  1. As far as I'm aware they won't be changing the angle of the seating, personally I'd rebuild the Copland Front (and Govan East Corner) terracing changing the angle and putting in proper 2 step terracing so safe standing could be installed with a 1.5 - 1.8 ratio, installing safe standing at a ratio of 1 - 1 is pointless as you actually end up with a slightly lower capacity. The Argyle House Hospitality willl absolutely be changed from the current set up to a more modern style, the glass boxes will be gone.
  2. The 6000 figure comes from more than just lowering the pitch, there are a few scenarios where they can add a dozen here a couple of dozen there etc. Construction work can be done during the season without affecting current capacity.
  3. A Scottish football club applies common sense, it'll never catch on!
  4. The guy in the middle I assume. He's actually and I'm using the word in the loosest possible sense my ahem "carer" He's still not been home yet!
  5. It's actually elevated a yard above the ground far better view than at ground level, only drawback is getting the shit knocked out of you by idiots rushing forward thinking they have a divine right to knock you about and climb over the top of you.
  6. So Mossad finally released you? Welcome back!
  7. I'd always assumed that clubs could only "release" a proportion of season ticket monies after each game had been played and this was the reason for the high debtors amounts in football club accounts, is that not actually the case? I've seen claims in various places that this was all one off stuff and wouldn't be repeated so it shouldn't be appearing in subsequent years. I digress as in my humble opinion this is only the beginning of the work that needs to be done and the vast majority of the costs incurred so far have been the minimum necessary repairs with little being actual bona fide improvements. I expect that it may well be less this coming year with monies earmarked for "improvements" being diverted into the footballing side, however I expect it to increase substantially especially if the mooted capacity increase, Edmiston House refurbishment/rebuild etc materialise. Your thoughts on that point?
  8. The concourses will be completely and totally revamped as part of the 2022 works a side effect of the concourse work is that it increases the options for the inclusion of wheelchair spaces among other things. Though I'm not entirely convinced that some of the options I've seen are either viable financially or feasible I'm sure the majority of fans will welcome the overall improvements.
  9. The main driver is to get people onto the footprint earlier, staying longer and more importantly spending more ergo eventually having more cash to invest in the team. We don't really have any option but to improve the facilities all round as where we once led we now linger miles behind due to decades of fiscal ineptitude.
  10. Wonder which inhabitant of the PQ Gang Hut lost the battle to put the round of post match drinks in the Bern Novotel on their expenses claim, "...mine is maxed out!" one was heard to proclaim, "Rob's being Rob" another uttered in reference to Rob Mclean. If any PQ accountant is looking in things were much cheaper in the other side of the building in the Ibis and Ibis Budget, but hey it's only us licence fee payers money eh?
  11. Twas a good afternoon out, decent football too. P.S. at least 2 more GersNetters in that pic!
  12. Having sat on the same Rangers Fans Board I arrived at the opposite conclusion.
