  1. For your sake Steve, I dearly hope there are no grammatical errors in that post
  2. That's a criterion I hear a lot. It's not a bad one, but I tend to go with 'Will we be talking about X in 30 years time?'. Which immediately puts Bergkamp and Ozil in somewhat different lights.

  4. One of the better statements. As always though, the proof is in the pudding and I fully expect the usual 'exuberant' banners in the Broomloan, the usual sectarian singing, and the usual subsequent radio silence.
  5. A comparison of Mesut Ozil and Dennis Bergkamp is a little absurd.
  6. I fully expect 'Know your place Hun scum' to be in the Broomloan on Saturday. Again, it's almost offensive that Police Scotland expect us to take them seriously.
  7. What, like 'Dublin RSC - Behind Enemy Lines'? Police Scotland need to start policing Scotland if they want my respect.
  8. (1) Anyone else think it is now time for Tavernier to be hooked and told to put in some work on the training ground? His delivery in the final third has become a bad joke and I'm convinced it's now costing us points. (2) We're all willing him to make a success of things at Rangers, but Joe Garner really needs to start scoring goals. (3) Not starting with Waghorn tonight was a massive own goal.
  9. People need to calm the f*ck down. If we were to lose tonight and on Saturday, our manager should be Mark Warburton. It amazes me we are even discussing this while not discussing Dave King's purse strings. I think it should be obvious to all what we need in order to challenge Celtic.
  10. Billy Davies, Jesus did well and truly weep. Is he the Scottish Alan Curbishley or something?
  11. He's one of the worst in the Scottish game at present, one of those who commits the cardinal sin as a referee of believing the game is about him rather than the players. The referee at Hamilton a few weeks ago was excellent, Alan Muir I think it was. It will be interesting to see if the SFA afford him the same opportunities as some of the absolute roasters we've had to suffer in recent years.
  12. Garner needs goals to silence the critics. But I have to say, I cannot remember the last time one player scored both goals in a game and another was MOTM - that to me was the situation at Hamilton. If he can get his shooting boots on, and the confidence that comes from that, Garner might just be a pretty big player for us.
  13. Slowly but ever so surely, the feel-good factor is coming back. Three or four years ago we'd have been looking forward to a mouthwatering clash with Elgin or Montrose. And probably drawn.
  14. This will be my first Rangers game since we won the league at Tannadice seven and a half years ago. To say this grown up* father of two is excited would be something of an understatement. *debatable
  15. God Jul och Gott Nytt År från Sverige! Though one does ponder over the quantities of alcohol behind the op
  16. Fine. Then we boycott their tournaments. Just watch how quickly they come to the table then.
  17. The four FAs should just club together and simply refuse to pay. I mean seriously, what are Fifa going to do? They are utterly shameless.
  18. Ha ha, do they want him out? They are beyond parody. Get over it gentleman, you'll never finish second again.
  19. Get your floodlights up to a post 1950s standard and people might listen to you. Boo Hoo.
  20. I think Hodson is a better RB. I mentioned in the match thread that we finally have some strength in depth now, and the manager has some real selection headaches. For example, if Hodson is at RB, I'd still like to hav Tav in the team - but then where does Windass go?
  21. Waltersgotstyle if you're right then you've made my morning that little bit better. I love Joe Garner. Proper fan hero type. When did we last sing a player's name for about half an hour? And that after Waggy bagging a brace Place would have exploded if he'd got a goal tonight.
  22. Agreed. If a wheelchair user is going to the trouble of getting themselves to Ibrox for the game, then it's peanuts for the club to give them free entry, they're barely a fraction of the attendance. I suppose the only issue is how you then decide who gets tickets.
