  1. Rant seems such a pejorative term, :colbert: was it intentional? Anyway, fair enough, after his performance yesterday Calscot was in dire need of protection and you're the very man to give it to him.:sowsuser:
  2. You know, you get no prizes here for being accurate, only for appearing to be moderate.
  3. Unfortunately, as we've seen for over a decade, the status quo can indeed go on, no matter how painful the consequences. There is only one thing can put an end to this and there's absolutely no imperative for that to happen.
  4. Is it standard procedure to hide your mistakes behind bullshit too? How many posts did you edit yesterday oh Eagle Eye? Norris posted three words in total, none of which were insulting to anyone, but you rushed to pm a warning to him, which you copied to me just to compound your arrogance. Pathetic, just pathetic - and if that's too insulting for you then you can always go in and edit it until you feel more comfortable.
  5. Tell you what, why don't you re-write all posts from now on. That way there will never be any doubt about suitability and it will save all of us the need to mind our spelling. Better still, please delete the posts you don't like instead of presuming to change what people meant to say. Either that Bmck or stick it up your arse and I'll just post on other sites.
  6. Yes, apologies for that ... it's just that while PLG and Advocaat showed us therevare no guarantees, the last thng we need right now is a science experiment.
  7. What's the point of a PR person when the board has nothing to say and even if it did the owner blocks everything anyway?
  8. Let's be honest, we'll be competing at the level of Derek McInnes and Jimmy Calderwood, fretting that Craig Levein would turn us down.
  9. Sadly, that's a good summary of the situation.
  10. Not so much an echo as a mirror image. You'd have thought Walter would have made sure it didn't end the same way twice.
  11. Hard to argue with that. In the end there's only Murray and until he's gone we'll never prosper.
  12. I've long made it a rule not to reply to your posts but I'll make this one exception to say that you don't half spout some dreadful shite and that's about the worst I've seen so far.
  13. It won't do Ian and it won't work either. Only two things will make any difference - Investment and leadership - and no amount of onwards and upwards attitude will bring either of these things. Ten thousand supporters refusing to renew season tickets might just get some attention however.
  14. Old enough to know that any supporter who never saw Rangers before Murray has been severely short changed.
  15. Sky Sports presemter .... "it's celtic against Rangers, it's Scott Brown against El Hadj Diouf" In three hours they be pontificating about how irresponsible these players are, how they can't just focus on the football. Fucking media scum bastards, you couldn't invent his level of two-faced conceit.
  16. We also played some great football in the seventies and for some reason the Souness team 1987 to 1990 seems to have been overlooked although it served up some terrific stuff. But I'd agree with you and I've often said that, in my lifetime at least, no Rangers manager has produced anything to match what Scot Symon built.
  17. It's a long time since I felt so pessimistic going into a game against Celtic. Looking beyond just wanting to win, I just can't see where the basis for any confidence can come from. Looks like the bookies see it the same way. Hoping for what, at the moment, must be considered an upset.
  18. Well every "done by" date so far reported has come and gone with absolute predictability - why would anyone assume the future will be any different? Certainly not on the basis of anything reported in the gutter press.
  19. The PLG episode was tragic in so many ways. But it did finally show how little Murray understood about the needs of this club and just how shallow and worthless his tenure has been. PLG himself is much harder to fathom. He might have represented a direction we need to take but everything we saw about his time at Ramgers was tainted by failure and chaos - I say everything we saw because I still think he was severely hampered behind the scenes and I again thnk the weakness of David Murray may lie at the heart of the PLG debacle.
  20. It's not easy to find the right balance though. We SHOULD be able to criticise what we don't like but I agree with you that some of the aggressively derogatory stuff is over the top and, in the end, pointless.
  21. Can't really see where this non-stop criticism of Lafferty comes from. Players like Davis and the endlessly disappointing Whittaker deserve a whole lot more for some of their displays this season. Davis has shown in the past he CAN do it but has been an idle little twat for most of this season and as often as not contributes diddly. Beyond the bandwagon stuff, Lafferty has actually seldom been the worst Rangers player on the park.
  22. You're a hard bunch of bully boys, leave old Totti alone. Looks like the problem isn't associate with any one page, different members experiencing it on different pages. It is a pain in the areas though if you want to follow a particular topic, even if it was started by Totti!
