LOL and where are these figures coming from? I haven't been part of any 'are you renewing your season ticket' surveys or even heard of any. Has anyone taking part in one? Guesswork at best but more importantly it is simple scare-mongering from the RSA. Are they trying to put pressure on the board to get this whole mess over and done with?

You only have to go over and have a look on RM to see what the problem is. 15 page thread on the matter and 99% of the posters are still coming up with the excuses as to why they get sung. Obviously I am also wary of why it is just us that are getting singled out but it looks like UEFA are wanting to start somewhere(they can't start on the other lot as they have barely been in Europe the past few seasons) and it looks like it is going to be us.

Don't know what to think seeing as it's the Record afterall but I thought I'd post it anyway. Do you think it will have the same impact on Scottish football that Murrays did all those years ago? The reason I ask as at 20 years of age I only know one thing, a David Murray Rangers. By the time I realised what football was and started to learn about the Rangers, Murray had already been at the club for a good number of years and we were well on our way to 9IAR. To be honest I missed just about everything that was good under Murray's ownership. By the time I was getting right into The Rangers it was the end of the Advocaat era and we were starting to downsize. I'm just hoping that if Whyte signs on the dotted line he could at least bring half of the memories people got in the 90s. Obviously times are different nowadays and we aren't that big European club that we once were(ability wise) so even domestic success would do but with talks of 25m over 5 seasons it doesn't really fill me with confidence. Obviously anything is better that what we have currently and by the looks of things we aren't exactly in demand and it looks like alot people are getting carried away in my view. Unless there are extra funds allocated for the 1st season I can see a big chunk of that 25m away just rebuilding the team unless a McGregor or a Bougherra are sold. Then you have the stadium that obviously needs work but it isn't urgent. There are all these numbers and I just don't see where they are all coming from. Obviously if he does keep to the 25m that he first originally proposed way back we will at least have some money to spend without having to offload players. The reason I asked at the start whether he could make the same impact is because I quite can't honestly see it. I'm not getting on Craig Whytes back already as it's not exactley his fault and both situations are different. The Rangers' Murray took over were on their way up having been rejuvenated under Holmes and Souness meanwhile The Rangers Whyte looks to be taken over are on their last legs having been knocked to the floor a couple of times and got back up just. All in all I think I'm just getting nervous and excited over the news and with it taking so long I have doubts. If Whyte signs on the dotted line I'd be delighted to finally see The Rangers get out of this dark spell. Whether he is the man to take us forward..I guess I will just have to wait and see.

The fact I was banned on RM for absolutely nothing with still no explanation means that I have no time for it. I was in the first batch of people that registered on RM in it's infancy when it was on it's old board. I'm sure Danny was around then too as I can always remember him being a mod with his AC Milan avatar. Anyway the fact it was a brand new admin(who is no longer an admin on the site) that banned me because I can only assume he didn't like me because as I said I got no explanation pissed me off. Then for them to claim a few months later down on the line that I had hacked into a mods account, facebook etc..with his mother PM'ing me threatning me was a joke. There isn't exactley going to be joint ventures with the boards if stuff like that happens to me and others I know of. I only have experience of this site and RM and have only ever had problems on RM.

I now see why they are hoping Big Lee will be back!! Smith might actually try Whittaker there after his showing at the weekend. He could have easily stuck Papac in the centre with Whittaker at left back so it could be a possibility. If Boogie is out and we have the likes of Papac at CB I just hope Smith will set the team out to attack rather than sit back and try to cover for his loss as it ends up causing more problems.

I sort of agree with Danny tbh. 99% of the time I have seen him play I have been unimpressed. Just don't really see what everyone else is seeing in him, the way he was talked up by everyone I wasn't expecting a young Rooney but I was expecting even a little bit of quality and I am still yet to see it. It goes back to the arguement of youth though in that if he is the best prospect coming through atm then I don't understand how people can complain about youth getting a chance. Anyway that is really for another thread, another time. Hope you get fit soon and prove me and the doubters wrong Flecky.

It's probably Toure that keeps buying them! I honestly think if I was a footballer and had the money I'd give these guys a week or 2 of my wages if it meant they didn't have to sell their medals. OR I'd just buy them all Imagine how much a collection of 6 or 7 winners medals from a world cup would be worth... :spl:
