Not convinced we did enough.
We appear to have a perennial inability to kill off games.

If only the players hurt as much as the fans.

This is painful.

Why doesn’t King just sell his shares to whoever will buy them?
Simply because he cannot find whoever whoever is.
If I was whoever I'd buy shares direct from the Club and strengthen the balance sheet as opposed to Kings bank account, I don't think I have copyright on that line of thinking.

Is there a hint that Douglas Park stepping down was a condition of KIng's support?
King's support wasn't needed, he played his hand in concert with Club1872 and fell short.
King wants his money back Park doesn't which do think the Board favour?

No they didn't sell to anyone but the constant dilution has weakened them.
The rest of their proxies are the likes of Blue Pitch Holdings etc, these are the shares that were prevented from voting, can't remember if the order actually covered the Easdales own holdings (I think not but stand to be vorrected).
The guy who was rumoured to be behind BPH ????? Abela was at the centre of a £300m fraud, just wonder if the lifting of the order is an attempt by an admistrator or liquidator to recover any funds.

Don’t know who Alan Nixon is. Did not know Easdales share were blocked or that they had 20 million.
I see he is a Jags fan and has written for the sun!

A court ruling has declared that a Rangers share block against the Easdale brothers is to be removed.
And that will mean that the Greenock brothers will have approximately 20 million shares returned to them.
The Easdale brothers are considering partnering with former Rangers chairman and shareholder Dave King and fans groups to become a significant control group within the club.
Talks between the Easdales and King have taken place. There is also a plan to bring in American investment to bid for control at Ibrox.
The Easdales and King have clashed in the past but now seem aligned and have a common aim of removing the current board.IIRC the 20m shares they held proxy over at the time included Ashley's holding which has long been sold.
We could well do without such irritants getting their egos fluffed.

Having waited so long and put up with so much, I hope this will be everything our disabled supporters need and want
It's actually a lot better than what I expected we'd get. Due credit must be given to the Board for the way they eventually approached this issue, they basically ripped up everything that had previously been done and started afresh. The stumbling block over the years was always the reduction of capacity and ongoing associated loss of revenue not only have they mitigated this the have increased the capacity and ergo associated income.
Cantilevers had been looked at before and the assumption always was they weren't practical on the Broomloan and Copland as they are a different design and construction to the Govan but obviously that has changed as time has moved on and construction techniques advanced.

Given the massive cost overrun completing NEH, does this in any way affect our FFP position? Or is it the annual amortisation charges, rather than the capital cost that is relevant ... or neither?
I wouldn't lose any sleep re FFP. Not saying to ignore it because after all it exists but I doubt our investors/major sharehoders will fret too much about it.
Tims might excite themselves and start writing French adverts in the Gruniard again though!

Interesting that he's going to be CEO not MD to me that indicates a greater change than a mere straight swap.
Not a popular opinion but Bisgrove has been extremely effective in his current role and if all other departments were performing as well as his has we'd have little to moan at.

But the current board won't sell shares to Club1872 so I can't see what other option they have.
The club diluted every shareholders shares with the latest issue, so Club1872 have purchased more (we can only assume it was from DK) - I really can't see what people are getting so worked up about.
For a group who are a "tiny irrelevance", people have a lot to say about them, especially those who aren't members.
For the record I am no longer a member of Club1872 but have no issue with them purchasing shares (as that is what they were set up to do).
That is simply untrue

New 'gers fan based out of Atlanta, Ga. It's a long story of how I became a fan this year but I am in with a couple of my mates, we did boo Giorgos Giakoumakis when he made his first start for ATLUTD.
We are planning on flying to Glasgow next year to catch a game and none of us have been before. Coming from the States its pretty easy to pick up a ticket day of game, how does it work for Ranger? Is the only place to get the tickets through the official resale site?
Ideally we want to come for old firm, but understand that those tickets are impossible, but are they? What other opponent would people recommend just so we don't come all the way there for a half empty stadium and a 5-0 win. We are very flexible on the timing if we plan it far enough out.
Either way, I wish my first season as a rangers fan had better results but I'm glad to be part of the community.
Put in a request via the ticket thread on here or via PM. With sufficient notice 3 together shouldn't be an issue for practically any Ibrox game. Old Firm naturally harder than most but not impossible.

Who apart from Dave King would have 1,250,000 shares to sell to Club1872?
Easdales among others.
I'm certain if they wanted to hand Rangers £250k in exchange for shares it would have been accepted.
