  1. Will probably have to. Think I'm gonna have a talk with my dad about going halvers on it but he is tighter than me.
  2. Think they are a bit of a waste of time to be honest. We don't need them to get right behind our team.
  3. I think the minimum price is set far too high. If it was even half of that I think you would see thousands of fans rushing to buy a share in the club. £500 is a lot of money for your average fan on the street - myself included - and in this financial climate its not the kind of money people have just lying especially if many of them have forked out for season tickets.
  4. Would be incredibly stupid if we didn't go back to the top league in Scotland. The club needs to be challenging for top honours and playing in the Champions League - you can't do that in the First Division. That being said when we eventually get to the First Division I don't think the SPL will be there in its current form.
  5. The players do about 3 hours training everyday anyway. It's embarrassing.
  6. Absolutely walk the league, win the Ramsdens Cup and have a good chance of doing well in the other two cup competitions.
  7. Having seen some of the points I think if he can deliver even half of them he will be doing well. The naming rights to Ibrox is absolutely fine with me. At the end of the day everyone will still call it Ibrox anyway in the same way Newcastle fans still call it St James Park rather than the Sports Direct Arena.
  8. Another home draw is the best we could have hoped for.
  9. I would fully support any boycott of an SPL club. They wanted us out of the league to save faces with their own support and wanted their cake and eat by bullying other clubs. Their fans haven't stepped up to the plate this season so they will be desperate for a full away end and I don't think we should give them it. The only problem would be that the Dhims would sell out the San Giro which would severely hamper our young side if we drew them.
  10. I think Bomber has been easily led and manipulated every step of the way. Think his heart was in the right place when Green first came on the scene but he was wrong like many of us were. To go on that show so soon after we banned the BBC though wasn't a wise move.
  11. I remember being on here and many of us were delighted when Whyte was given the chance to name his own administrators rather than HMRC. Seems like a lifetime ago.
  12. Only problem with not entering the SPL is we wouldn't be able to compete in the Champions League which is where the club should be. I can't see it coming to that though. Even if they try and strip our titles we will take the case to either the Court of Session or the CAS and it would be thrown out without hesitation. The charges simply do not stack up.
  13. Yeah we see them for a couple of games at the end of the season and they barely get their chance the following season. Happened constantly under Walter. It was his only fault as manager. I don't have a problem with us signing players who will go straight into the team. My pet hate though is seeing average players coming into bolster the squad and depriving a youngster of his chance.
  14. The difference is the youngsters are getting a chance now. The fact they didn't used to infuriate me e.g playing players out of position when there is a youngster there who would do a better job. I think the crowd at Ibrox now are more willing to give them a chance due to the situation we are in as well. Everyone knows that the kids are the way to go. I'm hoping that this is a watershed moment for the club and even when we are back in the top division we can keep blooding 1 or 2 youngsters a season. It's the only way a club like Rangers will be able to compete at the top level in Europe.
  15. Good to get Edmiston House back in Rangers hands. I'll wait and see with what Murray does in relations to EBT's. He has a moral duty to help us but it remains to be seen if he actually will.
  16. Great news especially with McKay's contract being up at the end of the season.
  17. To be honest I can see this going all the way to the Court of Arbitration For Sport.
  18. Good comments from Charles Green. I'm still amazed the SPL are still going after us in terms of titles. We gained absolutely no on-field advantage by using EBT's which were declared in the club's accounts. I could understand if we had been convicted of something like match-fixing but for a tax scheme is laughable. We must be the only club in the history of football this has happened to.
  19. He's never a central midfielder. So much more effective up front. If we can get the likes of Templeton, McKay, Little etc playing off Jig up front we will have a great season both in the league and the cups.
  20. Good news. We should always be looking to expand our brand particularly in Asia, North America and Australasia. The Rangers story, particularly us climbing the divisions has struck a cord with many people and who knows we may get a few extra foreign Bears and Bearettes backing the team.
  21. I think Paul Dixon is a decent left back and to be honest I'm quite happy we don't have any players in the squad. With a squad as paper thin as ours I don't want to see our players picking up needless injuries playing for another team - especially after the treatment that was dished out to Ian Black.
  22. Let's hope there is a big crowd that night and we absolutely horse them.
  23. Never saw him play either but have got his DVD and some of the skills are just a joy to watch. I wasn't born during the lean years but I'm guessing he must have had chances to move south when we were in the wilderness???
  24. Want him signed up to a three of four year deal. In saying that lets hope McKay has his head screwed on. He's playing at a huge club and getting regular first team football. We have seen too many young Scottish players leave Scotland are never heard from again. Best example of that being Danny Wilson.
  25. After all the ins and outs over the summer I'm hoping that Ally sticks with the team that took to the field yesterday. Thought there was a really good balance about it and the more matches the defence play as a unit the better.
