  1. I think Ferguson would be much better suited to one of the top teams in England than Adam. Adam can control the whole Blackpool team. If he'd gone to Spurs he'd probably barely have played as Modric and Van Der Vaart are much better and he wouldn't get the same importance and creative freedom
  2. He'll be like Hutton and Fleck - we'll probably see him about 3 times as a sub before the end of the season
  3. Ferguson was rotten in his last season but clearly it had nothing to do with a lack of ability. He has been man of the match 4 times this season. Charlie Adam has now been man of the match 10 times which can't be far off a record.
  4. The Scottish attitude is just so wrong. Even just reading Rangers forums online - people seem more concerned about being out muscled than out performed. Everybody seems to think the solution to beating Celtic is we need to kick them off the park. FFS Beat them by intelligence not power Celtic severely out passed and out classed us last weekend and it makes me cringe when I see all these angry posts declaring we need to 'get stuck in tae em' SIGH
  5. It's not just Scotland, it's the whole of the UK. If anything there's been more good Scottish managers than English in recent times (Ferguson, Moyes, Dalglish etc) It's not just our philosophy and attitude that;s wrong but the big European nations have way more qualified coaches too. No wonder Germany hammered England I would like to see us try another foreign manager on a year or so contract. If it doesn't work fine move on. Other smaller clubs in Europe with little to spend have attracted very good managers before. I can't really handle more of the same under Ally, we clearly need a shake up. Celtic are technically so superior to us now and that is not acceptable.
  6. PLG has since proven to be a poor manager. Foreign countries are far ahead of us in coaching methods and it's the route I'd like to see us go down.
  7. The last 15 + years have been full of expensive lessons we don't learn from. There's a lack of basic logic at this club. If a player doesnt want to play then punt him. I don't see why Webster wouldn't want to play though? If he was prepared to play for Dundee United why would he not be prepared to play for us?
  8. A lot of my weekend rants have probably had something to do with the drink  As for Webster, I'm more inclined to side with the player than the club on this one. We don't know if Webster is a liar, we know our club are full of them though
  9. Man of the match again yesterday
  10. Hopefully McCoist goes to sky and we get a foreign manager with a hint of intelligence and technique
  11. Totti

    enjoy

Weiss goes from looking like a dud that will play in the lower half of the championship to a potential Premiership star. Don't think Man City were wise to put him to us to be honest. He won't learn much.
  12. I couldn't help but laugh when I read the first paragraph, though I had no idea he played midfield today. We badly lack a holding role player so if this works then great. I'm trying to be positive here and not question more possible bizarre will to play people out of position.
  13. It would be some achievement to be below second in a 2 team league. Alex 'Wank Stain' McLeish somehow manged it. Given the players he signed it's not too surprising.
  14. An assist and another great performance today getting a man of the match award. If you didn't laugh you'd cry. It shows what a useless bunch of cunts our management and board are. Charlie Adam will not be a far off shout for player of the year in England. Do we get an award for clueless fuckwits of the century who somehow managed to make a player capable of being one of the best players in the premiership look like an idiot? Oh, and we only got £500k for a player probably worth not far off FORTY times that now
  15. At the end of the day this argument is pointless. Both the old firm go up and down, fluctuating in mediocrity. It has been the case since the end of season 2002/03, the last time both sides were particularly impressive and of a quality that represented both clubs size and stature. League cup final 02/03: Rangers: Klos, Ricksen, Amoruso, Moore, Bonnissel (Ross 64), Caniggia, Arteta (Konterman 78), Ferguson, de Boer (Arveladze 86), Mols, Lovenkrands. Celtic: Douglas, Mjallby (Petrov 88), Balde, Valgaeren, Smith (Sylla 66), Lennon, Lambert, Sutton (Maloney 80), Thompson, Larsson, Hartson. 2002/03 does not seem that long ago
  16. You think Barcelona don't ever play teams that try to out muscle them? Both Spain and Barcelona have proven that technique beats power. Case in point, Spain v Holland, albeit last gasp. Any half decent technical player walks this league. Free flowing or at least half decent attacking football is not hard against such poor opposition. We play in a shite league but make no attempt to play football of any sort
  17. hahaha you are on fire today. What a load of shite.
  18. What dignity and class do we have? Living in the past boyo There's nothing classy about modern Rangers. Horrific on the park and even worse off it. Our future manager said just this past week that he's not actually sure what his contract is at the moment or if he has one. Fuck me, what a mess. What are we? A fucking 5 a side team? Do we have such a thing as a fucking HR department? Can someone please sort this fucking morbid mess out? I have this vision of a typical day at Rangers FC being Martin Bain sitting in a sun lounger and the Rangers players sitting about laughing with Super Ally at Lee McCulloch trying to do 3 keepy ups, with Walter in the background moaning calling them 'cheeky wee basturts' And we currently have the mob from the east end ripping the pish out of us ON AND OFF the park. Though the whole media thing concerns me less greatly than the mismangement happening internally. We have made this far too easy for David Murray. This retched cunt of a man should not have been allowed to kill this great club that I was once proud to support and say I would gladly die for
  19. If Ness is dropped then Walter really is a backward manager. This is such a pointless topic of debate anyway. In our last game Davis played centrally and he was shite. How can he be moved into the centre when he already just played there.
  20. This makes me wonder if given our weather and the unlikelyhood of summer football, would it not be an idea to have drastically reduced fixtures? I could quite easily contend with watching less SPL football. Less fixtures might mean less money, or in turn might make interest higher. If there was fewer games in a season we would be unlikely to see the old firm have such low attendances against the poorer sides. If the other SPL teams ever got anywhere in Europe past the first hurdle we'd hit massive fixture congestion and stranger things have happened.
  21. Should that not say, 'reading comprehension is not one of your strong points'? And for the record I never mentioned gersnet users. It was a general statement from reading various forums.
  22. The SFA have announced pure speshul plans to help Rangers in their European hopes. Due to the fixture backlog Rangers will be playing SPL games on any day ending in a Y. I'll get my coat.
  23. Aye I know but the thing is everyone seemed to hate his guts and now he's a great guy and a legend. Hypocritical.
