  1. I don't share your confidence and we need to offload before we bring in freebies mate dependant to who McCoist wants Craig Gordon, Kenny Miller, Kris Boyd, etc ?
  2. I have no problem earning a wage but 100% bonus considering where the club is an absolute disgrace, he is on the gravy train like the rest.
  3. Is Gordon signing for free, this is a typical Ally signing.
  4. Under McCoist and the dross he has served up this season we will be lucky to win the Championship next season.
  5. Ally wants him back for next season be interesting if Wallace rubber stamps this.
  6. I don't see Bain returning to Rangers there will be an outcry from the support.
  7. The SFL board and lower-league clubs will have to react favourably to the plan, although failure to do so could spark the threatened breakaway. The clubs would also need to approve the plan by a 22-7 majority, with Rangers excluded from voting because they are still associate members. Change appeared to be stifled when the new split system was rejected by St Mirren and Ross County. The financial redistribution plan was based on creating extra revenue from the so-called middle-eight. And Doncaster claimed the SPL clubs should be applauded for opening themselves up to the increased possibility of relegation. "There's a real desire for change but it's not quite as simple as just play-offs," he said. "There is obviously working within a single merged league, which is what supporters tell us they want, but also redistribution down the leagues to favour the second tier so that full-time professional football remains sustainable at that level. "The SPL clubs were today very sympathetic to the plight the First Division clubs find themselves in financially. "There is a genuine desire to ensure there's a proper promotion and relegation between the divisions. The SPL has the smallest proportion of clubs relegated anywhere in Europe. "So there is a need to ensure there is refreshment and clubs have been bold today. They have agreed they are prepared to take on the greater risk of relegation within a merged league. "There would need to be a continued system of parachute payments, but also by redistributing money into the First Division, then it's a less painful landing if you are relegated. "Play-offs certainly give you more to sell - more broadcast rights, more sponsorship rights, and of course there's more people coming through the gates. That should mean a net gain for everyone." The SPL's sponsorship deal with Clydesdale Bank expires in the summer and, with the brand having suffered amid the Rangers crisis and failure to instigate reconstruction, a merged body is seen as a more attractive prospect to potential backers. Doncaster said: "What this does mean is that we can work together, assuming there is agreement, in ensuring suitable sponsorship arrangements exist across the whole league." Although First Division clubs have been determined to force change, the SFL board and some lower-league clubs have been more cautious. But Doncaster is sure they can introduce the new model before next season. "We need to work quickly, there's a lot of work to be done," he said. "But if everyone is agreeable, there is absolutely no reason why it shouldn't take place in time for the summer." Fixtures are due out in five weeks but, given the 12-10-10-10 structure would remain, Doncaster admitted the merger could even be ratified after that. "Theoretically, yes," he said. "Obviously it's desirable to have it achieved as soon as possible, and if everyone is agreeable that it is the right way forward then it can happen."
  8. The kind of players we should be bringing to Ibrox and develop them for the future. He is a good young player knows what Div 2 is about and a bluenose.
  9. Look forward to Longmuirs statement, and what about the 11 Million debt the SPL has who is paying for that ?
  10. We're in an absolutely shocking state off the park right now. The problem I have is that I really have no idea what to take on board and what to take with a pinch of salt because there's so much shite leaking from the boardroom and so many guys on there with an agenda. Why has Malcolm Murray received a vote of no confidence? He has done very little in the public domain to give me an opinion of him one way or the other. I had this impression that Green was doing the public stuff and Murray was sitting in the back getting along with his job quietly. That may or may not have been the case but whatever Murray has been up to it seems the rest of the board can't wait to get rid of him. Who do we trust in this power struggle? Is there much we can do about it? I'm not sure there is because it's all cloak and daggers. The info leaked is pretty much designed to be the bare minimum or very vague to stop us from being able to form an opinion whereby we're able to put our support behind one party.
  11. That sums up Allys attitude, he would spend 50million in SFL2 if anybody was rich enough and stupid enough to give it him, ffs Ally have you learnt nothing from the last few years?! Im sorry but that is a mindboggling comment, and to keep him and Durrant and Kenny in their jobs? You dont keep your jobs by bankrupting the club Ally, you keep them by playing decent football and keeping a tight control on the pursestrings hes like the Anti-Wenger, Arsen spends little (in EPL terms) and plays good football Ally wants to spend loads and plays shite football. Young Scottish players are on buttons at lower league clubs. Some junior teams probably pay more wages than even teams in the first division so we could easily pick up these young guys with potential with decent wages on offer. If I was the young and playing at QOS or whoever else it wouldn't be the money that would be attracting me to sign for Rangers. It would be the opportunity to join the most successful club in the world. The biggest and best supported club in the country and help them on their march back to the top while making a name for myself. Rangers should be the most attractive club in Scotland for youngsters at the moment.
  12. The reality is a good Management Team would get the best out the squad we have , they haven't turned into shite players overnight. there is a good nucleus of players to build a good team playing attacking football to watch if managed properly. Dortmund have proved it can be done at that level, QOTS proved it can be done in Div 2..
  13. What I believe is being lost here is that John Brown, whether rightly or wrongly, put his head on the block and stood on the steps of Ibrox and said what he believed to be the truth, irrespective of how it could affect him personally. Loved him as a player and love the fact that he didn't stay quiet. In years to come, I only hope that his beliefs are proved wrong. Even if they are, for me, he's still a hero for expressing them.
  14. Heard a kid scored 6 goals last night sounds promising.
  15. Can't wait to see the day Whyte is Jailed for fraud, if he had a hand on Ibrox assets he would have sued Green and Amhed by now.
  16. Will be interesting to see what comes out from this TRS seem confident on the matter. It could be anyone close to the action.
  17. It was on the cards IA was going to go as well as Green once Whyte reported them to SFO.
  18. Former Rangers owner Craig Whyte has agreed to sell the book and film rights to his story of his takeover and the financial collapse of the club. In an announcement to the stock exchange on Wednesday, Worthington Group plc announced that it had acquired a 26% stake in Law Financial Limited, one of Mr Whyteâ??s companies. The group said the assets of the firm include the legal action Mr Whyte launched against current Rangers chief executive Charles Green, who he has accused of acting as a "front" for him last summer. In the stock exchange announcement, Worthington Group said: "It has also been agreed that, pursuant to the agreement certain other related rights, assets and causes of action will be transferred to the Law Financial Group or directly to Worthington. "Those assets include the book, film and television rights to the two takeovers of The Rangers Football Club in 2011 and 2012 as it relates to Craig Whyte. It is intended that these rights will be commercialised in due course." Mr Whyte purchased an 85% stake in Rangers from Sir David Murray for £1 in May 2011. The club was placed into administration last February with debts of up to £124m, including £18m of unpaid tax following Mr Whyteâ??s takeover. Mr Greenâ??s consortium purchased the assets of the club through the newco Sevco Scotland Limited in a £5.5m deal last June. Mr Whyte is contesting this, claiming the deal was struck by administrators Duff and Phelps with another firm, Sevco 5088, which he claims to be behind. Rangers have announced they are preparing a file to submit to Police Scotland on Mr Whyte and his associate Aidan Earley's conduct. Worthington, which purchased the stake in Law Financial Ltd for £250,000 in convertible loan notes, said the company "has a number of subsidiaries, namely Sevco 5088 Ltd, Law Capital Ltd, Litigation Capital Ltd and Media Litigation Ltd." It has the option of buying out Mr Whyteâ??s stake in the firm until October 31 this year. Douglas Ware, chief executive officer of the Worthington Group, added: "We believe that the transaction contemplated by this announcement gives the company a major opportunity to increase shareholder value and thus to strengthen the company's balance sheet, enabling the company to look at additional opportunities as they arise." http://news.stv.tv/s...ngers-collapse/
  19. RST Board Statement The board of the Rangers Supporters' Trust today calls for the future of Chief Executive Charles Green to be decided by the Board of the club and for Charles Green and Imran Ahmad to pursue legal action against Craig Whyte. Our club needs clarity over two major issues - the future of Charles Green and the ongoing claims of Craig Whyte. The proper places for these two to be handled are, respectively, the Ibrox boardroom and a court of law. The Board of the club has enjoyed the backing of the overwhelming majority of the Rangers Family and to date no valid concern about its operation or composition has been aired. Therefore, it has the competency and authority to deal with the matters surrounding Mr Greenâ??s recent performance without interference from the media or external bodies. With regard to Mr Whyteâ??s claims, the Board can question the directors and employees concerned in a confidential manner which should provide additional clarity. Craig Whyte will never be an acceptable owner or investor in Rangers - his allegations appear so outrageous and injurious to the club that only a court appearance will force him to provide conclusive evidence of his claims. As he is alleging collusion between himself, Mr Green and Mr Ahmad we believe that the situation now requires judicial examination and recommend that Mr Green and Mr Ahmad instigate legal proceedings against Craig Whyte without delay.
  20. What a load of pish have the SFA Rhegan got a lot of time on there hands , lets see what we can get on Charlie today seems to be the media motto...
  21. Green needs to get his house in order , the media are having a field day regarding all the speculation thats happening at the moment. And a lot of stuff written with no quotes recently in the papers as Jackson Daily rhebel, Green needs to address and clarify everything through the Official Website insted of talking to tim propaganda outlets.
  22. What contract is Ally Durrant McDowall on ? Is it a 12 month rolling contract ?
  23. THERE was always one thing guaranteed at Sheffield United when Charles Green was in charge â?? turbulence. And Dave Bassett has told Rangers fans to strap themselves in as the gruff Yorkshireman looks set to take the Light Blues on a similar rocky journey. Green had a controversial three-year spell at Bramall Lane as owner Mike McDonaldâ??s right-hand man and Bassett was the first of many victims. As the legendary manager put it to RecordSport: â??Charlie was openly brazen that things were going to change at Sheffield United and that there would be some dead bodies about and I was one he was going to assassinate.â? But that was just the start of it. During Greenâ??s reign as chief executive, several long-standing members of staff left Bramall Lane including the club physio, kit man and several backroom staff. In the last week at Ibrox, Ally McCoistâ??s chief scout Neil Murray and physio Philip Yeates have both left the club, striker Fran Sandaza has been sacked after he was the victim of a hoax call and the stadiumâ??s facilities manager, Ross Macaskill, has also left. A source at the Blades, who was in a senior position at the club when McCoistâ??s former Ibrox team-mate Nigel Spackman was in charge, said: â??He got rid of people on the coaching staff and in other positions so he could get his own men in. â??They werenâ??t the managerâ??s choices but it made him feel stronger. Heâ??d try and pull the wool over the managerâ??s eyes and get people in who are trustworthy in his view so he has the relationship rather than the manager. Itâ??s his only way of getting an â??inâ?? into the playing side. â??Youâ??ve got to be very careful where Charles is concerned. In the end the power goes to his head. Heâ??ll be caught up with being in charge of Rangers and being in the papers and the TV. â??And heâ??s not answerable to anyone because you donâ??t know who the investors are.â? Green, of course, was behind the recent share issue at Rangers which raised £22million and it was a similar story at Sheffield United. A share issue at the Blades came on the back of the club seemingly showing ambition with big-name signings being made but they were later sold when things went wrong. Bassettâ??s seven-year spell as Blades boss was cut short when Green axed him and they later had a dispute over his pay-off when the Londoner said he didnâ??t receive his compensation in full. Green offered to sort it out in the car park but Bassett called his bluff and the tough-talking Yorkshireman quickly backed down. Eighteen years after those events, Bassett said: â??I would love to have had the chance to take negotiations further in the car park. He didnâ??t want to.â? But asked for his take on recent events at Rangers, with Green yesterday claiming he deceived Craig Whyte to get the keys to Ibrox after previously playing down the former ownerâ??s role in the creation of the newco, Bassett said: â??It doesnâ??t surprise me what is happening at Rangers. Bassett was ready to fight Green in car park Julian Finney/Getty Images â??Where Charlieâ??s involved, thereâ??s always turbulence. My successor at United, Howard Kendall, was backed with cash because they had to improve the company due to the launch of a share issue. â??They spent some money and did some trading with players because if you wanted to float the company you had to show it was being successful. â??They had to give the impression they wanted to get to the Premiership otherwise fans wouldnâ??t have bought shares. â??During the flotation they made a killing on the shares. When Sheffield United became a limited company there was a lot of money swilling about and Iâ??m sure they did very well out of it. Fans later actually called for an investigation into the whole share issue. â??I only worked with Charles for a short space of time and he wasnâ??t in a position where he sacked anyone that had an impact on me but I know with the likes of Nigel Spackman that this happened. â??Nigel was treated like s**t. Charlie made it quite plain he was in charge of the team and that Nigel had to conform. Managers were kept on their toes, put it that way. â??I know enough about Charlie to realise that there will always be things happening and a lack of stability. Charlie and continuity donâ??t go hand in hand. â??When Charlie started at Sheffield he wasnâ??t interested in making any friends with the staff or anyone â?? and it was the same when he left. â??Heâ??s not remembered fondly but he doesnâ??t care whether he is or not. Heâ??s loyal to the people who employ him. Thereâ??s no doubt he was loyal to Mike McDonald when he was at Sheffield United. â??Charlieâ??s not an emotional person â?? making decisions that are unpleasant isnâ??t a problem for him. â??I knew Mike a bit and he used Charlie as a hatchet man. He went in and did all the nasty jobs that had to be done and he was capable of doing that. He was comfortable about it. â??Iâ??ve met a few ruthless people in my time but a lot of business people are ruthless. They havenâ??t made their money or been successful businessmen by being nice to people. Theyâ??ve all had a spell where theyâ??ve made ruthless decisions. â??Charlie wasnâ??t my cup of tea but he was never going to be because he was coming in to sack me and I knew that so immediately we were at loggerheads. Iâ??d be worried about anything Charlie is involved with. â??Charlie might make money for Rangers and I wouldnâ??t put it past him that the club could get sold to someone else after heâ??s cut them to whatever requirements. United owner McDonald with new Blades boss Spackman and Green in 1997 Sheffield Newspapers Ltd â??Rangers is a business. It could be Barratt Homes or Scottish Power. Charlieâ??s not in love with the product. â??Iâ??ve said before how he said to me if he could make more money turning Bramall Lane into a potato field then heâ??d do it. â??And these people who are with him will be there to move Rangers on and come out with a profit. â??Charlie has floated a few firms over the years and has earned some good money.â?

  25. CHARLES GREEN, Chief Executive of Rangers Football Club, said: â??Once again Craig Whyte has made serious allegations against the people who have committed themselves to rebuilding a Scottish institution which, almost single-handedly, he dragged towards the brink of oblivion. http://www.rangers.c...green-statement
