  1. I would take him back as he's always good for 20 odd goals a season - but what I don't want is him brought in to replace Jelavic. Boyd would be a squad player as best.
  2. Great news about safe standing areas. Having been to watch a few Bundesliga games the atmosphere generated over there is superb. If we can get more fans into the ground; standing with your mates and generating a good atmosphere it can only be a good thing.
  3. Team i'd love to see GK - McGregor RB - McMillan CB - Goian CB - Boganegra LB - Wallace RM - Aluko CM - Davis CM - Edu/McCulloch LM - Bendikson CF - Lafferty CF - Jelavic. We shouldn't be playing 4-5-1 in the SPL against any team!
  4. He's absolutely brutal at the moment and if Ally had any sense he would be dropped for the game against St Mirren. How Jordan McMillan can't get in that team is beyond me.
  5. IMO he wouldn't be the worst signing in the world.
  6. Really hope this is just a rumour. I won't believe it until it's been confirmed
  7. Just wondering if this has anything to do with the upcoming BBC Scotland programme?
  8. Can see Wylde being a big player for club and country if he keeps developing the way he is. His pace and positional play leads me to think he would do well in international football. Would also mean Scotland could play Naismith on the right.
  9. Oh goody. Can't wait for another positive BBC story about Rangers
  10. Doesn't matter if we are fragile Chris - all the teams lie down to Rangers anyway
  11. I'm absolutely delighted that the legend is coming back to Ibrox in a couple of weeks for the St Mirren game. I'll never forget his first goal against Celtic when the San Giro had just been rebuilt, his hat-trick against Aberdeen to win 8IAR or his double against Hearts in the League Cup Final when he had an argument with Ally in the first half. Different class.
  12. The full bill is an absolute joke from start to finish. The Catholic Church has no business getting involved in politics of any kind. Church and state have been separate in Scotland for hundreds of years and we are all the better for it. As for Republican Rose she clearly has not got a clue on what is and is not sectarian. How cane a football fan go to a game and not know what he can and cannot sing? If they are going to clear everything up they need to publish what songs can and cannot be sung. It seems simple enough.
  13. What a complete and utter goon. If that's the standard of MSP the Scottish Parliament has then it's little why I'm a Unionist.
  14. Can't understand why the club would want to be heavy handed with the support who are giving the most backing to the team on a Saturday. With the exception of the Old Firm games Ibrox like a morgue most matchdays. IMO the Blue Order and Union Bears do get some things wrong from time to time but they do more than anyone to improve the matchday atmosphere and every Rangers fan should be backing them to the hilt on this issue.
  15. The one good thing is that already Ally knows what his best 11 and is consistently picking it - Lennon doesn't know his best team 18 months into the job. Ally's signings on the whole have been decent. Goian and Bocanegra look to be forming a very good partnership and Lee Wallace looks good as well. The jury is still out on Ortiz, Bedoya and McKay. We all know what Bartley can do after last season. There appears to be more competition for places than last season. I think the likes of Ness and Perry have enhanced the squad. Young Ness should be a starter every week if he stays clear of injury while Perry has looked good when called upon. I wouldn't have sent Kyle Hutton out on loan as I think he's good enough to part of the squad but he will probably benefit from it as will Kal Naismith who seems to be doing great at Cowdenbeath. We could do with another striker coming in but hopefully when Kane Hemmings comes back from injury he will be pushing Lafferty and Jelavic and I think McMillan is a better back-up to Whittaker than Kirk Broadfoot. Hopefully Ally will learn from the European experience this year and be a bit more shrewd in that arena but so far, so good in the league. Just please don't play Lee McCulloch on a regular basis!
  16. Thought he started off OK on Sat but faded a wee bit before he got taken off. Willing to give him a bit of time to get settled in but he won't be starting many games.
  17. I agree with you mate about his crossing. Would love to see how many assists he has since he's came into the team. Another gripe some of the clowns that sit next to me have is that he can only beat a man through his pace and no trickery?? No wonder I'm thinkin of changing seats. Wylde just needs half a yard to swing in a decent ball.
  18. Just want to get your views on Wylde. I think since he's came into the team has made that left wing position his own and gives us a much better balance. He also gives support to our left back as well whether it be Papac or Lee Wallace and I think that given time he could be a really important player for us. The reason I'm asking this question is that despite him playing well there's been a few guys moaning about him around me at Ibrox usually because of his inconsistent crossing and in the past few games it's been getting worse, which I simply don't understand. I'm sure his crossing can still be worked on but I think he is improving all the time and if he improve his consistency he will either be a regular for a good few years or make us a good few quid when he moves on.
  19. We just need to take it one game at a time and keep piling on the pressure on Celtic. Always better to have the points in the bag. We know that all too well after the 07/08 season.
  20. He's by far the youngster who has the most potential at Ibrox. I just hope we aren't sitting in five years thinking "What if Jamie Ness wasn't so injury prone" He could be a regular for club and country but I'm sure I read that he hasn't played anymore than six consecutive games for the under 19, reserve or the first team and that is worrying.
  21. Could be worse mate you could stay in Stonehouse like my good self!! Did exactly the same with the SNP at the election. Anyway back onto the topic. I fully support the Blue Order and the Union Bears in this statement. As 1 person said earlier stewards can't spot Celtic fans ripping seats out but can spot a bottle of water??
  22. He's dipped in form from last season but I'm sure he will come good. He's still contributing enough in the SPL for us and remains one of our most important players.
  23. Would love a move to the Premiership or the Atlantic League but it's not going to happen anytime soon.
  24. Good point Danny but buying average players to simply supplement the squad i.e the five I mentioned in my previous post is not the way to go either. What i would say though is that I've been impressed with some of the signings that Ally has made. Goian looks like a steal for under a million quid and I've been pleasantly surprised with Lee Wallace. A lot of players who were excellent last season such as Naismith and Jelavic haven't started the season well either, which has got to be factor in our poor start to the season.
