  1. I'd rather we went for someone else than Miller.

Yes, he just had the season of his life but has now arguably peaked. We need to go for someone younger and hungrier.

Agreed. There is a danger he'd come back knowing fine well this is the last team he'll play for so he'd get in a lazy comfort zone and be no where near the form he was before. But if he did come in the right financial situation i would not be gutted.

  2. Great? Cuellar was great, Boumsong was great. Bougherra is and was average with the occasional purple patch. I'm not sure why you wish him so well when he's allegedly screwing over the club you're supposed to love.

What have Boumsong and Cuellar got to do with the price of cheese?

He's been an integral part of a Rangers side that has had the odds firmly stacked against them so for me he's a great pl;ayer for doing his job the way he did.

he's not a rangers fan, he owes me and you nothing as he's done nothing but give his best for us.

    Stop being bitter

  3. At the end of the day Spiers writtes for the Times in Scotland. For all it's a quality broadsheet in a very British manner. it wont have a big footballing audience. That speaks for itself in regards to how he's viewed as a football journalist. As much as we moan about the red tops, that is where you get the best football information and where the best football journos are, and, the most important thing, it's where the normal football fan reads his footballing news when it comes to the written press.

He is keeping his career going on the back of attacks on Rangers. Any time i have listned to the phone in all he talks about, and the callers is crap about Rangers. IMO any other journo would have said, "look, i've said all i can on this subject can we move on to football please."

Nope, he goes hammer and tongues every show.

    What does that tell you?

  4. Don't think so.

The Stadium is needing money spent, not catering, on the actual Stadium. If money has been promised, that is as important as transfer money.

LOL, it is. I think you'll find the concourses are part of the stadium and have needed repairs and modernised for 5 years anyway. That is happening.

  5. You said the catering company is paying for that.

I remember someone saying Rangers needed to spend aroung £10m to bring the Stadium up to what it should be.

Same difference to us as fans

  6. So we have paid for a paint job.

I thought a bit more would have been done.

You seem to have missed the part that we are getting the kiosks and concourses done up to the tune of £1.8 million

  7. I dont understand the martyr argument. What will banning them lead to? Them writing negative stories about us? And that's differnet to now how? At least if they're banned the club aren't slapping the fans in the face by giving complimentary seats and access to the club we would die to have to these some arseholes who denigrate us at every opportunity.

The martyr argument seems to me to be a weak line to hide behind to justify no action at all.

Spiers does tweet along the lines of"I'll be in my usual seat At Ibrox tomorrow in the front row of the main stand above the dug outs" Which is pretty much the best seats in Ibrox. He says it to annoy Rangers fans.

  8. Heres pics i took myself last tuesday. The pics don;t do the paint job justice. The pitch speaks for itself

  9. I was at Argyle house a week ago. The pitch has been removed and the sand base is down. The Copland has had a full paint job and looked fresh, the Broomie was getting done.

All concourses and kiosks are getting a full overhaul. That comes from the stadium managers mouth. They are spending £1.8M on them alone.

  10. 3-1 to Barca as well, but an interesting piece of trivia I heard today was that Messi has never scored in England. He may choose tonight not to be so negative(lol), but sometimes these hoodoo's stick to you for your whole life.

I'm forever thinking footballers, especially the best, can score loads of goals. Probably be a boring, shit game with the winning goal bouncing off someone's arse for an O.G.

I get what you mean mate. HMMMMMMMMM, not sure on this kid though.

  11. What's your predictions for tonight?

I am finding it hard to predict. My predictions are normally miles out anyway, but still, it's a weird one.

I think Fergie will set up not to loose and hope for a break or Set piece. I can see Vidic scoring from a corner

2-1 Barca and Messi being out of this World and getting both Barca goals. I can see it being called "The Messi Final" because he plays a blinder

  12. Well that money will be a welcome addition, unless Whyte expects that to be part of his £5-10 million investement he promised to invest.

To my mind, that CL money, or what's left of it should be added to Whyte's initial amount of investment and maybe that is what AJ was meaning when he said the Rangers support had still to remain vigilant?

One things for sure it isn't comfortable reading
