  1. Menzies Corporate Restructuring (MCR). Was it a stroke of luck or misfortune that they employed David Grier who just happened to sign the floating charge over RFC plc's assets on behalf of the then Bank of Scotland?
  2. Green was the frontman for Whyte, as Green said to Whyte " You are Sevco." Hence the switch from Sevco 5088 to Sevco Scotland when Green f*&ked over Whyte.
  3. When I was on the Fans Board one of the questions I asked Llambias and Leech was, "What came first Ashley's investment in Rangers or the Rangers Retail deal?" To which the response was, "Why do you want to know that?" I said, "Because if he needed Ashley's investment it gave Ashley a hell of a lot leverage re Retail deal." They claimed they didn't know.
  4. Whitehouse responds.
  5. Indeed yet you continue to repeat the same mistake. Point to ponder it's seldom the author of the article who produces the headline it's the sub-editor.
  6. There is no hope of Clark,Whitehouse,Grier or Withey facing any charges in relation to the RFC plc administration, Green may face more charges but they won't.
  7. That ship has sailed unfortunately.
  8. No, but it's good news nonetheless.
  9. The liquidators of Rangers Football Club plc have launched a multi-million pound legal action against the company's former administrators. The claim has been lodged by BDO against Paul Clark and David Whitehouse of accountancy firm Duff & Phelps at Edinburgh's Court of Session. BDO are seeking up to £28.9m following Clark and Whitehouse's handling of the administration process. Rangers entered administration in February 2012. Four months later, the company's business and assets were sold to a consortium led by Charles Green for £5.5m. BDO were then appointed as liquidators, and have since conducted a review of the events leading up to administration through to the sale of the assets. 'No other option' In November 2014, BDO agreed a settlement for £24m in a claim against Collyer Bristow, the legal firm that acted for Craig Whyte in his purchase of Rangers Football Club plc from Sir David Murray in May 2011. Those funds were added to the creditors' pot, as will any monies raised from the legal action against Clark and Whitehouse. In a statement, BDO said: "The joint liquidators, following extensive deliberations with their professional advisors and the liquidation committee, have taken the decision to issue a claim against the former Rangers' administrators Paul Clark and David Whitehouse, of Duff & Phelps. "During the course of the liquidation, questions have arisen regarding the strategy previously adopted by the former administrators, which have not, to date, been adequately answered. "In seeking clarity, the joint liquidators have been left with no other option but to pursue the matter via the Scottish Court. The joint liquidators look forward to the resolution of this matter." Criminal charges against Clark and Whitehouse relating to their involvement with Rangers Football Club plc were dropped in June 2016. Duff & Phelps have been approached for comment. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-38896812?ns_mchannel=social&ns_campaign=bbc_sportsound&ns_source=twitter&ns_linkname=scotland
  10. You've got to desist from your default position of shooting the messenger. Contrary to popular belief newspapers don't print stuff like that without getting nudged in the right direction by someone who has something to gain and it's crystal clear that there's a concentrated effort afoot to make life distinctly uncomfortable for the manager. As for good news I'm sure if the pressure rises in the Boardroom we'll see one or two pieces of "good news" appear. I expect one item of which we'd all consider "good news" to come out soon.
  11. The decision achieved it's purpose as did the one re Brown and Swanson.
  12. The truth ain't shite stirring however unpalatable it may be.
  13. No we wouldn't strengthen it one bit, all those players lack the necessary pace to play three at the back. It works for Chelsea because they have the calibre of player to suit it. Anyway after the whistle is blown we basically move straight to a 2-5-3 as it is.
  14. Going three at the back with the current personnel would be suicide.
  15. 3-5-2 requires at the central most defender to have pace and all 3 to have the ability to read the game. Wallace being so high up the pitch was the major factor in us conceding on Saturday. Most teams we play now play the ball into the space where the full backs should be Hearts have been particularly effective with that ploy.
  16. He's also spot on re the crowd. It was the Scottish edition of the Daily Mail (iirc).
  17. Great way to install confidence in a struggling side. Really thought this Board wouldn't be so myopic.
  18. Oh furfuxsake you just woken up from a 6 year long nap?
  19. ...and your solution is?
  20. I know, I find it sad and unedifying and expect better from a Rangers Board. What hope is there when the backstabbing occurs at that level? They need to bear in mind that if they give Warburton his jotters and if his replacement can't wave a magic wand then that only leaves one target left and they more than anyone should know what happens when the fan base turns against their Board. Sadly it appears the decision has been made and all that remains is the timing.
  21. The shortcomings of the manager should not be used by the Board to deflect from their own shortcomings.
  22. Hearts decided the stand was full.
  23. Rangers 3 - Ross County 1 FGS Hyndman ( if we haven't knocked his fondness for shooting out of him yet!)
  24. I wouldn't dismiss it so readily, looks to me like a those at Ibrox not favourably disposed to Warburton have tipped the wink to those who do their bidding on social media. No doubt an unedifying mess will ensue.
  25. That doesn't mitigate what's happening on the park, as much as I believe in the Warburton project (and I do) we are not learning from mistakes, at this level Halliday doesn't cut it as a defensive midfielder him and Keirnan despite making the same mistakes game after game after game remain bomb proof. Long term I believe Warburton to be on the right path but there won't a long term for him if he continues demonstrating the inability to adapt in the short term.
