Mario Kempes was superb when we played Valencia In 1979.

Best decision today was taking Tavernier off set pieces and putting Toral on them.
we pressed a lot more and were quicker putting the ball forward.
over all well played Rangers.

Great moral boosting result.
They were there for the taking today. but we couldn't do the basics well. Waghorn should have had us in the lead.
Tavanier can't take a free kick and his delivery is awful.
But well dug in and well done the Bears:rfc:

I've just realised that Pedro Caixinha is younger than me. He will be the first Rangers manager I'm older than and this has depressed me no end on a Friday afternoon. Indeed I'm not sure it should be allowed.
Ditto. half century loyal.

"A bit reckless, but he is a 'Ger; thus it was astonishing that he did not receive a red card, and a charge from the Procurator Fiscal"
PF's not out of the game yet, Ulliam.
You said this? or I missed something?

I've stated that I think Kiernan is a liability with very little ability.
It doesn't mean that I am wrong in saying that a player diving into a tackle like he did the other night deserves to get sent off LG.
It was a sending off every time.
That's got hew haw to do with it.

Not imo It wasn't. The point I'm trying to make is if any another favourite player had made the tackle the clamour to exonerate him would have been loud and clear.
It was not a sending off tackle.

Ps motm was MacKay, another excellent performance.
I couldn't believe the difference in set pieces today.
Are we actually praticising them?

back from game via pub:drink:. Poor first half and great second half. We really do need a poacher to score goals, whether that is Garner I don't know. but all three goals were poachers goals, certainly what we need.

It seems there's Judge Jury and black cap on this thread all due to the fact that they don't like Kiernan.
I personally did not think it was a sending off, but what do I know.

Are we due compensation from Forest or has he officially resigned?

This is not really Rangers news but could be Rangers related in the future. First of all I will say that in Holland they are already using goai-line technology. I just watched Feynoord v PSV. It is about 80+\- minutes with the score locked at 1-1. A cross comes over in the PSV area and is headed goal wards by a Feynoord player. The keeper lying on the line saves the ball and pulls it safely to his chest. Nobody in the stadium thinks anything about it but all of a sudden the referee blows his whistle and points to the centre line and a goal is given. The referee points to his wrist where his goal warning alarm is placed saying the ball was over the line. Watching on TV it is not even visible but seemingly when the keeper pulled the ball into his chest he pulled it about 1mm over the line tripping the goal decision system. It really was a bazaar moment. Definitely something keepers will have to get used to in the future.
I was watching the game and it didn't look over the line to me. but who am I to argue with technology?

Derek Johnstone or Colin Stein would be in before Hately imo.

Well done to all involved. The bench is looking fantastic.

Highlight of the day, was the under 10 boy at half time. His joy at scoring a goal and his celebrations were great.

It was freezing today.
I'm convinced Senderos has a square head. Again too many individual mistakes that could have cost us on another day.
Still a win is a win.

Plus not only was he taking training , he was taking press conferences and doing stunts for Rangers TV , it doesn't add up , I smell shite
Are you suggesting Warburton didn't resign as Warburton has suggested?

I'd just like to make the point that Celtic, albeit from a different starting point, showed the necessary foresight, ambition and financial commitment to secure Rogers services, so I see no reason why we shouldn't be looking at the likes of Frank de Boer.
Financial commitment will be the stumbling block both in transfer budget and salary.

It's all bullshit mate , the board have been briefing the press for months , I had a long conversation with my mate this morning , he confirmed there's been a steady leak from the boardroom since pre Xmas , we are getter no treated like mugs .
How does your mate know?

I was therefore not surprised when the management team’s agent approached the Club’s Managing Director Stewart Robertson to request a meeting which was held in Glasgow on Monday this week. The outcome of this meeting was that the agent subsequently offered that Mark, David and Frank would resign with immediate effect without compensation as long as the Club, in turn, agreed to waive compensation from any new Club that they signed for. After discussion the Board accepted this offer and employment was immediately terminated.
So why was Warburton holding the Press Conference on Friday, if his employment was terminated on Monday?
Give him enough rope to hang himself? He seemed to be lying imo.

Agree with you there, its hard to do some times but the fans should be roaring us unto a winner. It comes down to putting the welfare of the club first before your own opinion for me.
Watched it online today and sat there thinking we are never going to score but if i was at the ground i would have been shouting us on in full belief that with the crowd behind us we could get the three points.
I always try to cheer them on. Will be there next week.
We need to win.
anyway I'm away to listen to some heavy metal.

yeah thats probably part of it with me too, think i see online as more for debating to form a reasoned opinion while the stands should be for helping the team win.
when we scored today it should have rallied the support and in turn it would have rallied the team.
It didn't. Partly both were at fault.
At times the team slowed things down to play things easy and backwards instead of getting the fans to drive us forward,
