The clever man wouldnt have answered or spoke about Tavernier at all , but now hes said he sees no reason to change the captaincy and that only means hes going nowhere and hes still going to captain the team. Its the same mistake all the other managers made. Only a matter of time till Tavernier sees off another clueless manager.

Russell Martin says he "doesn't see a reason to change" the Rangers captaincy. The head coach, who played with Tavernier at lbrox, has been discussing the right-back's role at Ibrox. Let that sink in lads , just in the door and makes that statement. I gave him to October , it might be sooner.

No goin to get into it over Gerrard , in my eyes and many many more he should have been sacked long before he was allowed to leave , each to their own. This new guy is another disaster of a signing and I dont see us taking the league with this guy. Hopefully I am 100% wrong and he wins the lot.

I fully expect him to be first name on the team sheet every week and an extended contract.

Gerrard should never have been allowed almost 4 years at the club with one single trophy. We cannot afford to not win the league again as the gap will widen far more than it is now , no matter whos been given the job.

We all wanted Gio, Beale, Clement ? I dont know anybody that thought Beale or Clement should have got the job. There was a lot agreeable with Gio , myself included.

Any new manager has got to win the league. Sadly this guy is not going to achieve it IMO.

He spoke well and handled the press well so hes going to be a good manager. So did the last 6 managers and look how that turned out.

Couldnt care less what any manager wears , am more worried about the fact that this guy is a crap manager.
