Saw Beattie got sent off last weekend, great player . I was never for his signing and was proved correct, injury prone etc. If Healy is on £15k-£20k a week I will feel very mad, why bother when somebody young and more capable player could have been used with that wage. I know Beattie would have been on a high wage at Stoke so we would have picked up a fair whack of that.

Was Davie's pay as you play? Same question for Healy? £2k for Jaager? He is wanting £3.5k and we pushed the boat out with Celik. Still peeved at the lack of strikers being looked at bar the Nigerian lad who had 1 day and the Muslimovic who seems a bit up himself.

Wrong McKay played in Korea.... Getting Aussie player of the year as well, when there is better Aussies playing currently. So something has gone wrong and I agree with an earlier post that he hasn't been treated brilliantly, neither has the other 2 but Ally signed them so he has to deal with the consequences. Unless Gordon Smith signed them.... EDIT: Its also abundantly clear that Ally is wanting to play hoof ball which is awful, Davies this big Nigerian, Muslimovic etc. Also didn't he say something about long ball stuff when Fleck came on? That made me cringe.

In the summer it would have been £10m for me but currently £8m and I would say deal. At least we are digging in for once, we never used which is pleasing in some aspects.

I said in another thread about trialist match reports and general trialist opinion from management. Saying he (meaning any player) was impressive and such like but isn't for us as it would bite them in the arse and to me it seems like they are actually doing it.

He was banging them in when I saw the youth reports, shame. Although currently I can't blame him we are filling our squad with midfielders and defenders.

I wouldn't we need strikers we can't have 20 midfielders and have at best 4 strikers when they are all fit. 1 is class when on form, 1 is hit or miss, 1 is not good enough and 1 is inexperienced.

You can't a loan a free transfer . Offer him a contract till the end of the season, then take it from there. It is what most people generally agree on unless they flat out don't want Boyd.

Yeah he struggled in the Scottish Cup so would not be for him. He would get used to it but I don't think he would fully adapt to it.

Jelavic doesn't play up top more out wide apparently in Croatia. Plus he still isn't that old and goalscoring isn't really his game. I'd say he has improved his goalscoring since leaving Austria or his final season there actually.

Balotelli deserved to be banned, however when Parker hit his knee first it took his head away from the stamp.

His age doesn't worry me, so to speak, his goal scoring record doesn't bother me, its his target man status that bothers me because it pushes forward the notion of long ball pish.
