Good window from the club. Moved a few on and made a few good moves for the short term and left possibilities open for longer term. Sands, Soutter and the Polish lad will be good from the summer. Sands may feature now and again this season but we have now real midfield quality. Diallo is a bit short term but then Hagis injury is short term so that was a sensible move, and probably an upgrade for the coming months if we are honest about Hagi's form this year. Ramsey is a very short term move with no real chance of being longer due to his wage. But we had a need, the club filled it. Spent a bit of cash doing so but its worth it if no alternatives were available on permanent deals. I would imagine we tried for some given the timing of the Ramsey transfer. We will sell a few bodies in the summer and have a pot of gold to spend CL or no CL. This is a pragmatic approach from the board and backroom team. Even if we don't win the league this year I don't think many of us can complain we didn't back the manager or the club didn't make moves to improve us. A bit of a lift after Dingwall too. Onwards and upwards

Sands looks like a centre half playing in front of a back 4 to me. Not saying that's a bad thing, it worked out fine fore the likes of rijkaard and desailly while at Milan. But then that system suited it. Kamara looks far more accustomed to playing midfield in terms of what we need from a midfield in the blood and snotters SPFL.

Don't like the idea of us paying a huge fee so Fil Helander has a pal in the treatment room. Same as i don't like us paying 600k for a guy we will have for free from July(Soutter). Also not sure why we have waited to the last minute to arrange this as we could have had him for the last 3 games. 2 of which we dropped points. Edit - would rather chuck that 2 million at goldson for a sign on fee and get a new contract on the table for him...

No tuttosport reporting.. https://www.tuttosport.com/news/calcio/serie-a/juventus/2022/01/31-89381753/juventus_ore_decisive_per_ramsey_ai_rangers Resounding, Ramsey close to farewell to Juve: Rangers appear The Welshman could go on loan to the Glasgow club, he needs the player's last ok TURIN - Aaron Ramsey is one step away from the Glasgow Rangers . A few hours after the market closes, the Welsh midfielder, an expensive Juventus redundant, could find his destination in Scotland in the Glasgow club. The negotiation is in progress and the player's last ok is missing. The formula is that of a loan until the end of the season with Juventus which will help pay part of the salary . The hope of the Juventus club is that Ramsey will finally find some continuity and relaunch himself on a technical level, so as to be able to place him at a definitive level at the end of the season, freeing himself from the last year of engagement.

Not getting enough from the likes of Kent and Kamara. Bit of a freak result yesterday in that we gave away 3 absolute howlers but other than that they wouldn't have had a sniff. The build up to the 3rd was comical. from lunstrams worldie cross field pass straight out the park, to winning it back, to Kamara giving away a 3 yard pass, Tav raging at him for it then goodness only knows what McGregor was on yesterday. Game management lads. FFS. Also Itten again. Did he win a raffle to become a footballer? Have no idea why he started ahead of Sakala. Can understand keeping Roofe in cotton wool but Sakala has looked bright recently. Alarmingly same issues again. Midfield no real shape. No grip on the game. Very isolated lone striker. Diallo looked very bright. Great to have Aribo back.

I dont feel the goal gets the praise it deserves. It was a spectacular finish and not at all easy to do.

Suppose these short term loans are low risk. Potentially high reward, but there is a possibility they don't contribute at all or fleetingly. Not sure if bringing in too many external youths into a blood and guts title race is what we need but I'll trust the club on this. (I include Sands in this btw)

Being linked with 19 years old James McAtee from Man City. Looks like we don't have any cash to spend. Loaning one wonderkid is fine but not sure relying on a few has worked well for us in the past. I still remember Ojo and Ejaria. I think we also loaned another youngster from Liverpool in Gerrard's first year? Either way we need to procced with caution.
