  1. But who will remove him if he wont walk? That is the question no one can answer.

How bad do things need to get?

The club can't afford to sack him - he'll have to walk and he's not going to.

Ally's fucking horrendous performance is only matched and exceeded by the despicable performance of those on the Board.

Hunter sums it up for me Rab. We've no money to sack him unless Ashley increases his loan which we also can't afford. We're fucked from top to bottom.

In all honesty any true Rangers would resign with dignity and no demands.

  2. remember too that when Whyte got Rangers LBG very kindly withdrew the overdraft facility. Didnt exactly do much to help did they?

Lloyds wanted out and all ties with us cut. How much Muir was pushed from the inside to get a deal done is something we will never know for sure.

  3. I believe the SFA did know Whyte wasn't paying over PAYE/NI to HMRC. JT and/or KJ told them.

There was a podcast of both Trayner and Jackson discussing the fact they informed the SFA of Whyte's non payment of tax. Podcast mysteriously disappeared.

Whyte told Regan as much during a dinner in December. Very soon after Liewell demanded we pay the tickets for the late December game at the piggery up front. Regan and Liewell knew what was coming. In all probability so did Doncaster.

  4. unsecured creditors merely get whats left after the secured ones are paid in full.

they can get anything from all to nothing it varies.

i am less clear how king is a creditor though but bdo report appeared to show him and all shareholders as creditors somehow. it's possible that's because it is a liquidation not a administration.

I was once told that King's money built Murray Park and he views the training ground as his. Not sure how true that is though.

  5. The minutes in themselves wouldn't prove anything (and probably would not record anything damning anyway). It could only be used once a link between Muir and Whyte was clearly established.

PS took me a while to understand what the OP was meaning. Had to reread it several times to get the timeline right and realise what Ticketus cash and what Jelavic transfer was being referred to :D

In helping to prove any link could the board members in attendance be called as witnesses? From the OP the timeline suggests Muir and possibly that board meeting was the catalyst for Whyte's way in.

  6. You'd almost think he was trying to deflect attention from the arrests and the news that Green's takeover is being investigated - surely not?

If it is deflection then they're not very good at hiding.

None of it adds up mate. They had a free get out jail card with all the arrests but preferred to bring the heat on themselves.

  7. The result of years of inefficiency.

Dare say this is a long time coming and apportioning blame on fans is silly when Ashley has monoply on advertising. Marketing in Rangers is almost superfluous.

  8. That's what I was thinking. What exactly was the purpose of Somers statement at this time?

Did the arrests somehow up the ante in some way causing the incumbents to seek to hasten their exit and now they are attempting to smoke Kings consortium out to get a deal done?

Was it an attempted charm offensive to entice fans into MA's corner? in which case they should have used someone with charm to deliver the message.

Do they simply think they can simply discredit King and fans will return to Ibrox in droves?

Or is this just a load of macho bollocks between the MA gang and the King gang? A sort of don't mess with the messer cause the messer's gonna mess with you scenario.

Like most my head is melted with all this crap...

Most likely explanation. Maybe throw in the board actually enjoy being the villains and sought to re-route the bad press their way.
