  1. 1) They are the voice of the RFFF, not the Rangers fans. 2) You want CVs or the like? Well ... 3) The RFFF has a homepage that lists these people: Walter Smith Ally McCoist Sandy Jardine Jim Hannah Andy McCormick Robert Roddie William Montgomery Mark Dingwall Andrew Smillie Andrew Kerr David McCutcheon John McKee Jim Riddell ... have a look.
  2. He can't and will not accept what is illegal.
  3. Referring to us on the English pages in the Past Tense and come up with new-club stuff. Already "looked after" the German version, who is now in line with reality again. At least for a time.
  4. If they find something, what could they do about it? Charge Whyte for being a fraud specialist? Charge Lawwell and Regan for non-acting? Award Rangers FC comensation for the deeds of the aforementioned and reinstate them into the SPL?
  5. The 11-1 vote is gone now. Soon there will be changes with regards to the split of TV income and all, so some SPL teams may survive a few months longer, and the Scum the same amount less. Integrity in the same sentence as Celtic, you cannot make this up.
  6. What is "Rangers newco"? Either it is Rangers FC's application, or it is not. There is no "Rangers newco".
  7. There are always two sides involved. He could just as easily have waited for us to come clear. If that is the case, he has shown more stamina than some of our Rangers players of last season.
  8. ... according to FF, the only team note voting against us were Kilmarnock. I wonder why Ross County voted against us ...
  9. This is still just one side of the coin. There still is this laughable paper served to Rangers if they want SFA mmbership. Essentially, this mess and that paper should be send to FIFA and UEFA, as both the SFA and the SPL have failed miserably. Of course, we could still sue them and see what happens if the Scum et al are barred from Europe.
  10. For the time being, I want our club playing football somewhere. After that, I'll watch the rest struggle and fall - not with little satisfaction, I have to add.
  11. As I said before, if a club lives above its means and/or quite a few number of people know that, supporters stay away et al, so there's a general state of dispair and decline before administration happens by, there's either a winding up (Third Lanark), or a CVA (Motherwell, I think), no CVA (Leeds), or a newco. In our case though, someone nigh deliberately* send us into this state of oblivion. Not missing supporters, loss of income and whatnot. Not even the EBT case (at that moment and time). So to punish the club that is victim of crime is essentially beyond comprehension (and I for one would ask the SFA for compensation, should Whyte been found guilty of this). Sure, the mere fact that a club has to go into administration hands out penalties. But anything else that comes or came after that is by default utterly ridiculous. Both the SFA and the SPL have let their governing powers slip out of their grasp and are now essentially helpless to regain the reins. How, in this climate, they whip up these membership-demands is bordering on the insanity and shows complete dispair.
  12. I'm not so sure. These people will probably not aspire for wealthy contracts in England (if there are somesuch), but may still see an increase of their previous deals. They will also know that if they come to us in our hour of need, the history books will mark them as legends. And obviously, to some it does indeed matter if they once have played for the Rangers FC too.
  13. This is what I say. If the SFA sends similar stuff to all member clubs, fine. If they only want this from us, it would be the same as Lafferty's Law. You wonder whether some of this is fulfilling the case of coercion.
  14. We have to keep in mind that we may well play at a very different level in the near future. Which is not to say that we have to let our standards drop, but we have to make sure we have the players to succeed at that level for the time being, before aspiring to greater things.
  15. Well, this is Glasgow we speak of, not Guantanamo, right? Is there any precedence for such demands and can they actually be made?
  16. Other Scottish-based freebies: Murray Davidson (ex-St.Joe), Craig Beattie (Hearts), and Farid El Alagui (Falkirk) Edit: El Alagui went to Brentford.
  17. Just out of interest ... if that court chasing Whyte et al for fraud find him guilty and the SFA also guilty of negligence (for they possibly knew about the imposter), will Rangers FC be in a position to ask for compensation? Anyone knows* someone from Anyonymous or wikileaks, someone who can hack and present the data between Celtic and the SFA to the world? *
  18. Green has agreed to pay all football debts? I would assume he has not, since that could mean that HMRC and Ticketus may want their share too. The only way this could possibly be done is by asking all creditors if they agree to this. (I laughed) If anything, we can arrange a friendly game or two with each of the teams needing pay and let tham have a neat amount of gate receipts. I for one would not mind playing St. Etienne, Arsenal, Orebrö or Rapid Vienna. Hearts, well. That said, I was under the impression that the SPL retained some of our price money for last season? Might have been a rumour though.
  19. Snatched from FF (fishpakora):
  20. Methinks Brown settles into the loose cannon - role pretty nicely these days.
  21. Looks like the tribunal's transfer embargo decision revisited. Whip up stuff that are essentially not possible to comply and walk away saying: "we gave you the chance!" IMHO, Rangers should have this checked by their lawyers / QC and strike off what is illegal. They (SFA/SPL/SFL) seem to think that they hold all the aces here, but in truth, if there is no Rangers in or near the SPL, Scottish football will go bust.
  22. IMHO ... it simply shows the rest of Scottish football and - matter of fact - the world how people with dignity behave. Make no mistake here, no-one of us or the current regime or players have anything to apologiize for - which he states. Yet, we say sorry for the trouble our club has caused. That, IMHO, is a gesture of both diginity and stature. And it is something that comes in short supply and is hardly be found beyond Ibrox. That is,what makes us different! (And it will not stop us - the betrayed and hurting - to level it out on those who wished us harm.)
  23. It is all like blaming the ship and its passengers for the wrecking of the Costa Concordia and the bad publicity it brought to the Cruiser Company. And now the retrieving company's captain shall apoplogize to the Cruiser Line too? Yes, that makes sense.
  24. With regards to what?
  25. It will take some time, but it will be over eventually. The Scum will revel in it, the media will whip it up every now and then. If Green & Co. know their business, they will make sure that the club will work more sensibly from now on. At the end of the day, while we may face a season or two struggling on the park (mind you, it is not that the SPL has suddenly made a quality jump upwards), we will most likely have a club with no significant debts. We have a decent enough fan base to keep going, a fan base that can still hurt the rest of the SPL. While we cannot hope to challenge for grand honours next season, we can make sure that the same "justice" that is being handed out to us is levelled at the likes of Aberdeen and Dundee United in due course. Anyway, before we start speculating about what may or may not happen, we can easily wait a few days more and see what will transpire. Then the lamenters can still have their day, or, as might be the case, those who will be relieved by a more positive outcome.
