De Boers.
It's difficult to know what was going on behind the scenes.
Nice balanced examples.
I'm not even sure what this means. Are you struggling for breath?
I hated the ginger twat so much that I once typed out every single signing he ever made and worked out about 90% were shite

Erm, Ronald De Boer was signed by Advocaat but change history if it makes McLeish look better. Frank De Boer came in for a few months towards the end of his career to get fitness for Holland and was hardly a major signing.
As for McLeish being more successful than MON, he maybe won more league cups but who the feck cares about that. MON had the far superior head to head record and has a far higher win ratio for his games in charge in all tournaments.

That's OK, it's fine to be wrong.
AM had a better record than MON and had unimaginable constraints at a time when Celtic were at their financial peak. Working in those contraints he brought in some of the best players we've seen in years and always maintained genuine dignity and put Rangers first.
hahahaha 'some of the best players'.
Jesus give me a break. He brought in the biggest amount of shite we've ever seen.
Mladenovic, Ostenstad, Jeffers, Maniero, Bernard, Capucho, Emerson hohohohohohoh

They have been shit for years in the premiership. Bit of a difference.
Poor example with David Moyes btw, I haven't seen Strachan get a side to 4th-6th several times in the premiership.
If Strachan was not a shit manager he would not be unemployed

Well actually I wasn't wrong. We were talking about the champions league and they have looked strong in that this season.Domestically they have been poor recently.

They're shit full stop because of Strachan.
He's a dreadful manager end of story who has only ever won anything because he managed Celtic when Rangers were at their worst.

3-2 Shaktar now and I said shortly afterwards that they LOOKED good up until recently

Holloway currently manages in the premiership.
Strachan is a useless moron sacked from near the bottom of the championship.
End of story.
Please stop comparing Strachan to MON it's like comparing a bottle of bucky to a £1000 bottle of wine. The fact Strachan came up against utterly shit Rangers sides probably helped his record somewhat

Babbling idiot is a bit harsh, but I've always wondered why he sometimes uses certain bizarre words and phrases instead of just speaking normally. I watched him in a recent interview after a Brum game and he's still using that 'talisman' patter. I was just waiting for him to pull out the 'annals of history' line.
There's nothing remotely classy about him on or off the park

Jordan's a skinny old man, Gattuso is a strong athlete, one known for being very tough. Only one winner...

Holloway is someone I love as a manager. But look at what happened to Strachan. He was the closest thing to him that English football has seen (from my limited experience) in term of comedy. Would The Rangers fan stand for jokes and what not if things were not going well? Enjoy the attacking football if it was absent positive results?
Blackpool suits Holloway and Holloway suits Blackpool. It's a perfect match! Put him in a more "serious" job with a bigger club and bigger expectations and it will damage both!
Holloway has demonstrated managerial ability unlike Strachan

I think AM embodied Rangers class to the highest degree.
Really? I thought he was a babbling idiot
If a club record 7 consequetive losses to Celtic and 10 without a win, not to mention finshing below Hearts n the league is 'Rangers class to the highest degree' then I give up. If he had any class he would have resigned sooner.

They seem to like any Irish ned that can kick a ball

I wish he did do that

I think after enduring McLeish's later years there is no such thing as 'Rangers class'

It seems that the taigs aren't content with opposing British authority in Ireland, it must be done here too. What's annoying is the papers taking them seriously. If this was England they would be laughed at. You would have all the sky sports pundits laughing at them.

I can't really take an article seriously that talks up his managerial ability.
I don't care what Strachan achieved, he was and is a bloody awful manager and Martin O'Neil has ten times the ability.
Personally I think the reason Strachan wasn't accepted there is because they knew he was a shit manager. He reminds me of McLeish a bit. Gets very fortunate then gets found out. Does very bizarre things too and awful at tactics.

Technically yes its better than the EPL, but when an EPL side who are 4th or 5th at the moment and Milan are top and lose at home it does seem to me that it isn't all that. They may have a better standard of depth in teams but that doesn't matter its whats on show in the biggest competition and Milan are representing the league as they ended up in the highest position last season which was 4th, I think.
I don't like the EPL but its clearly better than Serie A currently. Even the Bundesliga is probably better than the Serie A.
I said the general standard. IE the whole league. The premiership is shite outside the top 5, whereas the majority of Serie A sides are pretty decent. Better standard of depth is a much more significant indicator of the strength of a league than how they get on in the champions league. IF Rangers and Celtic regularly got to the final of the champions league it wouldn't change the fact the SPL is a shite league. You base a league's worth on the overall product across the whole league and quite frankly the premiership is becoming increasingly dreadful. It's not even got top sides anymore.

Roma were looking good until a month or 2 ago. They hit form and looked to be rising way up the table plus looked solid in Europe.
Serie A isn't really weak, the Italian clubs generally just don't perform in Europe anymore. IT's a very competitive and enjoyable league. The general standard is higher than England.

Bet he hits double figures showing how shit this league is. Then people might not be quite so inclined to constantly want mediocrity that does quite well at such poor clubs.
In fact he better not do too good or we'll probably resign him...

Poor show,I wouldn't mind going
Who can blame the fans? Who wants to shell out a load of money and time to go watch 10 men behind a ball against mediocre opposition?

A foreign influence is exactly what we need at the club. Everything about us just now is very regressive, basic and dour. We need to become progressive. We need to develop tactical systems, technical play, positive outlook. We are utterly useless at set pieces and play rancid football. Time to embrace change.

If Paul Le Guen continued his Lyon days he would have been perfectly suitable.
We aren't some 'special' club or anything anymore. We simply need a top manager and we haven't had one for a long time.
