  1. Now I'm a Nazi. Do I see the mask of composure slipping?
  2. Calscot, I canââ?¬â?¢t stop you going round in circles. What I can do, with every confidence, is state that in no way, shape or form have I ever twisted or spun anything that has come out of Walter Smithââ?¬â?¢s mouth for any agenda. My only agenda is the advancement of Rangers Football Club. Part of that happens to be a change of manager, and certainly a change of chairman. You accuse me of ââ?¬Å?deliberate inaccuraciesââ?¬Â, ââ?¬Å?twisting of factsââ?¬Â, ââ?¬Å?taking things out of contextââ?¬Â, ââ?¬Å?scare-mongeringââ?¬Â, ââ?¬Å?false negative predictionsââ?¬Â (?), ââ?¬Å?liesââ?¬Â, ââ?¬Å?propagandaââ?¬Â, ââ?¬Å?spin-doctoringââ?¬Â and ââ?¬Å?nit-pickingââ?¬Â. Take a 5-minute browse of the board and youââ?¬â?¢ll notice a number of posters agreeing with the sorts of things myself and MF are saying. Do these people stand accused of the above also? Perhaps I understand your siege mentality. But what do you expect? Youââ?¬â?¢re defending the indefensible. Your defences of Smith are desperate, I can think of no other word. In fact itââ?¬â?¢s classic Murrayite ââ?¬â?? I sound like Timmy apparently. Yawn. Whatever your agenda and whatever mine, Walter said what he said and his words are out there for any literate person to read. I gave you a clear example of what Walter did wrong last night and you responded with some completely unrelated point about our young players. History wonââ?¬â?¢t need to judge Walter Smith Part II a failure ââ?¬â?? his inadequacies are biting us on the arse here and now. No amount of misplaced Fuhrer-bunker loyalism or Murraymen in the media can escape that. I agree with you on one thing. It is a results based game. Smith should have got the bullet after Kaunas. And he should certainly get the fuck away from Rangers now.
  3. He'd be as much use there than left wing that's for sure. I vividly recall Mark Hateley having some storming games in central defence.
  4. "Sometimes it's hard to play here, sometimes the crowd are hard to please." Do let me know if my copy and paste function is malfunctioning. There ain't nothing to twist about Smith's record these last two and a bit years. He is a failing manager and patently not good enough to be anywhere near Ibrox. As I've already said the only reason he is here because he is a Murray yes man. The only people more dangerous than Smith and Murray are those who accept what they are doing to the club, or indeed defend their presence. I'm taking "kick after kick" at the people who are ruining the club I love before my eyes. You've said yourself you wait until we are double figures behind on points before attacking the manager. Does this mean that, had we lost our next match after the OF game on 27 Dec and Celtic had won theirs, you'd have started attacking Smith - after all, we'd have been 10 points behind? As it is, in the space of two games we have gone from being top of the league and 10 goals ahead of the filth to three points behind and a better goal difference of only 2. Many of us are in agreement that many of the players are either gutless, pish, or both. However the fact is that Walter brought the majority of them to the club. Last night he played a big centre forward target man at outside left and replaced him with a right back who's place in the team has been taken by a centre-back. He switches a 17-year-old central midfielder/forward between wings then takes on the left-footed Naismith at outside right. That is the reality of what Walter Smith is doing to Rangers. I would love you to explain that comment.
  5. But that would be playing players in their correct position!
  6. Walter was appointed for one reason and one reason only - he is a Murray yes man. Had he not been able to get Smith back after Le Guen left, I reckon SDM just might have been up shit creek. Instead he has managed to buy himself two more years of the downward spiral.
  7. Murray will drive him down personally.
  8. I think he understands it perfectly. Rather than state in clear terms that the majority of players weren't fit to wear the shirt last night, Walter instead feeds us another feeble line about how hard we are to please and how it's hard to play at Ibrox, whatever that means. I'm beginning to think it's you that has lost all grip on reality, along with the man you so desperately try to defend.
  9. Not your fault Bougy, it's the gutless wonders around you and the dinosaur in the dugout.
  10. We've just been beaten - for the second time this season - by a bottom of the league side, we're staring down the barrel of 4IAR, we have a chairman who couldn't give a fuck what happens to the club, we continue to downsize beyond belief, we're going to lose most of our best players within the next year whether we win the league or not, and we are staring financial ruin in the face. Do we not have more important things to discuss than whether or not the fans should boo the team?
  11. Christ on a bike I've just read that in 28 SPL games this season we've failed to score in 7 of them. Championship form that ain't. FFS without Mendes our best attacking player's a centre half.
  12. Can't disagree with any of that. Certainly not the first time under Smith we've got our noses in front before immediately relinquishing the lead. That must give the bheasts from the east a huge confidence boost. They go top and stay there for three and a half months. We go top and stay there for three and a half days. The fact is we are a worse team than last season despite Walter being allowed to bring in a number of expensive players in the summer. The only saving grace is that Celtic have also got worse, in fact markedly so.
  13. The fire has gone out.
  14. "We're very disappointed. We didn't play well enough. "I felt we started the game as poorly as we've started any game since I've come back to Rangers and I think that set the tone for the evening. "I didn't think we played that well in the second but at least we showed an intensity that was missing in the first half of the game. "Overall, we can't complain about the result. Our overall play wasn't of the standard that it has been in recent matches. "Give Inverness a bit of credit, they defended very well and we huffed and puffed for the whole evening. "Over the period of the game I can't say we've thrown away three points because we didn't create that many opportunities for the amount of possession of the ball we had." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/7919306.stm
  15. All that pic needs is Phillip for a politically incorrect caption competition.
  16. Not a dig at you, it's a dig at Walter. I honestly believed tonight was a night to score a few goals. I guess I was naive. "Over the period of the game I can't say we've thrown away three points" - our manager's latest classic. You're right Walter, you haven't thrown away three points - you've thrown away a championship.
  17. A defensive 4-4-2. Against them. Jesus wept.
  18. And made them a hell of a lot better. Your point?
  19. Shroomz. The team had the chance to step up their game. They didn't. Then, and only then, were they booed.
  20. He brought on Lafferty and pushed Miller out wide on the left, moving Fleck out to the right. Then he brings Naismith on and plays him right wing. Davis and Fleck have both needed a rest for a couple of weeks as well. How can Walter not have seen that? Why didn't he act upon that? We have a big squad, but he just won't use it. And now he's lining up a contract for Weir to play for us until 40. As johnnyk says there is absolutely no passion in the team any more. Terry Butcher has passion, he's just turned a relegation fodder mob of shite into a team climbing off the bottom in the space of a few weeks.
  21. Unfortunately that is the mindset of too many people at Ibrox today. Apparently we should wait until we're double figures behind in points to have a go at the manager. What has become of us?
