At McGregors age I think it is unrealistic to expect him to do that when we don't have european football for 3 years. He is not getting any younger and deserves to move on i personally believe.
McGregor in my opinion is up there with the best keepers in Britain top 3 easily
but I just have a feeling he knows what he has playing for us and won't give up on it to easily or quickly.
You may be right though mate and he may decide time is right to go, I just feel we have more of a chance of him remaining and cementing his status than a few of the others.

McGregor will leave anyway no way we could afford a goalie of his quality in SFL1, I do hope though he transfers over so we can sell him for some money unlike the others.
Why not stay and be loaned out
that way we'd get his wage of the monthly bill and have comfort in knowing he will return when hopefully we return to top flight if we do end up in the SFL1

All of the latest pieces of info point to us being demoted to Divison 1
if that is the case with no other sanctions then we should accept it and return within the year ready to reclaim our crown and I'd still boycott SPL away games when we do return.

Fingers crossed it is the Successful bid
In Walter we trust

Super Ally was my first boyhood hero from supporting Rangers,
the guy is an absolute legend and can go holding his head high he will forever be a Rangers legend
I just wish someone else would step up and become one too, and get us out of this mess we are in.

Signed and will share the link around

the majority of stuff on it was already known, the rest was old news rehashed
only bit of real interest was extent of David Griers involvement in whole process imo

I'm not entirely convinced by Green but for time being will give him the benefit of the doubt.
I Hope he comes in and lives up to his word, However I feel D&P have rejected better people for the job of saving our club in favour of Greens offer
IMO they done this as it was easiest option for them.

I was happy with the simple thank you that Sandy Jardine gave us last night.
Did anyone else get emotional when Jardine was addressing crowd ?
my 6 year old boy was gutting himself laughing at me.
I think it is a nice gesture from the club retiring the number 12 shirt.

Thread on FF speculating that announcement is imminent and that Bill Miller
will be prefered bidder

I'm liking the sound of the Asia Pacific bid more and more as each day passes will be interesting to hear their views on todays developments though.

I voted for Bocanegra have been delighted with the level of performance he has consistently produced, especially considering how many (including Myself) felt it was a strange and pointless signing at the time.
Naismith before his injury looked like he'd run away with every honour going in Scotland here's hoping the wee man returns fit and ready for the new season.

find it hard to fully support any of the 3 bidders without knowing their plans for future
I had hoped Brian Kennedy would have came back in with another bid.

Thanks for info Frankie
all sounds promising hopefully something good comes of this and quickly

I agree but how did we lose 2 goals at the end to 9 men?
When Bocanegra was sent off it took us a few minutes to settle back down and just after that they got a dodgy free-kick and scored from it.
wasn't best pleased with defending for their second goal but they obviously had a lift from their first and we had a bit or organising to do after it
I'd happily have taken a 3-2 win before game and i'm delighted with result.
alot is made of fact they went down to 9 men to much imho
Cast your mind back to League Cup Final against St Mirren we were reduced to 9 men but showed belief and character to go on and get the result.

Brilliant Pics
especially the Super Ally one just shows how much it means to him

They should not be dropping any clients.
Solicitors should examine whether there is any potential conflict of interest before accepting any case, and therefore I'd suggest that Harper McLeod have not done what other firms would have done.
We'll agree to disagree on this mate

If they have Celtic as clients then they should not take the investigation. They can continue to represent the SPL on other issues and Celtic if they so wish, but there is a conflict of interest in this case.
Whether they believe that they will act independently is not relevant. they are not performing the normal duty of lawyers and acting confidentialy for their clients. They are investigating a third party, the impact of which could benefit a client of theirs.
They have a responsibility to give the appearance of impartiality and they have failed on this already.
There are plenty of other lawyer firms that represent neither side of the old firm and they could perform this instead.
My point is though if they had to drop a client to avoid conflict of interest it would be Celtic they dropped SPL is the bigger client
I am not saying this is an ideal situation because it isnt, but my own take on events is Harper MacLeod have only done what any firm would act on the instructions of their clients

I don't see that as being relevant.
My point is mate they have SPL as clients and have done for a number of years they were going to obviuos choice to represent them if this goes the distance.
If imo it came down to who they'd rather represent if there was a conflict of interests they'd choose the SPL as they are the bigger client
Harper MacLeod will be nothing other than professional in this, people are making to much of them having Celtic as clients,
They represent Barry Ferguson and several other Rangers stars from the past as well.

It's wrong that solicitors who act on behalf of Celtic are asked to perform an independent review of Rangers, which could end up having a beneficial impact on their clients. They should consider it a conflict of interest and recuse themselves.
Lawyers need to have an appearance of independence as well as their own belief of independence.
They represent the SPL as well

Harper MacLeod have been SPLs lawyers for a number of years aswell
I don't think they would act in anyway other than professional should it go the distance.

The Blue Knights bid is being done for all the right reasons as far as I can see yet it still doesnt fill me with confidence I can't see them being long term answer or being able to take us forward in way we'd like
Out of the known Bidders just now Brian Kennedy seems like best option at moment
In an Ideal world a Jim McColl type bid would come in and take us forward

Don't care when it comes but Promotion is a must this season.
A few new additions to squad and i think we'll be fine for this season and next provided everyone stays fit and at club
