  1. LEE WALLACE last night insisted former Hearts team-mate Marius Zaliukas would be a massive hit at Ibrox if he decides to join Rangers. Light Blues left back Wallace played in the same Tynecastle back four as the Lithuanian, who is mulling over a contract offer from the League One leaders. Zaliukas is back home in Lithuania and has not played since May when he left Hearts after seven successful years. Gers boss Ally McCoist is keen to land the player as he builds a team designed to compete when Rangers get back to the top flight and Wallace believes Zaliukas fits that bill. He said: “He’ll be great. I’ve obviously spoken to the manager a couple of times earlier in the season and Marius was in training last week. I caught him just at the end of the international break. “The manager knew about him and we’ve spoken about him and I told him that I’ve played with him for a number of years at Hearts and he’s clocked up a big amount of appearances. “We just had a brief chat and spoke about the experiences we had at Hearts. “He’s got a wealth of experience in the SPL and has lifted the Scottish Cup. He’s a great centre half and he’s good in both boxes so we know his qualities. I’m not quite sure what’s going on behind the scenes but if he comes in he’ll certainly add strength to the team. “He’ll be back home in Lithuania now thinking over the deal but hopefully I’ll see him soon. “I’m a wee bit surprised he doesn’t have a club because he is a great player and had great qualities. “He’s a top centre back and would add solidity to the team because he’s a powerful defender who is very dominant in the air. We’ll see what happens.” http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ibrox-star-lee-wallace-insists-2296408?
  2. Cast your mind back to last year to Celtic’s amazing win against Barcelona which brought Rod Stewart to tears. Crocodile tears...? Is this the real Rod...? Make yer mind up Roddy bhoy.
  3. So did someone from Companies House contact BBC Scotland on Friday, or did someone from BBC Scotland make the whole thing up? This is the article in question for those who missed it (like me). http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-business-24181481
  4. "Sunderland AFC confirms that it has parted company with head coach Paolo Di Canio this evening," a statement on the club website (http://www.safc.com) said on Sunday. http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2013/09/23/sunderland-part-company-coach-di-canio?
  5. Spurs vs Chelsea pick of the bunch next week Saturday 12.45 ko...bring it on.
  6. Looking forward to the Manchester derby...Rooney to star.
  7. Us fans deserve the truth, we've suffered enough, let's hope this investigation finally ends this unforeseen nightmare.
  8. I don't agree with Baz regards c**t* being excellent against AC Milan....Milan were really bad. ...but I agree with his remarks about Lunny sitting back watching slo-mo highlights on BBC Scotland then dishing out 3 game bans for this incident. I fear for Rangers if this idiot is still in place when we get back. Judge for yourselves...
  9. The state we are in and all the stuff I've been reading I'm gradually shifting my support for the Easdales and beginning to think Zappa's point is valid. What a bloody mess!
  10. I'm getting confused here? Leggo said this... ...and the email says this... That email is dated 08 May 2013?? Is Ken talking about the same investigation as Leggo??
  11. He should have waited a bit longer before coming out with this, Ally said only today that he was still speaking to his agent.
  12. As Andy said, you wouldn't notice the laces from the stands...maybe another gesture - say running around for the first 5 minutes with one hand on their hip - that would be noticed.
  13. Just like the premature talk of Rangers reaching the final, last week was the same with regards to timmy's 2014/15 CL qualifiers. Difference is the talk was about tHem playing at Murrayfield, no mention of Ibrox????
  14. ...and 4-2, 10 goals on that pitch in two games...nothing to fear.
  15. Apart from Wallace what other players could be called up?
  16. Apparently the Dunfermline match at Ibrox on Saturday October 12 with a 5.30pm k.o. will not be moved to accommodate the Ramsdens Cup Semi-final tie whoever we get. Good.
  17. I don't understand all this tweeting stuff...I just follow people in real life.
  18. We are not the only team to utilise players you know.
  19. Every obstacle possible will be put in place to ensure Rangers don't win the Scottish Cup. I'm not saying Scottish football is corrupt, but refs do make 'honest' mistakes.
