  1. Today could and should be the biggest day in The Rangers modern day history. But will it actually happen?

I can see a delay of some sort coming from a mile off. It will be caused by the SFL clubs voting us into the 3rd which in turn will cause the SPL/SFA taking "charge" of the situation and putting our league status on hold until they can come up with a better solution. (yeah, I know!)

There should be no grey area here and this should have been decided months ago. The bosses at the SFA should have said,"ok, you are where you are, move down to div3 and work your way back up" That's what bosses are paid to do, to make harsh decisions, not bottle it.

Theres no need for me to go into the falsehood of Scottish football sporting integrity. That has been crushed and proved to be non existing. It's called financial gain in reality

"If" we go get a straight forwards demotion to div3 is it safe to say that we will see new bidders appear. The last I head was there is at least 4 potential owners looking at the situation.

In all this is a day that will shape our future, I hope and prey it goes very smoothly and we are told categorically that we start back in div3

  2. http://news.cnet.com/2100-1038_3-5997332.html

Why would he be joking? I thought everyone knew Wikipedia was decent but not great in terms of accuracy - nothing more, nothing less. In any event, we can probably all agree that hundreds of thousands of internet users (perhaps wrongly) use it as a quick, first line of reference... So it does matter that our club's page is howlingly inaccurate at the moment.

I think that's what you call an oxymoron. I can only assume people that believe anything on there are very new to Z interwebz

    It's a joke

  3. I have to admit to being either confused, or so tired of it all i have built up some sort of resistance to any sort of Rangers news now, wither good or bad. That worries me, but at the same time comforts me as i am at long last sleeping at night.

I honestly donâ??t know if weâ??ll go to the 1st div, a new bastardised SPL1/ or into the current div 3.

My gut instinct is weâ??ll be placed in Div 1 so we save other clubs and keep the Sky contract going. I donâ??t agree with that as i want div 3

  4. True, I use it for things I already know, but have forgotten in the mists of time and booze induced neuron destrution.

    Dates, names, places ect, ect...

i’m total flabbergasted that you would trust Wikipedia for such things.

    Or are you joking?

  5. What’s his angle though?

I can’t make my mind up about him at all. He’s a well known conman. He is doing this off his own back and not costing us any money though.

I don;t think this will come to much though. it’ll easily be be told o fuck off by the English FA i’d guess?

  6. There's a great journey to be had by the traveling Bears. Forget the politics and awful mess we're in. Once we're playing football again it'll be a time to remember for years to come.

One thing I'd want put in place ASAP is a price cap on tickets at away grounds Rangers will visit. I've no doubt there'll be at least a 30% jump when we go. That needs to be addressed the second we know where we'll be playing

Club chairman will say its down to running costs and having to put on extra police, that's knickers, the fact the away end and most likely a high % of the home end will be full of Bears will cover those costs

  7. FFS i find myself agreeing with GS twice in 5 minutes!!

While I have total resentment for the captain of our club walking away in these circumstances, I really thought he would do much better than a EPL newbie who will of course be hot favourites for relegation.

I truly believe he (and the others) will regret the decisions they have made this summer for the rest of their lives.

I don’t as they’ve become millionaires overnight. This is nothing to do with football, it’s cold hard cash.

  8. and do we get 4 or 5 seats on the board if we own 50%?

This is where the problems start. Who gets the places? The fan that put in the most cash? Reps from the RST and RSCâ??s?

    How does it work?

  9. As Frankie posted the other day, Twitter has been a brilliant outlet for information during this. It’s ment we can keep up to speed with breaking news quicker than ever.

Yes, i know there’s a lot of shit on there, i’ve learned how to avoid that for the most part, who to trust, and who to laugh off.

So who’s excelled and who’s had a nightmare during this period?

For me the biggest fall from grace was Tom English from the Scotsman. I used to like the guy, he was always balanced, fairly interesting and had good words to say. Then out of nowhere (that i saw) he became this parody of himself. A loathsome bitter Rangers hater that had nothing but snide remarks, often childish. Why did he decide to do that? Was it because of pressure from other Rangers haters?

Jim Spence of the BBC. God what a horrible bitter and twisted little man. If Rangers cured Cancer he’d find fault.

Speirs. He’s kept his faltering career going during this, if it wasn’t for us the nasty little turd would be licking the toilets clean at the McDonlads drive though in Kilmarnock.

Delahunt. Christ, where do you start with this shitpig? He’s been a hater of out club for years anyway so there’s not much i can add that you don’t already know.

Chris McLaughlan of the BBC. This man ejaculates any time there’s bad news about Rangers, and he’s also a bitter disgusting liar. he was responsible for the Ally smile. I’d love him never to be seen or heard of again. Horrible man, you can hear is nipples erecting when there’s bad news on Rangers. Not a nice person at all. Confirmed Virgin.

Guys that i have enjoyed and feel sit on the fence and give us a fair view.

Richard Wilson from the Herald, for me, has been great. He’s reported stuff fairly, even though it’s been tough to read at times, i feel i can trust him to be honest and to the point.

STV Grant. He does get stick off a lot of Bears, i like him, he replies to you and is one of the quickest to get breaking news online.

Martin Williams from the Herald. Not the quickest with news but does not hate us and has said he’s disgusted at the way some of his fellow hacks have reported the Rangers news during this. When he talks about The Rangers he’s balanced and is supportive of the fans situation.

STV Andy.. Not a bad guy, he’s to the point and does kick off some interesting debate. I don;t always agree with him, but he’s not malicious or snide

Peter Smith at STV. A very well balanced guy. I have a lot of time for him. He’s up there with Richard Wilson. He’s never kicked us and usually backs Rangers

In all i think the STV mob have been the best when it comes down to particular media outlets. They’ve not danced on our graves and have been very quick at getting news out.

Bloggers. Chris Graham, John DC Gow, Alasdair McKillop and Frankie from here have been great through this. The insight and train of thought they post is always welcome and bang on the money. We’ve got a new breed of Rangers media men to step up to the plate now. Long may that continue

Also, be aware that my opinions come from the online media and Rangers community as i don;t live in the UK so i don’t get to see the news or listen to phone ins etc. I’m sure a few of you will have opinions about those outlets

I could go on but those are the ones that are at the top of my head. I do appreciate that there will be disagreements with what i’ve said, which is fair.
