  1. They just look more and more incompetant
  2. and the guy who fed them the "wealth off the radar" story is still working on behalf of board members and is till feeing rubbish to anyone daft enough to use it
  3. Has he spent all of his 30 pieces of silver?
  4. They really should be demanding a refund from toxic jack when his PR spin is so transparent.
  5. Anybody got a a list of all these multi billionaires that have wanted to put money into the club over the past few years? I'm surprised the wife of the former Nigerian Oil minister hasn't been in touch with the Easdales.
  6. and they've got the cheek to complain about King's issues with the Tax Authorities in SA!
  7. The Board forced a court action the last time and lost, must have cost a pretty penny in legal fees.
  8. He'd also been out of the sharp end of football for quite a while before he became our assistant manager and had never actually managed a team. I always think promoting the assistant in football is quite risky.
  9. Oddly enough, that was one of the reasons I was worried about him becoming manager in the first place. He never seemed very knowledgeable or insightful when has was doing his tv football stuff.
  10. in that case they would have been gone at the end of the notice period. If they'd served it at the end of Div 3 the management team would have been long gone by now
  11. The Board could have given them their year's notice at any time and then said to them, we want you to stay (if they did) but we need to negotiate a more realistic salary. They didn't and seemed to prefer to keep them in place to distract our attention from other issues.
  12. Since when have the Board (in any of it's incarnations) cared what Graham and Houston said?. If they only kept the management team in place because they were worried about a backlash from the fans, then why did they refuse the various offers of finance from sources other than Ashley? That has caused an almighty backlash and they don't seem too worried about it.
  13. It reamins to be seen if they're capable of doing any better than the current mob, I can't imagine that they'll be all that motivated.
  14. Whatever his contract says he is entitled to. It's the world we live in - failure pays.
  15. The board are deciding who should play. Equally they could have laid down a strategy for the football side and instructed the manager to follow it. They could have set a budget on salaries and signing on fees, age profile of players, future marketability of new signings etc. They did none of that, they just continued to throw money at a hopeless manager . Who is worse, the man isn't up to the job or the people who keep him in place no matter how bad the performances are?
  16. He might expect them to appoint a manager, so he can get back to filling the position he's contracted for. The board is doing this arse for elbow, sort out the management, then sort out the players.
  17. Greedy for wanting what he is entitled to? The logical thing would have been to have got a new coach or manager in...you'd have thought Newcastle might have had a spare youth coach or something floating about that Ashley could have got sent up to Glasgow.
