  1. So are you 100% behind your employers? I think most of us are NOT "fully" behind those who employ them.

A difference with Ally McCoist is that he can afford to walk away and in fact gave up a more lucrative media career to come to Rangers, and could probably go back to that.

I'd say he has the balls to stay and fight for the survival of the club.

Good point. I don;t fully trust my employers, but they do enough for me to stay with them, even with other options on the table.

This is now a major crossroads again. We now have this monkey off our back, we won’t be in the SPL. If it’s div 3 or 1 the actual running of the club and level of commitment needed by the club by the fans right now is the same.

back Ally, give CG and MM a few weeks grace, buy seasons

  2. There’s no doubt other clubs will go into admin.

The shitty thing is the chances are there’ll be a new SFA/SPL hierarchy which will mean we can’t expect the same awful treatment we suffered to happen to them.

The new bosses at Hampden will say,”Sorry, it was the previous regime that passed those sanctions onto Rangers, these are the new rules” With the clubs getting no more than a slap on the wrists

  3. It seems they're the most inclusive body for the moment which is why they're acting on our behalves.

However, they have also conceded they may not be the best body going forward so are going to hold another meeting to discuss that (and the raised money) over the next week or two.

Generally, I think there are some fair questions for them but I wouldn't be looking a gift horse in the mouth.

They’ve done their job, time for them to disband and let the RSC’s etc do the talking.

  4. It is a worry, true, but I heard someone on the radio last night saying that the costs of running a club in div 3 are tiny compared to running costs in the SPL. They didn't elaborate the point, but I do think that costs would be lower overall.

I’m on about bricks and mortar not clerical costs mate

  5. The three new stands are very easy to maintain. Also they are very easy to moth ball for a year or two. It’s the main stand, it’s a wreck and has to have constant attention.

The ticket price is going to be a difficult one. I know rite now many are saying,”Yeah i’ll deffo buy”. If we go to div 3 and the prices stay the same, i honestly think amny will not buy. There’s a recession about to happen, add to these new bank fuck ups people will be wary of how they spend. Why pay for a top table when you get a shit seat next to the toilets.?

Fans can’t be expected to pay the full price, it’s not fair although i do understand why many want us to.

If we go to div three Ibrox will have crowds at around 18-22K on ave anyway

  6. I donâ??t.

Iâ??d rather they all survived as the best way to get back at them is by beating them on the park. Donâ??t get me wrong, if clubs go into admin then Hell mend Them! And donâ??t blame The Rangers if that happens, blame the people in control at your club who have â??balanced the booksâ? on Rangers being around to finance your club.

I think itâ??s safe to say Ibrox has not been the best for atmosphere at games for a very long time, since the early 90â??s iâ??d say. Itâ??s not the fans fault as such, itâ??s the make up of Human DNA. You get â??usedâ? to winning which brings in complacency in fans.

Now with this whole mess slowly starting to level out, the thought of being back in the SPL is exciting, there will be a lot better atmospheres at games from now IMO. The great big V sign to these people that wanted us kicked out the SPL for â??sporting reasons" (see Jealousy for the real reason) will be large and wide.

Imagine relegating Aberdeen or Dundee Utd towards the end of the season, that would be outstanding and the best way to get one over on them.

It doesnâ??t sit right with me that a lot of Bears want other clubs to fold, why? Thatâ??s not what weâ??re about, rise above the hate, be patient, as the time will arrive when we can do what we do best as The Rangers, win trophies and beat these diddy teams.

We are, and always will be the biggest club in the country, make no mistake about that. As iâ??ve said before, the shadow we cast over every single team in the SPL is far bigger and longer than we thought, itâ??s plain to see, and that flatters me. I didnâ??t realise we were living rent free in these peoples heads so loudly for all these years.

  7. On what basis does Mr Dingwall assert that "this decision which has been taken out of malice rather than for the greater good of the Scottish game." and why would the SPL Chairmen take account of "likely result in job cuts at the club as well as damage the local Glasgow economy" in their decision making process"?

He says that â??The decision has absolutely nothing to do with sporting integrity " because the "SPL chairman who voted to refuse Rangers entry into the SPL (are not insisting) on the club starting again from the bottom of the football league". This ignores the fact that it is the SFL Clubs who will decide if and in what division Rangers are admitted to that League.

It must be clear to all concerned now that the SFA/SPL preferred option of SFL1 is highly unlikely and will not be forced on the SFL Clubs.

Youâ??re the guy that phoned a potential investors boss and asked him to look at why his employee was going to invest in our club as it might effect your professional life.......................rite?

  8. I really wanted Bomber to be the real deal. yet again, we’ve been kicked in the stone.

There are warning signs there with CG, maybe in the following days he’ll give us reason to drop some of the fears we have. As has been said, he’s the man with the keys right now, what can we really do other than keep the pressure on him?

  9. I seen a post on FF claiming it was said on Sportsound last night that if the vote's delayed beyond a certain point that we could retain our place in the SPL by default. Does anyone know it this is actually the case?

There must be a point where this has to happen though. If the vote's delayed today it could take another 2 or 3 weeks to sort out, by which point we're within a 2-3 weeks of the start of the new season. This can't go on indefinitely, and if no vote takes place it gives all the bitter SPL chairmen an out as they wouldn't have voted to keep us in.

John DC Gow just tweeted this

Clyde FC have said the SFA's Stewart Regan left them in "absolutely no doubt whatsoever" he would block newco RFC in SPL.

    So I doubt it :D

  10. Thanks, Frankie, knew it would be something simple

    Doughnut haha

You're actually a good poster on twitter to be fair. You always have something worthwhile to say. That's the last time i'm nice about you BTW :D

  11. I love it personally. After a while you should be able to work out who is who, who to trust etc. I have 6 accounts on there. I use one to only follow the guys i personally feel have something to say, like Frankie, John DC Gow, Chris Graham, the STV lot and so on.

Twitter is down to how you value it, how you function on it and who you trust. it's very easy to avoid idiots, trolls and general shitpigs

  12. I don't want to bad mouth the guy. He might well have good reason for doing his 'braveheart' bit as the man on the receiving end of his outburst put it.

I do think that in his own way bomber believes he's trying to do what's best for the club. I just don't get the impression that he's smart enough to understand what's going on at the club right now, never mind sort it out.

I'd have hoped he was being "advised" by some astute businessmen in the background?

  13. Dont beleive it until it's confirmed by the club, esp as this is comeing from the BBC.

How can we be forced to pay old football debts when we are a new company?

How can the players walk away for free but we still need to pay old football debts? No chance.

The club being Charles Green? The man that's lied, lied and lied again
