  1. The guy who wrote that is an idiot as well as a bigot. Clown.
  2. We are going to have to cut our cloth according to our circumstances and trim our expectations but the long journey back starts soon. We will survive this.
  3. 1875 according to the Gallant pioneers blog. i am delighted though I'm pretty certain there is no direct family connection,
  4. Speaking as a Crichton, can someone give me a date on that article?
  5. That may require a wee wake up call to some journalists and their employers, I think that the growth of social media eg Twitter et al will eventually show subjective commentators for what they are. That's tomorrow we need a return to objective journalism today.
  6. Completely disagree, we simply cannot vet reporters into supprters or others. Arguably if we'd had some decent journalists reporting honestly a few years ago, we may not be where we are. We need honest critics, prhaps now more than ever.
  7. I would think that he has agreed a wage far, far lower than that. He will want to be the Captain who led the Rangers comeback and that's a reputation worth having and counts for more than momey.
  8. One result has been a reduction in the meaningless noise generated by Chick Young, his reputation has taken a knock, though sadly, probably not in his own eyes.
  9. No, I don't want them to fold but I have absolutely no objection to seeing them subjected to the same outrageous behaviour that has been our misfortune for the past few months. Good fortune would seem to indicate that one or three of them might incur a well deserved horsing as we meet them in our ascent and their descent. I'm less sure about the involvement of MPs in any inquiry, the "Murphia" are too well established within the Labour party for me, and I would question the level of objectivity underlying any such inquiry.
  10. Interesting that they objected to the "Readmission" of the newco. You can't readmit a new entity, so it's relatively pleasing to see them admit that Rangers are still Rangers.
  11. Anybody care to hazard a guess at Platini's reaction?
  12. Jelavic will be pleased to see him. The sight of both Jelavic and Naismith in Everton colours simply reinforces the impact of the criminal looting of Rangers by CW.
  13. It's hard to believe that this has all been sorted out in the past couple of days, so, is he not in breach of contract while that contract still existed? Similarly Whittaker at Norwich? And no doubt others?
  14. I prefer to think of it as " What go's around, comes around"
  15. " They have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind"
  16. I understand that a class action is a feature of the American legal system. My post was merely to ask what options may be available to us supporters to counter possible demands from the SFA that they are not entitled to demand, as I said just saying.
  17. If the club have to agree to no legal challenges, do the support also have to agree, just saying?
  18. So the SPL buy the Tv rights to Rangers games in SFL, just how much of that will be coming our way? Not a whole lot, I would think. Would it not be simpler if they just picked my pocket?
  19. it may have been illegal but it was 20 years ago. In fact the best April !st spoof I can remember was the Belfast Telegraph suggesting that RTE detector vans would shortly be operating in Belfast.
  20. I've watched EPL games in Belfast, albeit broadcast on RTE, with such a time delay.
  21. We're getting shafted is what it looks like, at the very least being held to ransom.
  22. Does restraint of trade potentially come into this?
  23. My head is getting twisted with all this.
