Agree with that. Although, would Prso not be CL quality? Our demise in terms of footballing standard is hard to take and it doesn't look to be changing any time soon. A mix of Murray's negligent fiscal policy, other clubs voting against the OF for TV rights and showing a complete lack of ambition to move forward has seen us have to big up players performances when in the past we would not have accepted it. The EPL's over inflated wage bill has also made it harder. Decent players in England are paid twice as much as we pay or more. Ten years ago the decent EPL player would rather have come up to Ibrox and win medals, play in Europe and have an overall better CV. Money talks now and we're not in the position to effectively compete on that aspect any more. Perhaps, and I'll say this with optimism and not logic, Mr Whyte might take us on a new direction. Can you imagine what our predicament might have been if Walter retired or stayed with Scotland? *shivers*
