  1. What other multi-million pound industry would totally shut down its governing structure, when the very industry that it is supposed to be regulating and administering the laws of the game to is involved in the continuing business that these amateurs are charged with responsibility for. Scottish football needs one body to run it 365 days of the year, not free loaders and amateurs, who are only in it for themselves. Questions must be asked about the Loovens appeal situation, which was spun out for almost six months, he was not prevented from playing in any games during this period, Rangers must stand up for the player, the supporters and even handedness. by insisting on a full public account of the Miller and Loovens situations.
  2. Referee confirms red card Miller gets two match ban.
  3. As of last night Kris Boyd has no equal in scoring goals in the SPL, what ever anyone says that is the simple fact, he has no equal, he is the best, he has nothing to prove to anyone. Perhaps now his critics and detractors will give us all peace, and leave KB to do what he does best....score goals.
  4. I reckon WS will play one up and settle for a draw. 0-0.
  5. Apparently MIH has more than turned the corner, it appears that SDM has other suitors vying for his business accounts, as was said previously, the bank was never and never will be in a position of strength in this situation. The pupetmaster that is SDM still reigns supreme, you should be used to it by now.
  6. Eduardo da Silva's two-match ban for his tumble against Celtic in their Champions League qualifier was sensationally overturned last night after Uefa botched its own legal case against the Arsenal striker. The governing body's campaign against diving in football was in tatters yesterday as Uefa's legal case collapsed at the hearing in Nyon. The Independent revealed this month that the prosecution case put together by Uefa was shambolic and lacking in detail, and Arsenal's lawyers duly took it apart at the hearing in Switzerland, which was attended by Eduardo in person.
  7. Thanks maineflyer and seasons greetings, I think the majority of our supporters have seen through this fiasco for what it is, more appalling management and spin by the man who still has his strings pulled by Murray, step forward Bain.
  8. Seasons greetings gisabeer, what a very sensible, truthful and lucid post.
  9. From another place: That's the thing is the song banned? Why is it banned? How did UEFA come to the decison to ban this song and no other? We feel theres a batle to be fought and won, I personally reckon it's worth making a stance on. They either treat us all the same or they let us get on it with it. A poster on VB who I have the utmost respect for left the following post a short while back, Nobody at that meeting saw any such letter from UEFA. Martin Bain held up a piece of paper (without showing the written side) claiming it was a letter from UEFA and stated that the song was now banned. The same khunt from admin on FF told me that the letter(?) was not handed around the table and nobody present asked to see the content. 100% fact! ******************************* The plot grows exceedingly thin, like the provenance of the alleged letter, which let's face it is a figment of some peoples imagination. You don't issue an order to ban something done by thousands and then refuse to publish the edict.
  10. Top man glad someone has a got a grasp of the situation.
  11. Unfortunately Bluedell it appears that your appraisal is bang on the money, the question is are we going to accept it.
  12. Not sore enough for the tadgers Pete, why doesn't someone with a bit of gravitas and balls tell these fukers where to get off.
  13. That must be why they arrested all the IRA scummers who incited and created public disorder on Remembrance day, at the Falkirk game. Makes you proud to see our support of the Crown rewarded with the scummers getting a free ride.
  14. You don't mean Murray's lap dogs would quote something of suspect provenance, of course, that is if this mythical invisible unverified unpublished piece of nonsense ever existed.
  15. Now how could UEFA punish Rangers, and what for, let us see how many of the Billy Boys choir are arrested or charged after the tattiedome encounter, I will bet you a coos shite to a gold bar that no one is arrested or charged for singing a traditional Rangers song, where do UEFA, who we are told by everyone except them that it is banned go then, that's right with their tals between their legs.
  16. The UEFA cave in over Eduardo's dive, the constant publicity with regard to TBB, brings a wider question into play.... Exactly what powers do UEFA have that would stand up in a court of law, it is apparent that Arsenal's legal eagles called UEFA's bluff, pity others don't have the same backbone. Even Stevie Wonder could see he dived, but UEFA bottled it. ever wonder why.
  17. Pedantic? it has not been banned, nothing pedantic about that. Now if you can produce this mythical letter apparently seen by the hand wringers, which UEFA allegedly sent to Rangers, allegedly banning this allegedly sectarian song, let someone produce it and publish it. Perhaps it has been banned secretly, so that no one knows about it, except of course the alleged nod and a wink in the know important people.
  18. So , there is no evidence that TBB has been banned or prohibited anywhere on the UEFA website, or in any official UEFA statement, merely deemed unacceptable.
  19. I didn't say you said it was banned, for a very good reason it has not been banned.
  20. You are correct in presuming, but not in fact. Nowhere in the overturning of the original ruling is anything mentioned as being banned, the usual UEFA fudge was put in place "unacceptable" was the favoured expression, as in the original ruling UEFA would be in breach of their own rules Article 6 (1) to attempt to implement any further sanctions, many things in life are seen as unacceptable, but are not banned. I do know that a rather irate legal eagle of Rangers tradition is intending to use some words from "God Save The Queen", as a rebuttal of scurrilous allegations ascribed to TBB. Namely,.. Lord grant that Marshal Wade May by thy mighty aid Victory bring May he sedition hush And like a torrent rush Rebellious Scots to crush God save the Queen. There are also implications to a High court ruling with regard to "feenians" as being all encompassing to people of Irish descent and the famine song. When all is said and done, I often think of the old adage "sticks and stones", some people should really get a thicker skin and others a backbone.
  21. From another place. Social problem In examining the alleged discriminatory chants, the Control & Disciplinary Body admitted that the nature of the song concerned – “Billy Boys” - related to a social problem in Scotland. The body also believed that the disciplinary decision in this case had to be taken in the context of Scotland’s social and historical background. Studied evidence After studying the evidence at hand as well as the statement of Rangers FC, the Control & Disciplinary Body conceded that supporters have been singing the song "Billy Boys" for years during national and international matches without either the Scottish football or governmental authorities being able to intervene. The result is that this song is now somehow tolerated. Social and historical context Given this social and historical context, the Control & Disciplinary Body said it considered that UEFA cannot demand an end to behaviour which has been tolerated for years. In view of the above, the Control & Disciplinary Body ruled that, despite the behaviour of its supporters, Rangers FC had not infringed Article 5 of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations (click here) and cannot be punished according to Article 6
  22. Considering that the SPL is a two horse race and that 10 of the 12 teams are nothing more than makeweights, what do you consider sub SPL, it is considered in England that the Championship is the hardest league to get out of, going up.
  23. I just kept my original home page msn uk, and everything is working fine, can turn the Rangers side bar on and off from the searchbar.
