  1. It's a great deal for him and us money wise if he leaves but if he's happy here and doesn't want to move then the club should not be trying to force him to IMO, I find it shocking for a club like us to be doing so. He has arguably been our best player this season and for a full back gives us more attacking options and takes the pressure off the defence with his runs that usually he gets a foul for or ends up a goal/good chance. I hope he stays but like the very strong rumours we are trying to get the money and get rid of him. SDM is not the favourite chairman about and if this move goes through will do him a lot of harm if that's possible. I can't see us getting all of the money either to spend if it does go through and what other cover will we have for RB? I won't be happy if our club has forced one of our best players out.
  2. IMO he's no better than what we have at present, another big lazy bugger, surely the fans won't take to him....
  3. maybe Walter is thinking of playing 4-4-2 free flowing football in the near future m8
  4. I like this guy but as usual he might take a while to settle so the fans would get on his back right away if he did start slowly. It's a lot of money for us just now and to make someone the highest earner who hasn't set the world on fire is a strange one for me, but that's probably what it's gonna take to get players coming from the EPL.
  5. We will certainly miss him, especially against the tims, I just hope as Frankie says we get to spend the majority of the money we get for him, but as I don't trust SDM I have my doubts..........
  6. good keeper and could put serious pressure on AM.........
  7. McCoist said it was a lot of crap on the radio, just paper talk, but we are talking to dundee utd about their keeper....
  8. we're never going to agree and he's not worth all these posts IMO so no more buffel talk from me, hopefully he will be going soon to anyone who wants him :moon:
  9. motherwell game is off - waterlogged pitch ....
  10. He has been given too many chances IMO get rid I say. Look at his games he has played where he wants/likes and see what he has done, virtually nothing. If you come back and show me otherwise he's not good enough for me. I replied saying take a look at the players similar who never had much agression, I said like Laudrup but there's plenty of other examples like Cooper, Wilkins, De Boer etc, they done more than buffel could ever dream of doing in a Rangers jersey and are all legends. I certainly don't think buffel for one would have helped us win trophies in the last 2 years, what a joke....... WATP
  11. fair enough but the ratio of 'good' games peter done well in still well outweighs the number of 'good' games buffel has ever played played for us...there's that many I can think of 2 for buffel that's it..... I think peter was a wrong example to use here, even tho many never liked him or he was another non trier sometimes he done OK and won us some important games much more so than buffel.....i mean how long has buffel been here for gods sake also the number of games thing might just be down to buffel not being suited to scottish football, the manager seeing he gave little or maybe him just being the most inconsistent player ever... he had injuries yes but so did peter......... just my opinion on things m8
  12. buffel has played in virtually the same team/s as Peter and done much much less than him, so I don't see why he should be given any more chances IMO m8. It's all abour opinions and we need better much better than him for a creative midfielder as he's called......
  13. you just mentioned aggression m8 and that's all the fans in this country like to see, Laudrup never had any agression and was adored so I don't see your point either There are many many players who didn't have agression but were brilliant for us IMO......... Buffel has been so inconsistent in his time here I wouldn't give him another minute in a Rangers jersey. We all know he has skill which frustrates me even more.....we are top of the league without him so he's not needed IMO.
  14. he probably thinks he's too big for the scotland no1 job
  15. I hope this is not true http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/7208584.stm
  16. I don't dislike him but it's his inconsistency that gets to me, 5 or 10 mins showing up in games in not good enough for me is it for you ? If he done what he can for most of the game, every game he'll do for me, but he's never done in it the past and I can't see him doing it now. Brian Laudrup never had much aggession and if I remember correctly I think he was well liked here
  17. only problem is with buffel that when the going gets tough he gets weaker IMO. the likes of fergie don't hide and get stuck in even when they're having a shocker but I have never ever seen buffel do that in a Rangers jersey and sadly probably never will, he has got a lot skill of course he has but to say he could be the difference between winning the league when we've done so well so far without him doesn't wash with me sorry.
  18. we can hope Blackburn will appeal
  19. get sebooooooooooo back.....only kidding I think it's better for all concerned he stays away, doubt we will get much back for him if he leaves permanently either
  20. thats your opinion m8 but given a chance and playing with better players than they usually do theres no reason they can't progress into better players and good ones for us IMO.....
  21. ask their old managers whom have said plenty of times they do and would take them back in a heartbeat m8
  22. no worries m8 the more the merrier, looking forward to my first RST dinner
