  1. Seems sour, is it cause Novo said no?

Nacho was an impact player but he was a brilliant one at that, shame he couldn't keep up the form of his first season with us, but still love the guy, should never have been released and replaced by an older player.

  2. ... coming to think of it, if someone tries to use these "private" e-amils in court without having had a court order beforehand, wouldn't this evidence be deemed null and void? No matter the public outcry now?

No, there is loopholes if the evidence is obtained beforehand.

  3. Just out of interest, who made these - I would suppose - confidental e-mails available?

Where in these e-mails does it state that D&P et al knew about the way Whyte would use the Ticketus money?

I also wonder who was the whistleblower, surely gaining access to private email is in all tense and purposes illegal. However good or bad the information is being produced and important to the fans or public.

  4. Im gutted to see them win TBH. They are no where near the best team in Europe. Bayern blew it. Dominated the match for 90 mins.....Robben missed pen (although he didnt look like he'd score it).

Dont know whats is worse, Man City winning the league or Chelsea winning the CL.

Both pleasing, dislike Man Utd so much more and usually I would be for the non English team but don't know why seem to want Chelsea to win and by all accounts luck was on their side. Of course Arsenal are my English team per se but I still laugh at bad results so I am not exactly a huge fan

That sums it up perfectly. They had enough chances to win it before it went to penalties and they blew it after initially leading the penalty shoot-out as well. Strangely enough, I didn't think Olic was going to score his pen' and when I saw the look on Schweinsteiger's face as he walked up to the spot with the ball I didn't think he'd score either. Looked like he was absolutely shitting himself.

Robben made Schweinsteiger's problems, if Robben had the balls he would have taken the penalty but he didn't and made Schweinsteiger feel like shit.

  5. There sure is class in that Chelsea team, you saw it in sparks. On the day though, much like they did against Barca, they essentially used our tactics of 2007/2008 and primarily focused on "not to lose" goals and games, instead than going for glory up front. Well drilled, well executed. And rest assured, they wil bemoan this "anti-football" again.

I did think it had the same hallmarks of our final in 2008, especially when Bayern scored.

Anyway even though I am not a fan of Chelsea I am pleased for them. Even if they have Terry in their team.

  6. Freedom of movement is restricted by transfer embargo's which is against EU law. Say a player wanted to goto Man City and Man City only and he can't because they have been banned from signing people, embargo's are unworkable as seen by UEFA's back down even if they are enforcing the Financial Fair Play rules. However Sion argued and argued and got nowhere and got themselves a pretty 36 point deduction for a transfer that happened 3/4 years ago, it would have cost Swiss teams European football.

Also Chelsea got one but because they are in a big league they got off with it, although I don't know the ins and outs of it, also pardon my paranoia :P.

  7. With 54 starts, 14 goals and 19 assists for Birmingham this season, I can't understand why Chris Burke still isn't getting a call up. The guys only 28, so it's not as if he's over the hill and he has a huge amount of experience. Then again, for this squad Levein's called up more defenders than midfielders...

Burke hasn't really made himself available because he uses the international break to visit his family who haven't moved south.

Oh a new Dundee Utd player in the squad .

  8. Training seems to ruin his players we had some injuries when he was manager as well. Villa lost Bent for a while, Petrov was unfortunate, not sure who else was injured.

He still probably would never have won the fans round even if he won something or got them into Europe, fighting a losing battle with that job.

  9. I would like to see Rangers refuse to participate in the Scottish Cup next season, which I believe was one of the options the SFA had to hit us with,I wonder why they didn't?

I would have thought that would have been a more just punishment. However the SFA's greedy minds thought we might miss out on a potential Old Firm match or 2 so they wont do that.

  10. Rangers fear the inability to sign and register senior players for a full year would be debilitating to their on-field prospects, but the panel concluded that they had sufficient resources already at their disposal to remain viable.

"The appellate tribunal recognises that the disciplinary tribunal decision does not affect Rangers' ability to extend the contracts of existing professional players, including those whose contracts will expire at the end of this season and including also those currently on loan to other clubs," the statement continued.

"The appellate tribunal observes that Rangers FC have over 40 professional players in this category."

Is that before the fire sale starts with our players???

    Fuck the sfa!!!

Heh and how many of them are over 18, not enough and as you say there will be a fair number of players going.
