  1. Fuk the EPL we have our own league piss poor as it is, we need to be improving our own setup rather than getting involved with that fekin bankrupt cesspit, if sky goes tits up they are fuked....and don't think it couldn't happen...
  2. The trouble with an open mind is that people in high places and especially Rangers high places, fans reps and board alike.....fill those open minds with shite...better to never believe a word they utter through unmoving lips. :box:
  3. That's the great thing about KB, no one misses him or his goals, but they can't seem to live without him .....irony at its very best...
  4. The big difference is that Scotland had players of a stature to feed that hope, now we are little more than journeymen, and in some cases not even that, but still get a jersey.
  5. I remember the euphoria of our departure for Argentina and Ally's magic carpets in 78, I also remember the dissappointment of our performance there, but nothing can take away the country being on fire before we left, punters turning up at Hamdump to see the players off. There is nothing to breed hope like hope itself, as despair breeds despair. Hope and belief are powerful allies, which we often used like Wembley 67, without belief and hope there is nothing, will someone come to the fore and give us that hope and belief ?
  6. Fuk me gently, a Jambo sticking up for us... http://www.realradio-scotland.co.uk/presenters-shows/shows-xcyr/real-football-phonein-qlug/ewens-view/hxudxdht/blog-1141/
  7. You aint wrong there, most of our pro's first touch is a shy.
  8. No just glad that you have given an opinion, it keeps the board active friendly disagreement, I hope I am 100% wrong in my opinion nothing would give me greater pleasure than to be wrong, but this time my head is ruling my heart.
  9. Apparently from a source, and we know all about sources. As I said, you give everything but an opinion,....go on tell us, do you think levein will get us qualification, I don't.
  10. You have given everything but an opinion, wait and see is a cop out. And what the fek sort of comment is this by levein.... The manager said: ââ?¬Å?There are players I can trust. It will be with effort and commitment that we will be able to punch above our weight in international football again.ââ?¬Â Name names, don't tar people with suspicion, who are the ones you can't trust ????????
  11. Set your expectations and goals low, you will have no trouble with success. PS some people are not frightened to voice an opinion, rather than sit on the fence and wait and see.
  12. I though I had heard all of leveins condescending and patronising clap trap, obviously not. "I know a lot of people will want to talk about what we didn't do correctly but that is irrelevant.
  13. Leggo back on form...... http://davidleggat-leggoland.blogspot.com/2010/09/scotlands-shame.html
  14. A statement on behalf of the Scottish FAââ?¬â?¢s acting chief executive, George Peat: ââ?¬Å?I was embarrassed and extremely disappointed by the disgraceful behaviour of some of our supporters during the Liechtenstein national anthem at Hampden Park last night. ââ?¬Å?The Scotland fans have worked hard to earn their reputation throughout the world as fun-loving and respectful followers of football. Last night, those who chose to boo our opponentsââ?¬â?¢ anthem only served to tarnish that reputation. ââ?¬Å?I apologise unreservedly to our visitors for the crass reaction to their anthem, just as I did in private last night to the Liechtenstein delegation. It must not be forgotten that all nations must abide by FIFAââ?¬â?¢s Fair Play policy and last nightââ?¬â?¢s behaviour does nothing to help Scotlandââ?¬â?¢s image.ââ?¬Â
  15. Regards levein, you are allowed to have an opinion, you don't need to wait for hindsight, I think he is one of if not the worst manager it has been my misfortune to come across, that is my opinion I don't need to wait and see for time to tell, if I am wrong I will be wrong, right now I am correct. What exactly are his qualifications for the Scotland job, it certainly isn't success as a manager.
  16. Just had a look at the evening tims non report of the game, as I suspected the gravy train rolls on, it is little wonder many have become disillusioned with our game.
  17. Yes, leveins celebration at the end tells it's own story, if you can't see the wood for the trees ,if you think we are advancing rather than going backwards, who am I to disabuse of that view. I am lucky enough to remember the days when Scotland if not feared, were at least respected even under the same archaic establishment that runs our game to this day....IMHO doing nothing is no longer an option, restructure or be consigned to the fifth tier.
  18. So what exactly do you subscribe to,,,again I am all ears but you aren't saying anything.
  19. Some people seem unable to seperate pesimism from realism, the reality is that we were bossed by a country with a population about on a par with Partick, anyone who can point out any differently, I am all ears, having heard some of leveins other comments this morning, my fears for the future have increased10x. No point in expecting a press which is reliant on the gravy train....to even begin to give an honest appraisal or comment on the managers abundant shortcomings.
  20. Last night was probably one of if not the worst Scotland debacles I have ever witnessed, the result this time is not going to paper over the very wide cracks. Levein is clearly devoid of any managerial ability, as are the people, who gave him the job devoid of any idea of what constitutes even a modicum of success. Therein lies one of if not the major problem in Scottish football and UK football to a great extent, the reward of failure on a regular basis, obviously more so at club level. There is obviously only a certain amount of trophies for a great number of teams, and the usual suspects are the usual winners of these, but that should not prevent other managers from at least making a fist of it or even a pretense of competing, rather than settling for damage limitations. Last night whither we know it or not may have been a watershed in the game up here, it is the ultimate embarrassment to be winning yet still making excuses. One thing that really annoys me is the levein culture of constant whinging, the opposition were harder than us again last night, something the Souness's and Bremners of the days gone by would surely never have accepted, or allowed. Unless the wake up call is heeded, the total restructuring of the game up here, we will indeed end up on a par with the league of Wales.
  21. Passenger, doubt he will justify his fare, a very strange panic buy.
  22. Where do former labour government ministers, also selik board members,...... of the Crown fit into this jigsaw. Can you take the Queens shilling and be a republican.
  23. All I will say is that rome even hijacked the word catholic to ascertain its dogma as all encasing.
  24. The politics of sport are no different from the politics of the real world, both riddled with religious dogma. I won't bore you with detail, sufficient to say that Glasgow has been run into the ground by hordes of liebor tim Provosts and cooncilors, there was an equation done with regard to the odds of not one of the last 10 Lord Provosts of the dear green place (how apt) being of the Protestant faith, which none have been, the odds were 450,000 to 1. Let one into a place of any power and your Protestant heritage is systematically destroyed, football reorganisation would be no different.
