  1. Let's hope we snap up a few more promising youngsters in the SPL, I suppose it makes sense if we want a quick response in challenging the manky mob for next season's titles with players that already know the SPL. Sure we are expecting great things with our allocated budget and I hope we get them asap.
  2. Mulligan could easily replace JT if he decides to retire at the end of the season, he is mainly a RB /RM. Plus he is only 22 years old so plenty of time to mature.

  4. Álvaro Valles 27, Las Palmas would be a great bargain for us if he doesn’t go to Real Betis. He is on a free after not renewing his contract. Worth £2.5 million potential cheaper. Let’s hope RM is scouting the Spanish leagues also since his style of play is more Spanish based.
  5. Young Raskin without a doubt! Sure he has much to learn but to be given the captaincy last season shows his leadership ability. Yet Tav should be still able to show him the ropes this season prior to him leaving if he decides to do so.
  6. I suppose a strong attribute to Captaincy is when JT gave Dessers the chance to score his 50th league goal against Dundee I believe it was, Not only did this help prioritise the teams moral and that of Dessers it showed the example of leading through support and encouragement of his teammates and fostering a bond in that the captain only wants to see one thing and that is a collective effort by all , I suppose it could be seen as helping Dessers contribute to more goals this seasons, who knows but that’s what I take as being a good Captain material is all about. Sure at Times JT has had to take the flak when the team wasn’t performing and I suppose we sometimes put his performance under the microscope but compared to the other performances he has executed it 8/10. I think his time is coming to an end but we should also thank him for what he has done. As Connor Goldson once said Rangers fans won’t appreciate him until he has gone.
  7. Curiosity who was Captain before Tav, also Was he the longest serving player? as some clubs usually go with the most senior players as there captains rather than leadership.
  8. I have nothing personal against TAV , sure he at times was in control of everything from corners to free kicks and wouldn’t let anyone near them last season. Which at times stopped us from playing fast counter attacks etc, I think the club knows it’s his last season as a Rangers captain/ player and he wants to let his contract run down.He has been an excellent captain and as mentioned got us a lot of goals and far in competitions, plus his wonderful goals against the manky mob , I think this season would be a great opportunity for him to lead the team out and also come off at certain points to our new captain whoever it may be, I’d like Raskin but then again will he be persuaded to stay or have his head turned by a EPL side 🤞 we keep him for a few more seasons and watch him mature into a player he is capable of becoming.

  10. Looks like a younger ish version of Leon Balogun, sure he is 32 but looks solid in defence when at wolves, I don’t know his injury record mind you. another clip I found. https://www.ibroxnews.com/2025/06/07/rangers-ready-long-term-conor-coady-offer-as-transfer-talks-advance/
  11. I wonder who will be putting on a bet we get the league and also for the 49ers to win the Super Bowl, supposedly the last three times San Francisco have won the Super Bowl - Rangers have won the league in Scotland. I’m tempted 🤣odds are 50/1 Article is from the DR. https://apple.news/Ae5odOthzTSSdiJ2bcSRrcQ
  12. Let’s hope for the worst and take it from there. He won’t have any excuses to say he needed time with the players to adopt his style of play as he was brought in pre-season. So we will see straight away small improvements in what his intentions are from the start. Also I’m confident this 49er’s or the 51er’s ( 51% Stake) want things done pretty fast in a manner that wants quick fast results , so if he isn’t performing a change will be made. 🔴⚪️🔵NS
  13. No in all seriousness, I believe he will play more possession based dominant football in which we have been lacking. I think we will be surprised to find his high pressing style of football surprising for some to take in especially with Tav etc at first , yet on the other hand if it worked for him at Southampton in the build up to promotion in which they had a 20 odd game unbeaten run might indeed work in our favour in the SPL. I’ve been looking at his previous games through MK Dons-Swansea and at Southampton and with a little patience and belief from the fans he will get us to a place we have been wanting for such a long time. “We want to Dominate the ball, but there are times when it’s about winning in other ways” shows he is maybe more open to a more creative approach in certain games whilst also adopting his method /style of play . Let’s hope he brings in the right talent and has the backing to make it happen . I’m throwing all my eggs in one basket here and hoping there is a major shift for the future of our club and RM Is the man who gets us there. 🔴⚪️🔵NS
