  1. So some insider told them that the Singapore-bid is out of the running too? I'd assume that we will hear quite a few hysterical stories before Wednesday. While I am at it ... and the sooner we are out of admin the better of course ... why the sudden speeding up? Like the deadline for next season - and that should be the main concern here - is days and not months away. Sure the admins do cost the club serious money, but WE want the club in safe hands first and foremost, not those offering "the next best deal" for this or that creditor.
  2. Maybe this should be send to the administrators and the Rangers staff?
  3. While I asume he took the habit up from a movie he played a part in, this is something that will always show the dignity and stature this current manager of Rangers FC carries about himself: At the end of the Old Firm clash (go to 1.40 mins)
  4. Regarding the above ... Out of interest, bar a handful of media assumptions and the odd quotes of the Blue Knights' spokesman, have we actually heard any substantiated news (with quotes) from either Club9 or the Singapore consortium (SC)? ALL we get is hearsay and assumptions, again evident in this article: Who thinks this? Suddenly, all "examine scenarios" with liquidation being a part. While these assumptions is news with reards to the BK's, it is also news about Club9 (who were set to go for liquidation from the off) and, of course, the secretive SC. Again, has anyone actually spoken to the latter? Who told the press somesuch? That is, Club9's prefered option ... an option that makes no business sense at all? Who told them about the value of Club9's bid, info that sure is confidental? "Suddenly", a CVA is still an option for all three, which conflicts a touch with the stance about Club9's plans. The rest is just an info about what would happen should the new owner decdieds to liquidate the club. And remember that we have next to no idea about the SC bid at all. So liquidation is not the most likely outcome according to the administrator, yet all people and not least in the press and on here assume it is? When every businessman with half a brain would see that liquidation is sure not a route that gets any great revenue ... and fame and glory for years to come. Why would one risk that route? A question people - not least in the press - fail to ask time and again!
  5. The Herald has this article ... AGain, we have next to know info about the Singapore people, yet the press "understands" what they are looking for.
  6. I was mildly surprised to read the BBC's report on the game ... and it was rather decent as well.
  7. We hardly even have a name of any people from Singapore, let alone a monetary figure on their bid, but (sports) press people start to "understand" what their plans are? Aye right!
  8. On a sidenote ... while all people see conspiracy here and there and everywhere ... if either of the admins set a foot wrong in this process, they will be charged till kingdom comes. They do not work on their or Whyte's or anyone else's bar the court (of session)'s behalf here. @ A Horse With No Name ... why don't you just whip up a neat "I'm a commie" signature and spare us this constant babble about your political views on a Rangers related board?
  9. Has anyone actually got any clue about the Singapore - bid? Whether they have spoken to the admins directly by now, with Ticketus et al? Despite the continuous mentioning of liquidation, has anyone of those fearing or pointing at it shown any reasonable explanation why such a course would be one that is sensible for any bidder? Given the conesquences for the club and its value - not just on the market - for years to come?
  10. Any chance you switch this argument onto the non-Football / non-Rangers boards of Gersnet?
  11. I'd suggest to get your act together quickly, mate. If I were an admin, you'd be looking from the sin bin for that.
  12. Hodgson already rubbished any links on Friday on SSN. Must have escaped the Sun's rumour-mongers ...
  13. Lengthy article by the RST and on FF about this meeting and Regan's departure. Lawwel's man was and is in no mood to help Rangers FC and I would not be surprised if these two combine and whip up a neat penalty for Rangers or try to rid them of some titles once the takeover deal is finished.
  14. Or maybe I'm one of his alter egos? As with other places, those getting the slap on the wrist or the full force of naughty admin power cry loudest, while the broad mass usually never notices or is satisfied with what is going. Obviously, having up to 1.500 logged on users at any given time does leave room for quite a number of naughty people to be banned or sin-binned. And now back on topic ...
  15. I have been on FF nigh ever since it came into existence. I sure have quite often clashed with people on there and even him occasionally. Not once have I been sin-binned or temporarily banned or whatnot. And I'm sure no laid back customer 24/7/365 ... IMHO, if you stay on a decent enough level of debate, you do have a fair chance of "survival" at FF.
  16. Great. Can we turn our attention back to the matter at hand?
  17. So is this ... Rangers Legends vs AC Milan Glorie
  18. The fan scheme is miles away ... and I see no need to start a board-war by continuously handing Mark Dingwall any "funny" names or titles. As it is, Kennedy should back the Blue Knights (at least for the time being), so his money would be there on the bid as such and Ticketus may also be in that boat. We could fare much worse ...
  19. You would hope that the admins chose the bid/s which does not see us put into the liquidation process. We can't do much more than hoping.
  20. Let me cite the admins: Can someone please clarify how The Herald comes to the conclusion that the Club9 folk have jumped to the head of the queue and what their plans would be? Why the BK's are the only offer that does not want liquidation? Scaremongery at its finest ... and you do wonder why some of the hacks think that all want to liquidate the company (not winding up the club) after they themselves list all the backdraws of somesuch? Why would any bidder want a crippled low-key Rangers FC? To sell them off in four years time on a profit? What planet do these people live on? They could just as easily buy Hibernian or Motherwell today and start to invest straight away!
  21. On a sidenote ... moneymen and all ... only 19 of Italy'S 107 professional clubs have made a profit last year. The 20 Seria A clubs have debts of Euro 2.6bn, an increase of 14% since the last check in 2009/2010. Since then, the attendance figures have dropped by 5%, Seria A's net losses run at 428m. The debts of the Primera Division teams was mentioned at around Euro 1.3bn. Do we hear anything about the Spanish or the Italian press running amok about their grand old teams' apparent problems? Do we hear UEFA looking into these enormous amounts of debt being accumulated?
  22. Lo and behold, the goblin has crept up from under his stone again!
  23. What would bring you to this conclusion? *sarcastic mode off* The amount of mud-slinging since we went into the essentially muted-administration mode (i.e. us hardly being able to defend ourselves publicly) has been tremendous. Anyone taking over should be made aware of this, any supporters' organization worth its name should take note too. I for one would make sure that the prime mudslingers and inquisitors won't see the inside of Ibrox and MP for some time to come.
