  1. I understand this is fresh investment not a loan conversion.
  2. That's always been the plan and I'm pretty sure that will happen once we reach the part in our recovery where we no longer need multiple investment over the course of the year. While Rangers can't promote the selling of their own shares, King certainly can, he can invite tenders from existing shareholders large and small to purchase his shares @20p he is not limited to Club 1872 he could if he wished sell you 10k of shares.
  3. That's correct it's simply not legally possible for the club to do that.
  4. Very pertinent set of questions there that deserve a wider audience than it will receive here, sadly.
  5. It's a Community Interest Company not an Investment Trust.
  6. Agree with your sentiment but I imagine given Club 1872 are a CIC I'm pretty sure they would get a waiver of Rule 9 pretty easily. Decent enough podcast but probably raises more questions than it answers, appears contradictory in parts. Part I find incredible is the notion that entering a private deal costing over £13m that they don't and may never have which could increase their holding by over 400% is not worthy of being put to the members of a purportedly membership led organisation as it's "not a key decision", wow.
  7. I don't think anyone doubts the debt of gratitude we owe Dave King, I dread to think where we'd be today without him and the Three Bears and I say that unequivocally. However that doesn't mean we can't doubt the timing and method of what's currently being proposed or rather imposed if you wish.
  8. If Club 1872 is a truly a members organisation then surely it would ask the members how they want their donations spent? They should ask the following question to members. How would you like your donations to be invested in Rangers shares A - all my donation/s used to purchase shares directly from Dave King's holding. B - all my donation/s used to purchase new shares directly from Rangers. C - 50% of my donation/s used to buy shares directly from Dave King and 50% of my donation/s used to purchase shares directly from Rangers. It's a relatively easy option to set up and maintain which gives members a true choice.
  9. Good to see you've escaped Mossads clutches once again The thread on FF reminds me of the shit we faced back in the days of Whyte and then Green. People finding the truth so unpalatable that they think shooting the messenger will change the facts. The thought of doing their own research on the veracity of the OP's claims never enters their closed minds. The OP of that thread on FF is absolutely impeccably sourced and his strike rate on such matters is 100%, his posting history like everyone else's is available for anyone to check if they can be arsed to put down their pitchforks for 5 minutes.
  10. For those yearning for a sustainable model going forward this proposal takes us futher from that goal not closer.
  11. If you think this is going to happen (barring a billionaire sugary daddy appearing) then I've got some bridges to sell you.
  12. I concur, Jack started his career at right back for Aberdeen and would be a competent shove in.
  13. I remember someone on here trying to chase John Bennett away from investing in Rangers then posting smugly about it. The mind boggles.
  14. Corner odds were garbage today so stuck a tenner on Kent to score from outside the box at 18/1 which complemented my fiver on 4-0 Arfield anytime at 33/1 so good day all round for a change ?
  15. David Grier wasn't "the enemy within" that particular sobriquet belonged to Donald Muir. I was present at the High Court in Aberdeen when it was first revealed that the Fiscal had ordered the raids on the defendants solicitors offices and removed all the defence files. I initially thought I misheard but it soon it became clear I hadn't. There was never ever any possibility of a successful prosecution after that revelation, the Keystone Cops could not have mounted a more inept investigation and prosecution.
