  1. Most of the criticism at Boyd was the lack of goals in big games and the fact he needed to have a strike partner that did all the work. I would rather have him than Daly though because he might still be of some use in a couple years when we are back in the SPFL.

He was rarely played in big games such as Celtic and in Europe mainly due to Walter playing one up front, which Boyd couldn't do.

He has also said Miller was his best strike partner and again because he done most of the work and Boyd scored most of the goals. It's a team game and everyone has a different role. If he was an all round player he wouldn't have stayed at Rangers for very long and he would've played in more big games, but he isn't and he didn't but he was one hell of a goal scorer!!!!

  2. He's obviously done great with Cardiff and they have one hell of an arsehole in charge but they are struggling in the Premiership big style but IMO they would've went down with MacKay in charge. I don't see him getting a top job anytime soon, he is another just like Owen Coyle IMO, does fine until he gets to the highest level. Lower premiership or championship is his level, I just don't see him as a top class manager!

  3. Boyd is what he always has been which is a goal scorer/poacher, especially if the team play to his strengths, i.e. give him the ball around or near the goal :)

He's never had pace, he's never been a worker, in his last SKY and most other interviews he openly admits that and we can all see that. He is a bloody good goal scorer simple as that, he still doesn't get the recognition from some Rangers fans after the amount of goals he scored for us during his time here which is shocking IMO. I wish we had someone like him playing for us now.

  4. The guy is shite and will never amount to anything. No idea why we signed him. Everyone was jizzing themselves because he got the better of Whittaker a few times, the same Whittaker that doesn't make the Norwich bench and is absolutely useless.

I would hate to see your thoughts on players with less skill than Templeton :)

He was a very good player with Hearts IMO, but with lots of injuries and a bit inconsistent but to say shite and useless says more about you here!

He does seem to take one more touch than he should a lot but when it comes off he is better than most at what he does. I will give him more time as he is one of our more skilful players and hopefully getting dropped makes him more determined to succeed with us. Only time will tell but I think he will come good for us.

  5. Thought we played well actually, could and should have scored 6+ easily. The whole team looked up for it, played well and done well not to react to some dirty tackles from Airdrie.

Of course it could've been better but 12 out of 12 isnae bad even in this league.

  6. My wife met another mother after my son was born and started going to mother and toddlers groups. My boy Sam made friends with a few kids, but one he was close to more than others so they all used to meet up now and again at play areas etc. The boys dad who I met a few times was diagnosed with this disease when his son was 3. He only lased a couple years before he sadly passed away, and I think the last year he was confined to a wheelchair and needed all round care. It's a horrible disease for anyone to have but it must be heart breaking accepting that you can't be a normal parent to your child, do normal things with them and you probably won't see them grow up.

The survival rate is not great but some can live up to 10 years or longer. I would love to see a special game for him as I was big fan when he played for us.

I wish him and his family all the best.

  7. It would be great, although a bit unfair on Raith, if it was Ibrox, but I'm sure Raith would rather have more cash from a full stadium if it was a big venue than have a Ramsdens cup win in a smaller stadium!

This should have been sorted before the cup started such as IF we got through it would be the piggery, Ibrox or Murryfield, such as the support we would have wanting to go. IF we didn't get there it would be Easter Road or somewhere of a similar size stadium, even then it wouldn't be a sell out.

  8. Good statement from the club. There really is no excuse for coming out with these kind of statements!

There is nothing but contempt and bitterness from virtually all the media here, and how some of these guys actually get jobs in the media is beyond belief as they are bloody awful reporters.

it's good to see our club hitting back, we've lay down for far too long....
