  1. They should be giving that shite away for nothing.
  2. Totally agree. F*cking shocking to lose Weir in a Scotland friendly. He might have got injured at the weekend anyway, but at least it would've been for us & not for a last minute Burley call-up.
  3. I'm praying he plays the youngster Aaron up the left since he's just the ticket to help us hammer those sheep lovers. If WS continues to play McCulloch he's going down in my estimations with each instance. Big Lee shouldn't be in the first team at all imo. To be playing him is purely crap team selection. He's another one of our players that might be a trier, but is ultimately a complete donkey when compared to decent players & like flatfoot, he's probably not much more than an accident waiting to happen in my eyes. Sorry if you're a Big Lee lover or a mate of his, but I call them like I see them.
  4. Have to agree with you 100% on Miller Super_Ally. He's the only signing I'd say was a complete waste of money. Reckon we could've signed a better player from the 3rd division for about 20 grand. There's certainly no shortage of players around that have decent pace & know how to make wasted runs or generally just run around like headless chickens. These are things that anyone could do. Take a stoat down argyle street & grab 20 random geezers. Guaranteed one of them would turn out to be a better goal scorer than KM.
  5. It's amusing at best, but I bet it's even more amusing when you've had 2 or 3 bottles of Buckie like most of his callers.
  6. Ok, I bite. Boyd is a goal scorer & not an all-rounder, so he's always gonna look like a week link or whatever you want to call it when he's not getting the right service & scoring goals. When he IS, he's the hero & a MOM candidate. There's no doubt in my mind that Boyd's goals will help secure the SPL this season.
  7. I'll have all the time in the world for RST as soon as they stop making an arse of themselves & the club in the public arena aka press with their winging, whining & completely trumped up egos. Not that that applies to all of the board or all of the members for that matter, but there's surely ways of polishing ones ego that don't involve embarrassing RFC.
  8. There's too many people that seem to think that buying season tickets & jerseys makes RFC 'their' club literally & gives them rights that they simply don't have. Newsflash - Buying Season tickets & jerseys for your whole family as well as investing your hard-earned savings in some RFC shares still doesn't (& shouldn't imo) give you ANY say in how the club is run. Too many people with big mouths & even bigger egos imo. Just my 0.02 cents.
  9. To say the situation with the double standards is shocking is putting it mildly Frankie. Really don't know how it can possibly be rectified though. You've got the mhedia issue which it would seem is intrinsically linked with the current political situation in Scotland. Add to that the fact that the Catholic church has the means & ability to exercise it's huge influence in both the political & mhedia arenas & all of a sudden it's not so difficult to see what's actually going on. We don't 'necessarily' need to speak of agendas or conspiracies when it's so bloody obvious that Scottish politics and mhedia are being massively influenced by the catholic religion. What on earth are we supposed to do about that???
  10. You're talking about Parkhead here. The views' as good as you get at any stadium built with old washing machines.
  11. Really delighted. This is a quality signing. Looks like a great player. Skill, pace & what looks like fighting spirit. Couldn't ask for more.
  12. Ah, the old papering over the cracks pish. That's something that we seem to constantly hear coming from overpaid sports writers with apparently nothing better to say. Did nobody ever explain to some of these morons that you don't knock down a whole house because of a few cracks in the plaster? FFS, even cracks in a wall or two wouldn't warrant cries for a complete demolition. I'm totally sick of reading such negative BS about our club. It just has to be vibes started by an anti-RFC mentality. Follow on sheep. Follow follow.
  13. Ach, come on. It's the same old pish throughout football. Players play primarily for themselves & secondarily for their clubs. You actually can't blame them either since their career length dictates that they look out for themselves & their lives after football. They might get paid a fortune, but they might have to make that fortune last them 40-50 years after stopping playing unless they fancy going back to being a chippie or plumber at the age of 60. Most of them don't become media pundits or rag columnists. I'm not really sticking up for Cuellar, but it really is the same all over. I remember fancy assed step over boy Ronaldo getting interviewed 2 mins after ManU won the CL final, saying he was gonna stay at the club, then days later he'd changed his tune because he must've had a step over of a brainwave & realised that it was in his own interest to keep his options open. In Cuellar's case I'm just surprised it was Aston Villa, since I thought he could do better for himself. He'll soon regret though. Imagine havin' MON as a boss. LOL
  14. Realistically, I think Carlos was always going to move on, no matter what he said about his love of RFC & no matter how much the club as a whole loved him. The only thing that really bugs me is that despite some half decent performances, I really don't think FlatFoot can ever be as good a defender.
  15. Well, we do live in a wired world. The net chatter is definitely being heard.
  16. You've got a fair point there, but you definitely can't change my mind about these proposed protests. Bad press, Bad for the whole teams' moral, Bad for the fans'/supporters' moral, Bad idea... period (at least in my humble opinion).
  17. Not at all. All I'm saying is that IMO, contributing to making the club a laughing stock by protesting outside Ibrox isn't a particularly smart move & one that I thoroughly oppose. I really am disgusted that our fans will stoop to that level, but they've done it before & no doubt will loyally continue to do so, so I guess a few voices of reason on an internet forum aren't going to smarten them up.
  18. No offence intended Cammy F, but to my mind, a mob of supposed RFC 'loyals' protesting outside Ibrox isn't going to help matters in the slightest. To the contrary, I think it will only worsen them. I also happen to think that such 'protests' are exactly the sort of thing that WILL REALLY make the club a laughing stock, especially on the other side of town. Speaking of which, if you're so desperately worried about the parkhead mod & what their support think of US, I strongly urge you to reconsider growing up & actually cheering on the club rather than booing it.
  19. Yeah, righty-ho. Just because he doesn't fanny around with the ball & what? do step-overs? - that makes him not a great striker? Pull the other one. He's one of the best GOAL scorers we've ever had run out in an RFC shirt, but he's not a great striker? You're havin' a laugh!!!
  20. Maybe you should consider chants in support of the team? Just a thought. Maybe you actually want to spread the sort of vibes that'll dishearten the players & staff at RFC though? Obviously some of you guys think that protesting is going to help matters. Well, I personally think that if you think it's necessary & could even remotely help rather than worsen matters, you've got your head firmly lodged in your rear end. I'm FAR more disgusted with THAT sort of supposed support of the club both now & in the past than I've ever been with SDM or ANY of the managers. I'll be one of the ones giving you turncoat 'we are the club' protesters everything you deserve. Look out for my middle finger with 'try supporting the club rather than whining' written on it in a spiralling fashion. [/THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED AT SECTIONS OF 'support'] bawbags
  21. Totally agree. That's one of the reasons I was so pissed that they signed Miller; I could instantly guess that he would get starts before Boyd, which for me at least, is just F'ing stupid. I don't give a rats arse what 'people' say about Boyd's inability to play the lone striker... he'll still score goals if he gets the service. Likewise, I don't give a flying flock of sheep what 'people' say about Kenny Miller's effort... he'll not score enough goals even he gets the service. Boyd is a great, possibly world class striker. KM isn't even a good striker. Good strikers score goals, great strikers score lots of them & world class strikers score barra loads. I'll be so pissed off if they go with KM alongside Velicka in 4-4-2 starting line-ups because that's a F'ing joke imo. KM shouldn't be the Scotland squad's 1st choice striker because he's pish. If they sell Boyd I'll be breaking a few things in my near vicinity because we can't let a player with the potential to be a top scorer in the premiership go no matter what the offer. I don't care if it's 10 mill - personally I'd still keep him. There's a lot worse players than Boyd transfer for more than that down south every F'ing year.
  22. It's not the only ridiculous thing I'm reading around here. :fish:
  23. Don't understand why Daily is getting a start; for me he's backup at best. As for Adam; I think he's got great potential & deserves a chance to learn & improve, but he needs the fans' backing rather than their abuse, otherwise it's gonna be difficult for him to get his confidence up & shooting boots on (as with many players). I certainly thought he was easily as good as Daily or McCulloch last night & should've been the one taking that long range free kick that McCulloch f*ckin wasted. Couldn't believe it when he was taken off TBH.
  24. Maybe they'll find LIFE ON MARS after all then. Predicted Quote from NASA :- 'It's life, but not as we know it'
