  1. As for Murdo Macleod, he was a rangers fan as a boy and atended primary and secondary school in Milngavie where he was in the year below my wee brother.
  2. Bring it on please, just bring it on. For too long we have been taking it quietly. I'm not alone in wanting to hit back.
  3. Not sure I can agree with you. It sounds as if he is saying that any penalty cannot be applied as we are not subject to them under either SPL rules or Scottish law.
  4. The CEO will win himself more fans following this statement and deservedly so. Well said Mr Green.
  5. I also consider myself Scots and British but don't think I could support a UK national football side, too much of the Scots maybe but there it is. I have been a regular attender at Scotland games in the past but no longer. As a Rangers fan I no longer feel welcomed by other Scottish supporters in particular the "Och Aye, Jimmy" over dressed caricatures of Scottish Bandsmen. It's a pity but that's how I feel about it.
  6. Is it just me or does anyone else find it strange that a Newspaper Editor is not aware of the contents of the paper that he edits?
  7. Yeah, I think we showed ambition, and given our position more ambition than any other Scots club.
  8. If he signs for us then he will have my support, regardless of his background, leave that stuff to the orcs.
  9. Queens Park 2 Dundee 1. Don't need to say anything more.
  10. It's on twitter from sky sports that Sasa has decided to retire from football. Maybe not to everyone's taste but I rated him. Wish him all the best.
  11. How about a new cup competition, perhaps a "Sporting Integrity Quaich?"
  12. Max, I didn't know this. What did they play in before "ra hoops"?
  13. The rumoured discount voucher in programmes for cup games where we are drawn at home against a SPL side is guaranteed to get right up their noses, especially if he argues his case.
  14. Do you think that will give us a chance to maybe express our disapproval at the ballot box?
  15. So he claims not to be anti Rangers, hmmm. In the words of Mandy Rice Davies during the trial following the Profumo affair, on being told that Lord Astor claimed never to have met her, she famously replied "well he would, wouldn't he?" Thompson's comments are as predictable as they are unreliable.
  16. If we're honest about it, is there a manager of any senior team in Scotland who enjoys the unqualified support of the fans? I don't think there is. Rangers are in completely uncharted waters and it's going to be a journey with some disappointments along the way but to be negative after 3 (unbeaten) competitive games seems to me,to be unduly harsh.
  17. We can see this, why not anyone else? Is Lawell's real name Voldemort? This whole thing stinks to high heaven!
  18. I completely agree, surely we are not completely friendless among the Scottish media and have noone willing to raise cain about the manifest hypocrisy here. Oh and a wee thought are the SPL continuing to trade while technically insolvent? I only ask given the lack of detail on the TV deal.
  19. Is it seen to be fair that this is his second bite at this particular cherry, surely he should have ruled himself out of this matter.
  20. Was his last verdict not found to be illegal under Scots law?
  21. Yes and again Yes. I was asked in work some weeks ago if I didn't feel embarassed by Rangers being in SFL3. My answer was no and that I felt we were in far better company than in the SPL. The guy who asked me is a Hibbee but not a bitter one, he took a moment or two to consider and then conceded that he could not disagree. Let's have fun, let's get behind the Gers, let's make some friends.
  22. I saw enough from Sandaza in the wee spell he had against Peterhead to suggest he will score goals, and lots of them. He can always wash his hair in his spare time.
  23. I can certainly see a Ramsden cup shaped hole in the Blue Room. Let's do it, let's have some fun.
