  1. Nobody put Laudrup on the wing, he was so good he was allowed to do whatever the hell he wanted when he wanted
  2. BILEL MOHSNI has become the eighth new addition to Ally McCoist's squad this summer. The 26-year-old agreed a two year deal this afternoon and will be registered on September 1 when the club's embargo is lifted. The French Tunisian spent time with McCoist's squad in Brora and in Germany this summer and impressed at the heart of the defence. He joins Jon Daly, Nicky Clark, Nicky Law, Steven Smith, Richard Foster, Arnold Peralta and Cammy Bell as new faces in the Light Blues group. Mohsni will not be eligible to feature until September but will continue to train with the squad in the interim. The move sees McCoist secure a fresh face for a position that he has wanted to strengthen all summer. We'll have exclusive reaction from the defender soon on your official club channels.
  3. The name change just looks like a sad attempt to paint over a turd and try to attract sponsorship by using a brand that has actually been successful. The statement from Doncaster reeked of desperation yesterday in terms on sponsorship, even sounds like he had nothing concrete in the offing. Nobody wants to sponsor this shambles of an organisation and I am sure when they do the deal with be utter mince. Although they will spin it to say it is wonderful yadda yadda.
  4. That's the key isn't it. With the stupid transfer ban the team will chop and change a lot until then. Once the side is settled and hopefully everyone playing in their proper positions it will be better.
  5. yes possibly but unfortunately the majority of our team are still from SPL teams who have failed to show consistency for many years. Doesn't mean it won't come but I just wouldn't have any confidence in this team challenging for a title. If we were still in the SPL and we were signing players like Daly, Foster, Black, Smith, Faure, Cibari etc then I can't say I would be happy. I don't know enough about Pandza or Moshni to know how they would operate at a higher level to pass comment.
  6. no i don't, we have an average spl squad at most that would finish well behind celtic imo.
  7. What is happening with Moshni? Has he been signed up yet? I haven't heard anything?
  8. It is a terrible move regardless of whether we need him or not (We Don't). Signing a 33 year old to win the 2nd division is a joke, that fact he would be 35 by the time we got to the SPFL should be a reason to stay away anyway. It is a no from me and not to mention the past few times I did see him play he looked crap.
  9. Surely not http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/rangers-boss-ally-mccoist-targets-2058760
  10. I pre-ordered on the 9th May and amazon have still not shipped it yet. Not overly in a rush for it anyway so will happily bide my time. Says delivery date should be towards the end of this week so will see what happens.
  11. Yeah I fear his time is coming to an end soon, he just does not seem to have it in him to get past this.
  12. never heard of him but here are some details about him from an old bbc article Also apparently had a trial at Celtic last summer.
  13. How nice of them, maybe they finally realised shafting all the wee clubs at the same time was not the way to go.
  14. if he scores 40+ goals for us in the 2nd div next season we'll all be happy. Better target than say Sandaza was.
  15. stick him in the reserves until he has proven he can start simple. we were very short at the back when he played.
  16. It really is sad and pathetic that somebody could let another team affect their lives in such a manner. He is clearly troubled and needs to re-evaluate his life. Seems to have some serious anger issues. Ah well sure that'll be the only time I read his name.
  17. How can a club like Hearts survive with a £24 Million pound debt. The writing is on the wall for that club, matter of time me thinks.
  18. Swindon boss Paolo Di Canio launched into an astonishing rant at keeper Wes Foderingham after hauling him off during his side's 4-1 defeat to Preston on Sunday. The 21-year-old was substituted after just 21 minutes with his side 2-0 down and headed straight for the tunnel. Di Canio's public humiliation of Foderingham comes just a week after he went more than 1,000 minutes without conceding a goal. When asked why he withdrew Foderingham so early, the Town boss said: 'Because he was one of the worst players I have ever seen in a football match. He is a player like the others. 'Why can’t we change the goalkeeper? Is the goalkeeper is an element who plays on with another team because he has a different colour on his shirt? I know my players, I know Wes – he was the crappy player even against Stoke. 'Today what he did, it’s not only the mistake that can happen to everyone. The arrogance later, when he started moaning to the others, that was the worst thing for me because it let me realise that a player doesn’t recognise his mistakes that was clear miles away, that was a rubbish mistake. 'I said to him "now calm because we have to keep going", we give the ball straight away to them and then start again moaning to the others. 'Today he started behaving as the worst professional; arrogant, ignorant in some way – not as a person, as an athlete – I have ever seen. 'If he doesn’t come out and say sorry to the fans, for the professionalism in general, he is out from my team. I don’t want any argument from the fans ‘we play Oxford, we have a season’ - no. 'I don’t mind because this is my rules and [Leigh] Bedwell did very, very well. Maybe he behaved like this because the window’s closed. Another question mark. 'I’m ready to bring in a goalkeeper. I’m ready to ask my chairman if he doesn’t go out and say sorry to everybody because this has to come from the stomach and from the heart. 'If he doesn’t think he made a mistake in the way he behaved he has to think who he is? Cech? 'He was nothing until the day he joined me, not the club but me. He didn’t have one second as a professional, nobody wanted him because he’s 181cm. In English football everybody want 199 like the f***ing Preston goalkeeper. 'He should have his career cut and you know that is true, but just because we believed in him and there is no importance in that because he is very good – thanks to him because he did well last year – he forgot everything. He is arrogant, he’s still 20. He thinks he’s untouchable.' Foderingham was at fault for Preston's opener after five mintues when he failed to cope with a challenge from Stuart Bevon, allowing Akop Sodje to open the scoring. Nicky Wroe added a second before Foderingham was replaced by 18-year-old Bedwell. Beavon made it 3-0 just before the break before Raffaele De Vita pulled a goal back in the 57th minute. John Welsh’s 30-yard effort sealed Preston’s win. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2197436/Paolo-Di-Canio-rants-keeper-Wes-Foderingham.html#ixzz25OKlNqyI This sounds brutal, totally gone to town on this keeper.
  19. if his heart wasn't in it from the beginning then i's probably for the best.
  20. i'm not majorly bother about the mcgowan deal to be honest as long as we get templeton.
  21. Yeah i would agree has to be mcculloch and i would then consider black/wallace after that. I don't believe in goalkeepers being captain so not for me.
