  1. Yes agree. I tried to argue for integrity which is defined as adherence to a moral code of standards. I don't think he will be dropped but he should be. We'll see.
  2. Thanks for that. I thought they were already members, everyone else seems to be. Presume he has enough international caps etc to make a work permit a formality?
  3. As a Croatian why does he need a work permit to employ his trade inside the EU?
  4. Spot on. Space to fill, no problem reach for the overused list of orc cliches and hey ho problem sorted.
  5. Think Weiss could be a very good signing, still need a few more though.
  6. Don't put too much weight in the comments that he would love to have played for the orcs, journalistic licence I think. Papers to sell, space to fill etc. As for his physical side, we need to play football and don't need 10 outfield "enforcers" just think of Messi. This guy could be a good signing, he is rated by Mancini who wants him to get some CL experience. A positive move in my opinion, if it comes off.:spl:
  7. :)Do you think that there might be a cream or embrocation for this condition?
  8. It's not so many years ago that Rapid were known as Rabid Vienna, seems that not much has changed.
  9. Don't see this as a goer at all, another spoiler from News International, don't forget the same "mob" employs that wee nyaff Speirs (sic). On another recent thread there was talk of what Rangers stood for. I didn't contribute, although I subscribe to the "Wabash" school of thought. Rangers stand for integrity, both on a personal and corporate level. This would be a step back into the Dark Ages, I don't care how much money this guy is supposed to have. The suspicion I have is that we may be looking at a "laundering exercise" please feel free to rip this post apart, but, I hae ma doubts.
  10. Agree with you, hope it doesn't happen. I thought I had seen some sort of report that he'd had a bust up with Mancini and was even talking about giving up football. Mind you, going to celtic amounts to the same thing.
  11. He has been quoted in the Algerian newspaper El Khabar as saying that he wants to stay at Rangers for another year. How many years are left on his contract?
  12. I have set up a daily alert on google for "Glasgow Rangers", I know, I know, it should only be Rangers. Try only Rangers on google and when you surface, some time, in the far future, let me know how it went. Anyway back to this mornings alert. The transfer is dead. Rapid Vienna are not happy that ,we have only bid 4.2 mio Euros, I say again 4.2 mio euros. Think some journo does not understand exchange rates. From what I have been able to read the bid is in excess of 4 mio pds sterling, a tidy bit more than 4.2 mio euros. We will need to wait and see. evidence so far, the title will be tight, we have most of a team, they have none.
  13. Impossible to disagree with you. The list of managers is quite scary, I was first at Ibrox when Mr Symon was the manager.
  14. That wasn't a bad Portugese side we saw tonight, They will cause problems for better teams than that shower in the grey and green.
  15. Samaras playing the lone striker, did Lennon not sign any of the other cavemen in time?
  16. Might be worth taking a chance on, if any signing might meet the club's budget.
  17. He wanted to go and it is very good money for an 18 year old player.
  18. Completely agree. They cannot be a team of diddies and who knows.
  19. Where are Sporting Braga from? Only asking cos I've never heard of them, they hint at being Portugese.
  20. Cannot believe that we should be worried about this sort of signing. The quote " He could take hits for us" can only serve to reinforce their well known desire to play fast flowing, fluent football. Well known desire but equally well known is how rarely they achieve it. Will they play a Scot this season?
  21. Jim1955

    Bougherra

Can only be since he started playing for a wiining side.
  22. Not got a scooby about that one, but, it deserves some thinking about.
  23. Have followed this thread from the start because I hoped it would give some illumination on the murky dealings of a potential sale/takeover of our club. While this is all still up in the air, I cannot disagree with RBR, it will always be Rangers First.
