  1. Christ! If Charles returns (and I hope he does) this place will explode. We have a club right now (and Gersnet for that matter) if it wasn't for Mr Green we'd all be out shopping on a Saturday with the wife instead of following our favourite team. The ONLY man who put up. If he wants to take lashings of dosh then that's ok, at least I have a team to follow.
  2. Dont like how the kafliks cover up all things evil and have confession for kids...does that make me a proddy?
  3. Who do you fancy out of this lot? Partick Thistle, Morton, Falkirk, Livingston, Hamilton, Raith Rovers, Dumbarton, Cowdenbeath, Dunfermline, Airdrie, Queen of the South, Alloa, Brechin, Forfar, Arbroath. I'll predict Dunfermline, they need the money more than any of the others.
  4. Since we bagged the 3rd division title Geo has always maintained it's 55 and counting.
  5. Boris Pandza hopeful of deal as Rangers offer three-year contract Boris Pandza is hopeful a deal can be struck with Rangers after being offered a three-year deal by the club. The Bosnian defender is waiting for word back from his agent as negotiations continue between the two parties, with Ibrox boss Ally McCoist keen to sign him up. Pandza is available on a free after ending his contract with Belgian club Mechelen and is keen to join the Third Division champions. Listen to what he said on STV today..... http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/rangers/232618-boris-pandza-hopeful-of-deal-as-rangers-offer-defender-three-year-contract/?
  6. Asked Imran Ahmed or someone from Inverclyde...am off to bed.
  7. He's a successful businessman who strikes me as being a very intelligent individual who doesn't take shit from no-one (hence the ridiculous claims in this thread) He's a lifelong fan of Rangers FC and wants us back where we belong. He hasn't any experience on any of the above that amms says...wait a minute maybe he does, what do we know? Let's see instead of jumping to conclusions and making up stories from the steamie.
  8. It's pretty sad when posters resort to personal attacks when someone responds to 'their' claims...as dB said there's more questions on here than answers.
  9. I googled Red Bull F1 and found what you meant calscot...but when I google Easdale the gangster, I'm stuck
  10. I've thought for a long time that some on here support one person only
  11. Mission accomplished 2nd leg Linfield 3-0 IF Fuglafjordur Michael Gault headed the hosts ahead just before the break before second-half strikes from Jamie Mulgrew and Philip Lowry secured a comfortable 5-0 aggregate win.
  12. The problem is where to move them..you can't have away fans in a stand above or under where the home fans sit. And to allocate them top and bottom tier would create even more empty seats
  13. Nigerian side pipped to play-offs as rivals win 79-0 NIGERIAN football bosses have launched a match-fixing probe after 146 goals were scored — in just TWO games. Police Machine FC hammered Babayaro FC 67-0 — only to see Amateur Division 4 rivals Plateau United Feeders beat Akurba FC 79-0. The high-flying sides went into the final round of matches in Nigeria’s sixth tier level on points. And the fishy final weekend meant Plateau pipped Police Machine to play-off qualification by goal difference. Nigeria Football Federation chief Mohammed Sanusi said: “This is a disgrace. We have confirmed the results from the centre and it is totally unacceptable. “The amateur league board will take a decision on it as soon as possible.” Both teams now face expulsion from Nigerian football after league organisers in the northern state of Bauchi vowed to scrub out the results. And Emmanuel Adesanya, head of amateur football in the country, insists the football frauds will never progress back up the football pyramid. He raged: “The match officials have been suspended. The good news is that none of these teams are part of our league as yet. “At the moment, they are simply representatives of their states, and only the group winners would have qualified to join the Nationwide Amateur League. “We cannot allow such fraudulent teams to be part of our league. But the board will take a final decision.” Read more: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/5004797/Nigeria-football-probe-after-146-goals-scored-in-two-games.html#ixzz2YaT4xxgz
  14. I for one have never heard these 'stories' and I don't know anyone from Inverclyde so looks like I'll never hear them. Anybody from Inverclyde on here that could enlighten the majority?
  15. He did have this to say... Sounds a decent enough chap to me...and he's not a Morton fan, that was banded about with the gangster quotes when his name was first mentioned with Rangers iirc.
  16. I googled 'Thomson the gangster' and up came mugshots of Arthur...next I googled 'Ferris the gangster' and Paul's face was all over my screen...next I googled 'Easdale the gangster' - guess what? Not a mention of them being gansters, not even pics?
  17. Ally McCoist being compared to Bill Struth as a manger is taking this too far imo. I'll have what amms is drinking.
  18. With all the works going on and a cycle race too, it might have been better for all to have played a game against someone else
  19. ...at Murray Park. David Weir used his contacts in the game to freshen up pre-season training on Monday. The Blades squad worked out in scorching conditions at Glasgow Rangers' Murray Park training ground - a facility that cost a reported £14m to construct and that is recognised as one of the best in Britain. Weir, of course, is a former player and skipper at Rangers, whilst his Assistant Manager - Performance, Adam Owen, recently left the Scottish giants to join the Blades. "It's always nice to do something a little bit different, just to freshen things up," said Weir. "Sometimes just a change of scenery can do you the power of good. "I thought it would be good for the boys and also make things a little bit different. We've got a good base in Scotland but I spoke to Ally (McCoist) and asked if it was OK for us to come. "Most people in the game accept that Murray Park is one of the best in Britain and so we thought it would be good for the boys to work here today and have a look around. "The boys worked really hard. They have done ever since we came up here and that's been good to see. It's that commitment that we want." The Blades head back south of the border later this week after completing the three-match tour of Scotland with a game at Raith Rovers on Wednesday evening (7.30pm kick-off).
