question is, where do we go from here? ideally murray needs to get the cheque book and spend at least 10 - 15 million to get our squad back into shape as its a pityful shell of what it used to be. we need two centre backs, a right back, another midfielder and a striker at least if we are to finish second in the SPL this season. On top of that we have to rid ourselves of the deadwood as well. that will be no mean feat when you consider the cost the last time paid off big marv and co. theres a couple of mill in there if you add it it up. The figures being banded about in the media report that leguen will have around 4-5 million max to spend in the transfer window so theres a bit of a cash difference from what ive been writing. But as usual we will be left hanging around over the next month as the transfer window slowly shuts in our faces but this time around our chairman wont be able to get away with empty hollow cryptic promises as he has done in the past. What he has to do is get the check book out and fix the damage done from years gone past when dick advocaat used fifty pound notes for arse paper. we are still paying the price of that era and we allways will as long as we are shopping in the bargain basement for players. 4 to 5 million wont sort us out mr Murray. Its your call!
