  1. Donation made mate and again well done , just hope the powers that be seize this opportunity to engage with us and move the club forward
  2. I believe you deserve a huge amount of praise for this , and for getting the many different groups to get behind this is amazing , very well done mate . Can you also post the paypal account and I will get a donation of as well
  3. I am actually beginning to lose the will to live , anyone know a number for a cryagenic freezing clinic
  4. There will be a statement released tomorrow at 10 am by all the various groups , just good to see everyone working together for once
  5. I know I nearly pissed myself when I heard it as well
  6. What you say make sense short term but considering the financial gains by winning and by having players that hold a value then it makes no sporting sense and as the two are so closely linked I think I am dissappearing up my own arse AHHHHHHHHHHHH
  7. Cheers Mike , the £1 million per year was first reported , stated at an AGM I think 2 years ago , but it has been widely reported and like you I have no idea why LLoyds suddenly want the bulk of the debt repaid now , my only hope is that we are close to a take oever but the new owners dont want to settle in full , I have no reason or info on this just hope .
  8. Very well thought out post and very very pertinent , the biggest fear is ignorance that in someway we are either heading towards football armagheddon or that inactual fact there is no need to panic and that in someway Donald Muir is a very very smart operator and will have everything running smoothly in next to no time . What we do know from bitter bitter experience is that our history under Murray has been chequered by bad business decisions and even worse stewardship by a man who loved the limelight but absolutely hated public derision , so anything that has a sniff of Murray about it always has the hackles going up the back of my neck with worry . Until Muir actually comes out with a statement of intent we will never get to the heart of the problem , but the thought of our already wafer thin squad being cut to 14 players plus a few promising kids , fills me with dread . When you get the editor's of national newspaper getting threatened by LLoyd's lawyers regarding future stories about Donald Muir then suspicion is certainly heightened , oh sorry but Muir isn't an employee of the bank they must just feel very protective of him , how nice of them !!!!
  9. Dont mention the truth HE CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH :flipa:
  10. good as long as your happy the I'M happy keep deflecting and avoiding
  11. Why should anyone answer your questions wen you never answer anyone else's
  12. Mike very noble attempt at summarising our predicament but it asks just as many questions as it attempts to answer ,if he is so good at turning companies around would he not be better staying at MIH , the £1million per year is great so why attack the debt so aggressively reducing the squad to 14 players and make no doubt Smith has been told that this will be his first team squad number maximum with kids from the under 19's to add .This leads to their not being a long term plan if you dont have a sustainable team to go for trophies ,and the biggest question is who made MUIR god
  13. Not just wabash , why even lawell's pet media poodle Peter Maguire , stated last night how lucky we were to have someone of the quality of Donald Muir looking after Rangers interest's , so you see we are all wrong and wabash and Peter Maguire are right , boom boom it's the way they tell em !!
  14. Sorry maineflyer I was talking more about the seasons after next , I agree most will probably renew next year , by which time I agree it will be too late
  15. You know exactly what I mean by " a multitude of sins " a saying meaning a coverall for numerous responsibilities , none of which we currently know , unless you can clarify the situation , or will we just get " he's a company spinblah blah blah " Go on amaze us and actually answer a direct question , what is his specific remit at Rangers , and dont hide behind your usual pish
  16. I am more than prepared to be made a fool of but still have a club at the end of the day than stand by and do nothing , we keep getting told there's no problem here , move along , yet the manager who is working without a contract continually voices his fears but we are to do nothing , nah something smells rotten I know who I will stick with RANGERS FIRST
  17. More deflecting from the point in hand , so predictable and so very very boring
  18. Join Supporters Group Statement News - Assembly News "The Rangers Supporters’ Trust, Rangers Supporters Assembly and Rangers Supporters Association united today in expressing alarm at recent comments made by the club's Manager, Walter Smith: "anybody who thinks it is going to get better in the summer is deluding themselves. My concerns for Rangers for the long term - not even in the long term, for the end of the season - are genuine concerns as being a supporter as much as being a manager." We call on Rangers fans to stand shoulder to shoulder with Walter Smith and we ask all fans to show public support for the Manager and join us on February 14th at Ibrox where fans will express their frustration at the club's current situation. All fans' groups are united in seeking a public announcement from the Club Chairman on the precise remit and intent of both Donald Muir and Lloyds Banking Group, regarding the future of Rangers Football Club. Finally we ask parties who have expressed an interest in buying into Rangers FC to now come forward publicly with an outline of their plans, specifically on how the Rangers support can be involved and help overcome barriers to a successful, sustainable transfer of ownership which will secure the Club's future." Looks like I'm not alone in wanting to know what Muir's remit is ??????
  19. I know that Boss but again that covers a multitude of sins , and when was he made god , for all the info coming out of the club is that every decision re-money has to go through him
  20. That covers a multitude of sins and doesn't explain anything , sorry I actually thought you knew what he was there for my mistake, and if he is that good perhaps he should spend more time worrying about MIH than a company that is solvent , just a thought
  21. If the proposed player sale goes ahead , or rather the down sizing continues , you wont need to worry about it being an option it will be a given
  22. Well why dont you enlighten us as to exactly what is his job , as to my knowledge he has never spoken publicly nor had his job fully explained either to shareholders like me or to the support in general . It may help the situation , also if we are solvent and trading as you state why is he blocking contracts and also why is the future state of the club being so widely talked about or is everyone else wrong and you are the sole light in a sea of darkness . I also hate to admit this but I agree with you about Johnston
  23. After listening to various Radio station last night I am even more confused than ever , from Bitter Maguire stating that Rangers are indeed fortunate to have someone of the quality of Muir looking after their interests ( I nearly crashed the car at that point ) , to Radio Scotland going the entirely opposite way with regards to Muir and our present circumstance can someone please explain why Lloyds are taking this current course of action . I realise we have been making loses and indeed action was needed to avoid further loses , 12 players later and over £5million in fees surely this has been addressed to some extent . £22 million of our current £31 million debt is being repaid at £1million per year over 22 years I accept the interest will be sore but will also reduce every year , the current debt is being forecast at £25 milion after this years C/L money so in effect we have £4 million short term debt . So why are Lloyds wanting to get all the debt repaid this summer as is being reported or at very worst suggested by these supposed dramatic cuts to the squad ..
  24. This is getting as ridiculous as the rumour that the " gerbil " who was shot in the north of the city was the hood blackmailing MacGregor , Glasgow is effin brilliant for rumours
  25. sorry mate dont agree with that remark , but each to his own
