  1. I think Kelly Clarkson has piled on the weight specially for the moment when she can be the one to sing for the Rangers in the time of our victory ! I've seen her do a few warm up show's on tv in advance of the big event !!
  2. A watershed moment if ever there was one !! It's coming bears, it's coming !!
  3. As many of us have said previously, I still don't think there will be the need for an EGM to take place.
  4. Agreed mate - nothing can be guaranteed from the unknown category. I just feel it would be a huge shock if R&M were not with King & co. And - as you say - things are very different now and I don't believe anyone outwith Easedales/Ashley camp wants to continue with the present board. Change has to happen or the club is gone as we know it.
  5. This wouldn't happen with River & Mercantile. River & Mercantile - if they want to remain invested in Rangers within their portfolio - will see that the only way for progress and an uplift in the club's fortunes is by voting for King. I am utterly convinced that King would have had a gentleman's agreement with them on the voting. If they were againts King, there's no way on earth that they would have handed over shares - thus voting rights - to him in the first place.
  6. yep - that's why I was just slightly surprised why you would be saying Daly and Boyd - yes , that would be absolutely brutal !!
  7. Apologies mate - I mis-read your post. I had thought you had said Daly and Boyd. I should have gone to Specsavers !!!
  8. Two virtually static forwards ?? who's ball control is minimal, to say the least.
  9. R&M's overall exposure to Rangers is absolutely minimal. We will be a tiny fraction within their portfolio and will be a samll dot in something like their UK Smaller Companies Fund.
  10. Boyd and Daly are two of the least mobile forwards plying their trade in the UK. Torture to watch.
  11. This is like having to state that Christmas day fall son 25th December. of course R&M will be voting with King. You don't sell shares to someone and give them a big proportion of your voting rights and then try and vote against them. The R&M votes for King are in the bag and have always been.
  12. The whole 'strikeforce' needs to be replaced for next season. None of them should have a future at Rangers. And I'm now not particulalry convinced by Clark. I agree he hasn't had alot of games or a big run of games from the start. But his performances when he his on the field would need to improve a hell of a lot. As other posters have said, the whole team has been dreadful and the 'football' we have played has been mind numbing. The best actual 'footballer' at the club now is a Newcastle loanee. His touch and delivery is as good as we've had for a number of years. Pity the players around him don't have any football intelligence to work off of this.
  13. sometimes, yes. As you can tell though, I've never been a fan and will be happy when he's finally gone forever.
  14. He'd often score the 3rd or 4th goal in a 3 or 4 goal victory. He was rarely someone we could rely on in a proper big game.
  15. Agreed. Not fit - literally - to wear the jersey. Waste of space and an attitude to boot !!
  16. He was rarely the 'matchwinner' in such games. I have never enjoyed him being in a Rangers jersey.
  17. Yes - he is being honest but he has been garbage. His scoring record was good with us in his first stint but he mainly scored against the diddy teams. In big games he was dire. He us back at Rangers and is in a wee cosy number, does not work on his fitness and generally play has been murder. I really do not enjoy seeing him in our team.
  18. You ate quite right Kris. You do not deserve a new contract and you have been absolutely awful. McCoist is to blame for bringing you back to Rangers when you were finished the first time around.
  19. It won't even get to an EGM imo - and I'm normally a pessimistic bastard ! It's in the bag.
  20. That's what I am thinking. However a breaking story on FF surrounds a company calling shareholders and canvassing votes in favour of the current board. It appears they may be doing this illegaly - in order to postpone the meeting: AGM GUIDE TO MOTIONS AND PROXY VOTING - Any attempt to canvass for proxy votes will render the vote inadmissible.
  21. That's what I'm thinking mate. This is looking more and more likely as a genuine possibility.
