    A great Start from Mr Whyte indeed I just hope that the Club and him continue with this attitude because I can see another season like last happening again with them blaimng everything and everyone on their poor results. They will continue to play the victim card at every opportunity as I think they view this as their best way of escaping the SPL

    I think once the court case is thrown out/If it is Goodwillie will become a Rangers player. McFadden I wouldn't want him at Ibrox don't see the fuss in him.

    Stuart McCall always thought he was class for us but never seemed to get recognition he deserved IMO and Kevin Thomson he done a lot of dirty work for us that barely got noticed by some.

    Exactly mate the all to public showing of interest in players was imo just to allow them to work on deals quietly and out of medias preying eyes I believe we are /were genuinely interested in Goodwillie and Cuellar but I think everyone knows we will have to wait a while on those two for various reasons. I am hoping this Ortiz move is an indication of how things are going behind the scenes.

    Has it been announced Officially that he has signed have heard Clyde 1 say he has but haven't seen it anywhere yet in work just now and teh official site is blocked so can't view it

    wouldn't be surprised if he has mate Was told yesterday he had agreed deal but nothing was confirmed it was just rumours If he has rejected latest offer then it's time to move on IMHO

    McGregor was accused of something similar mate and eventually had no case to answer, I wouldn't sign Goodwillie until all charges in that instance were dropped it would be too big a gamble to sign anyone with that hanging over them. as for the assault charge we have all been there mate caught up in fights at dancings involving mates granted it's a stupid thing for someone with his profile to be doing. Personally I think there is a difference between what Goodwillie is accused of and what Thomson of Hearts has admitted doing. I think Goodwillie would be a good addition to our team he is a quality player, BUT would only sign him after he has been cleared of those charges.

    I think Goodwillie will be a great addition if/when it happens. Just hope that playing for us would be the making of him.

    Cuellar for me closely followed by Bartley I feel we need to enhance our defensive options first SDOW has been a great servant but surely can't be expected to play every week again next season and if Bougherra goes which I think he will I wouldn't be entirely confident going with Broadfoot, Papac or McCulloch as a first choice centre half I think we will land both Goodwillie and Wallace but expect it to be nearer window shutting time as both current clubs chairman will do all they can to hold us up.

    Have heard from a few people Whittaker will walk out with �£15k basic and the rest will be appearance and goal bonuses don't know how much of that is true or not but surely we haven't gave him a basic wage of �£20k + if we have I'd expect to see McGregor, Davis and Jelavic all wanting a fair bit more than that.

    I had heard both charges were to be dropped don't know if there is any truth in that though. I think the statement from Thompson is an act of a desperate man he knows Goodwillie wants to play for Rangers and is trying to get us to make a bid. I think we will get him if/when charges are dropped for considerably less than the �£2m they have stated.

    Personally I'd Like to see him stay with us for remainder of his career However I fear a bid of that scale would be accepted and McGregor told it is in his and clubs best interests to go. as much as I like Alexander I feel more confident with McGregor in goals even though Alexander has never really let us down.

    Wasn't it the record who had headline saying " I'm coming for you Carlos" or something along those lines meant to be from Ally ? I can't help but think this is just them trying to get a response from Mr Whyte or someone at Board Level at Ibrox.

    I don't know if he is Duty Bound to do it, But I feel this is the Record and their journalists attempts at trying to get a reaction from Mr Whyte and a story. Basically they have went from Spending money on Carlos Cuellar to having none in space of a week, proving they are like the rest of us in the dark to what is going on behind the scenes

    Seen plenty of great goals Laudrup v Aberdeen (chipped in over Leighton from practically the byline) Gazza v Steau Albertz free-kick v Tims in 3-1 game

    I agree with this. also If I were Ian Holloway I'd be telling liverpool to treble there �£8m bid for Charlie Adam unrealistic I know but Adam is IMO a better player and more of a goal threat than Henderson.

    I'd like to see SDOW stay on with us in a player/coach capacity however I think the lure of being back with his family might prove too much, If as has been reported he will be told he won't play as much next season is right.

    I think Goodwillie is a good prospect and think he'd be a good foil for Jelavic he just needs to screw the nut if he does move to Ibrox though.

    If we land Goodwillie I'd expect to see him and Jelavic start as the front pairing, It would then be up to Kyle to force his way back into team and only way to do that is to continue form he finished season with. All in all that would only benefit us if we have 3 strikers scoring reguarly, Have to admit up until the business end of last season I was expecting Lafferty to depart this summer as he had been to inconsistent IMO, now I am hoping he stays and kicks on from where he left off.
