  1. What will the say when we will be declared victims of a massive fraud? Something outwith the hands of the club and its supporters? Will they show some sympathy and take their insidious claims back? I woudn't want to wager on that.
  2. Just out of interest, how many people have suffered this? The chap the OP mentioned and half a dozen others? Or are we speaking about a few hundred within these 18k?
  3. Exactly. As for the identity of investors ... well, I usually leave the field of conspiracy to others, but just imagine this fair country of Scotland and its current state, and a big or well known businessman who loves us, but would put his company in jeopardy if he openly declares for us. Would he want to be named? Same would apply to an Irish investor, be it from the Republic and or Northern Ireland. Just as food for thought. There are always various reasons why investors or backers are not being named, or do not want to be named. Coming to think of it, that shadowy figure behind the Scum is pretty shadowy indeed as well.
  4. How about going back to the topic? People should finally realise that Green does not OWN us. He's our CEO and does all the things nneded to get the club on track. His job. As GovanAllan pointed out, if investors for one reason or another (maybe some Irish chap) has said strictly that he does not want to be named now (at least not ahead of the first annual meeting, account 7 shareholders report), Green will surely keep that name confidental. As far as I understood it, Zeus Capital "owns" us. Add to that the investors that are there so far, whoever these people may be. So I gather the most important things people want from Green is a) doing his job about getting us into the SFA and a league; as well as b) being more open with regards to the upcoming months and future plans (to an extend you can expect from a company)?
  5. As I said, we are just part of the show. What they are doing is a restructure of the whole system. We, as it seems, where the stone that got the avalanche away. So they may not solely vote on us, but on the whole set of changes. As in: either this or nothing. A clever trick by the brains behind this, if theyy thought along the same lines
  6. Well, I do assume we will nonetheless receive compensation for Fleck or McCabe, youth developement and all.
  7. Which debts though? Methinks the SFA/SPL/SFL cannot ask us to e.g. pay the debts to other clubs via a backdoor. Metinks that would be illegal? What debts there are left is being paid in % by the admins.
  8. So that might be a 25-point penalty and a transfer embargo with no right to appeal. That sounds like integrity to me. And fairness. And ... dictatorship. Right now, I cannot see many clubs saying yes. Then again, it is not solely about us this time, it is about money on the whole. Well well.
  9. From the BBChttp://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18625293
  10. BTW, when asking the above, I ask for thing you would be likely to hear from any club owner/CEO/chairman. We can wish that he lays all his cards on the table, but how many of the afore-mentioned would do that. There should be clarity, more than there is now (even though it is all pretty muddled and beyond his influence), but we havet o stay realistic.
  11. Before people went into unreasonable stuff like selling the club to the next bidder ... We do not know a lot about Green's intentions bar what he has said or what people with good, neutral, or vile intentions say about him. We simply can't take anything of that on face value. What we have is someone who was there willing to bite the bullet, got us to a CVA decision, created a newco so the club comes clean with all the old financial legacy. So far, so good. He now faces a fight to get us back into the SFA, SPL and/or SFL. We can debate the ifs and buts and maybes of TBK, Kennedy or Miller to our hearts' content, the fact is that Green's consortium is now at the helm. He's a businessman and his backers are businessmen. Now, for some reason many on here and out there seem to think that is "devil incarnate". Like all businessmen are just live to make money and strip people/clubs/companies of assets. While I "only" have been introduced to the real world of capitalist machinations after the re-unification of Germany (though we were obviously taught how they work even beyond the Iron Curtain), that is not how capitalism works. I for one fail to see how people assume that Green and his backers can make millions (or even any great profit) from asset stripping or the like. Would they be satisfied with a few hundred thousand pounds here or the odd million there? Risking the potentially life threatening wrath of thousands of people along the way? You see, a football supporter is not your everday factory or company employee. They are in here with heart and soul, ripping the club away is like tearing someone from the family out of life. The response will be accordingly. But enough of somesuch. Right now, our current CEO has to get the club back on track. Any other CEO or owner would have to do the same. Given the support he apparently has from McCoist, Jardine, the RFFF - people who have spoken to him in person, would suggest that these people think that he can deliver. Same goes for Walter and his fellow bidders. Brown yesterday called on people not to renew their season tickets. What insanity drives the man to that? If you deny the club access to money and the upkeep of running costs, we do not need to worry about the SFA, SPL, and Green any longer. So what do we want? I start off saying that Green should speak to the RFFF and the supporters organizations, and pronto. The latter (RST, RangersUnite, whomever) should in conjuncture with the current management set up an account for the season tickets, a ringfenced account, so that the money is solely used for the upkeep of the club. Another account for donations can still run along, for there will be times of need ahead. Green should get into contact with some reasonable people from our legends, explain to them what he and his lot wants to do, let them see the facts and figures and have them relating the necessary assurances to the support. For the latter will not follow a no-name businessman, or, sorry, a no-name chairman either.
  12. As I said somewhere else, people should be wary signing for another team right now, as should other teams be wary signing them. The legal case is not being solved just yet and in some cases we will have a case for compensation (Fleck) anyway, and possibly transfer fees.
  13. When writing "compensation" I was thinking of transfer fees, not the youth developement stuff. That though, would be another matter as well - Fleck springs to mind.
  14. Methinks Rangers TV showed a number of games not on national TV, SKY, ESPN and whatnot live. They sure "taped" most of them and showed them as re-runs later on.
  15. Well, that could be interesting. If Green gets his (our?) way and the players' contracts are actually transferred to the newco, we would be due compensation and a transfer fee. In any case, as long as this is in dispute, any player would be "mad" to sign for a new club, as both he and that club may find themselves in trouble with the authorities.
  16. Did not Rangers TV show all our games at midnight after a matchday anyways?
  17. Once Brown has shown his hand and has a strong bunch of people behind him, money in the bank and possible sources of income, yes, that would be fine. Pedigree and a will to win, clad in words that is sugar in our ears, will not get Rangers forward. You see, it is staggering what happens right now. While Green tries to get this club going again, he gets it in the neck from nigh all angles. And while some may argue that he is not open enough and did not talk to the players et al, the question remains what he should have told them? That he works his socks off to get the newco into the SFA md SPL, and failing the latter into the SFL. All ifs and buts and maybes? I still assume he works his socks off and is probably taken aback by the sheer animosity levelled at him for his openess. Right now, the Brown bid (as well as the Smith bid) did solely caused more harm to the club in its dire straits than it was in before. Do people really believe that Brown will be followed by wave of wave of Bluenose enthusiasm ... people who questioned every single bid that was made before to the core, TBK, Kennedy, Miller et al? And where would that enthusiasm lead Brown? To a club that has no league to play in and no association it is attached too, just because of utterly mindless timing of this bid. But hey, let's squeeze Green out while we can ... and the lifeblood of Rangers FC (not the company, mind you) along the way. AS IF there is not time for taking the club back in a months or two months time!
  18. Exactly what I said forlanssister. Right now, people seem adamant that Green is not even getting a chance to gain some trust.
  19. What's the constant cry about potential bids? "Put up or shut up"? It is always a touch strange that people running about saying this and wanting to get all the information that they deem they must/can have. Well, I hope that some day a bid will be launched when all is set in stone and ready. Not something of potential investors and backers ... acquired along the way ... maybe.
  20. Who does? The media feeds of our demise and tries its best to keep it going. Nothing more, nothing less. The amount of false reports and claims IMHO far exceeds objective, direct and open debate with or about our club. I have always said that a fair amount of scepticism is required with anything that goes on. But that there is no need to see evil and doom in next to everything that is about ... or comes out of the mouth of Green and Co..
  21. Just out of interest, what is he referring to when speaking about "title deeds"? While people will obviously welcome a host of the old guard, without a Kennedy or McColl, any bid will stop in its tracks with running costs to be met et al.
  22. Perhaps people are just making this up as they go along ... an in this time of mass-paranoia and hysteria, every bit of ill-informed journalism finds willing recipients? Just saying.
  23. Well, it just has a) to be true and b) the relevant people actually caring. If it goes on at the same pace as it has been, the witch will be burned to ashes long before any verdict will be there.
  24. Said it before, supporters' polls are essentially meaningless. Much like statements from so-called trusts and supporters organizations. These people are single-minded in the love for their club and those who stand and stood in the way of that club's success. You could equally ask for an impartial vote from mothers on a vote on a death penalty / castration for paedophiles and rapists.
