  1. OK m8, mind it only ES we're playing, if he has a bad game (which I hope he doesn't) then he can sit himself.
  2. excellent, maybe Frankie can have a word with Buffel and see is he wants to sit at our table as well
  3. If AM and GS got injured then we'd be in trouble, need a 3rd keeper IMO.

not for me, not any better than what we have just now....
  5. there are loads of his 'quotes' in papers and online and none of them match he sure does talk pish and stir things up.........
  6. Rangers striker Daniel Cousin has set his heart on a move to Fulham, according to his agent. As revealed by skysports.com on Monday Fulham tabled a bid for Cousin as they look to bolster their attacking options. Rangers are believed to have rejected Fulham's first bid for the Gabon international as they look to keep hold of the forward. Cousin's agent Willie McKay says the player is keen on a move to Craven Cottage and hopes a deal can be agreed between both clubs. "Daniel wants to go and it's now up to the two clubs to decide if a fee can be agreed," McKay told the Daily Express "Walter Smith wants to keep the player but he can leave anyway if a club bids £3million."
  7. have to agree with this, first touch is not great and he's even worse sometimes for keeping the ball too long IMO...
  8. be my first one and I'm looking forward to it immensely
  9. I'm happy to pay to watch Rangers yes and always will be like many others ...you are not also like many others. I don't think I'm being shat on or I wouldn't go watch. This is not all Rangers fault IMO, what chance do you have playing good football all/most of the time that our fans want/demand when all most of the other clubs want to do is shut you out and keep you from playing good football or break your legs? We do/done it in Europe and get slagged of. I do think however some of our players are not good enough and we need better quality but we can't attract the best players in the world/europe or even the UK now as our league is not a high profile one with most clubs having little or no money and no one wants to invest in them as you don't make money investing in football clubs do you. Look at Aberdeen last week they can't even come close to championship clubs for wages and never will again. We also won't improve our football playing the teams in the SPL IMO. Rangers and Celtic can get bigger 'stars' but not many will come and play in the SPL to play the likes of Gretna, ICT etc when they can play the likes of Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal on a regular basis playing for average clubs in the EPL and who most if not all can dwarf even the old firms wages. Even the Champions league every year won't sway players for snubbing us to join the likes of Portsmouth etc so what chance do we have? Of course I would love to see fast flowing fantastic football but if I did I'd move to a different country and watch another team but I won't This season is about winning the league no matter how we win in IMO. Compared to last season it's a bloody big step forward to say the least and if it means playing ugly most of it then I will settle for that just now. Hopefully in the future once we are back on top we get in only players who will improve the first 11 and not any more squad players as I think we have enough along with the young guys coming through who need to get some action to improve.
  10. not great today no, the gretna game was ok IMO, we made plenty of chances just never took them and started to panic a bit, wouldn't call it brutal tho. the 3 or 4 games before the gretna game were the best all season and that I have enjoyed for a while, good football to watch IMO. teams like inverness and gretna don't really let other teams play good football and why should they they are playing to their strengths and it stops the flow of playing good football, we have or should have players to deal with this but sometimes it doesn't happen, you can't play good all season long and in crap weather no matter how good you are. 3 points while not playing well is a must and we have done that in the last 2 games.. If you don't like it fans don't have to pay just like yourself. I think you are a bit harsh but that's just my opinion m8.
  11. every signing is a risk IMO, cahill is quality but is very injury prone.
  12. I can see your point m8 but WS obviously liked them as players m8 and thought they would do well for him or thought they were better than what was there. Why take a chance on someone you don't know enough about, i.e. different cultures etc when you know some people/characters inside out i.e. gough, sometimes they pay off, a lot of the times they don't but that's the gamble I suppose. it never done him much good down there saying that
  13. The only problem is for me is that he is not any better IMO to the fringe players we have farless the first team players. I know we want to do our best in Europe and the league but IMO yonger players esspecially won't get any experience if they don't play in these games and I would rather see a young player getting his chance than an 'older' player just coming in. But if it cost us the league that's a different story but IMO we have better cover than Dailly even after letting Ugo go.
  14. These fans probably don't have their own views and are perhaps jumping on the 'bandwagon' like so many do when something sticks to a player and he starts getting targetted for abuse from some sections or media etc. There have been players in the past I wasn't keen on but if they scored it's all for the good of Rangers is it not and I always celebrated. I don't understand some fans or people doing this and wonder why they actually go to the games. To say what they done is childish is an understatement.
  15. Dailly has already turned down a move back to Scotland for family reasons (Scottish Sun). Hopefully there is a god after all...........
  16. totally agree there, there is also Papac who is a centre half...... waste of money IMO if he comes in, here's hoping he won't....
  17. wonder what he'll say if Dailly did sign for us then, certainly no better than what we have at present.........
  18. yes was there, i think confusing as in if you've not been before unless you ask it's not easy to find yer stand!!!
  19. Rangers are in talks with West Ham to take Christian Dailly on loan for the rest of the season (BBC Scotland, 1545). :admin:
  20. anything official ?? Only 2 places have mentioned this , radio snyde and and evening times, none have any quotes from rangers, WS or dailly, just another rumour I hope anyway.
  21. Sheffield United boss Bryan Robson confirms he "just needs one last discussion" with Rangers over signing Ugo Ehiogu, but the signs are "looking favourable" (BBC Radio Sheffield, 1445).
