  1. i agree, we had a few players who had off nights and still won and if we had taken our chances would've walked it easy but had to work hard in the end but got what we deserved.
  2. goes from bad to worse if that's true, again until it happens I don't believe it, surely this is not the level we've stooped too???
  3. so many rumours and talk flying about it's hard to believe most of it IMO.......until it's official I don't believe much of it or any of it.........
  4. Fergie was great the whole game for me, chased defenders as usual when cousin just stood there watching, he got in some great positions, played some great balls through and scored a great goal and could've/should've had more. Naismith was next best for me as he gave the usual 100%, takes on defenders and should've had at least one penalty, burke was great in the first half but done nothing at all in the second, novo should've been on for him early on in the second half IMO. Dr Deuchar gave Weir some game and Weir hardly won a header all night, Whittaker didn't have the best of games for me also, I thought Papac had a decent game though. I was in the stand shouting for cousin to get subbed when he scored and he did play OK to give him some credit and scored the winning goal, good finish, but again should've had more. JCD gave us a bit more when he came on as well, maybe trying too hard as he was shooting from anywhere when he had better options on but I'm not slagging the guy as he done OK. If we took out chances and we had quite a few clear cut ones IMO it could've been a heavy defeat but the Rangers way is never like that is it, harem scarem at the back sometimes and some nail biting stuff at the end but we grounded out the result we needed to go 4 points clear. Overall a well deserved win IMO unlike some reports I've been reading this morning. WATP
  5. pity you can't buy a new heart for the guy as well
  6. that was putting it politely m8  if he stays and proves me wrong then I will give him a big round of applause
  7. get buffel to fcuk :moon: and for souter ffs :admin:
  8. with papac and whittaker for cover i'm sure he will wait. it would be like a new player if he comes back but might take him a wee bit to get back to the level he was at which was fantastic IMO, it took Hutton a while to get going after his injury.
  9. good player but bit inconsistent for me, I would take him as he would give us more attacking options but not for what Everton are quoting that's for sure. £4M tops.
  10. RANGERS are to open talks with transport bosses over plans to build a new railway station at Ibrox. Thousands of fans could travel to games by train for the first time in more than 40 years under proposals to recreate the stop at Broomloan Road. Club chairman Sir David Murray is considering three options to redevelop Ibrox, which will see the ground's capacity rise by 8000 or 20,000 seats. The most ambitious masterplan, reportedly worth £700million to the area, would see a new 70,000 seater arena built beside a hotel, conference centre, homes and shops. With the Subway operating at capacity and regular tailbacks on Paisley Road West and the Clyde tunnel on match days, any traffic impact study is likely to recommend a new rail station. The Evening Times can reveal officials from the club will meet representatives from Strathclyde Partnership for Transport next month to discuss the project. Alistair Watson, chairman of SPT, said: "We hope Rangers will look at what has been achieved with stations at the new Wembley and Arsenal's stadium. "We are looking forward to constructive discussions with the club. "There are two lines running from Glasgow to Paisley and a third is being added for the airport rail link. That could easily accommodate a new station but it won't be cheap." The original train station at Ibrox was shut in 1965 and Glasgow Housing Association flats earmarked for demolition now occupy the site at the top of Broomloan Road. David Fletcher, head of regeneration at GHA, said it wanted to "work in partnership with the communities and agencies involved" at regeneration projects across the city. A spokesman for The Rangers Supporters' Trust, which has campaigned for the rail link to be restored, said: "We would urge the club's board, community leaders and politicians to support a rail link to the city centre and airport, and a railway station for Ibrox." Councillor John Flanagan, who represents Govan, said he would be concerned "about any proposal to redevelop Ibrox stadium that didn't include provision for a train station at the top of Broomloan Road." A spokeswoman for Rangers FC declined to comment at this stage. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/display.var.1962511.0.0.php

    di canio

and yet all the scum fans still love him...........they are a lovely bunch :admin:
  12. I hope this is true Maybe Hughes is leaving Blackburn with a 'present' before he leaves for newcastle !!!
  13. i just think it would be ludicrous to sell our top scorer and our most prolific striker we have, plain stupid IMO. his lifestyle should have nothing to do with it, can't he go out for a few pints if he wants? it's not as if he's a nutter like Joey Barton, never seen him on the front pages yet so it's not a problem to me, he needs a run in the team like everyone else. the likes of buffel are the players who we should be getting rid off not boyd.
  14. sell him then his past form when he has started regularly and was scoring regularly in a crap team doesn't count
  15. so there you go it's all the likes of boyds fault we've won he haw, c'mon ffs m8 he can't win it himself and he has done no bad doing his job which is what scoring goals is it not he can't play in goals, defend and set up himself at the same time  you are again rating buffel on a few good performances, boyd has had far more good performaces ratio wise than buffel for rangers IMO. you said yourself you've hardly seen him play and you rate him on that, a bit silly again IMO for anyone to do that. surely the fans who have seen him every game he has played are the ones who know what he's really like!!! sebo had proved he's not that good, he's got a good run of games in france and done nothing. i've seen most of his games he's played in and he's not improved one bit, runs about daft and his touch is worse than boyds and doesn't score many goals which is a big problem for a striker IMO. it's all about opinions and one we obviously won't ever agree on
  16. yes but that's no saying much m8, he's not a speed merchant put it that .....
  17. very average players in the premiership probably earn over £1M a year easy. aberdeens best players will proably treble their wages or more going to average championship sides. if carroll was on £15k a month then he was probably signed to maybe be number one but AM has played that well he couldn't get a chance......he was a free transfer so no big fee which is why he got offered or we could afford more wages, he is not that old for a goalie and has a good cv IMO so well worth it as anything could've happen to AM and carroll is better than smith IMO.
  18. he was good cover to have, it wasn't his fault he never got much of a chance more down to AM playing very well for most of the season so far. if AM had got injured and we never had decent back up i'm sure WS etc would have got it tight but there you go.
  19. I'm sorry m8 but Buffel is not the fastest player I've ever seen you sure it's same player
  20. it's all about opinions as usual and I don't agree with yours on this as you will know by now m8  say the same with the likes of Buffel, if he went down south he wouldn't be heard off far less seen but that's only my opinion  If we sell our most natural goalscorer we've had for years who do we get in to replace him as we don't have anyone else who can do that IMO and how much to we pay, it's all a big gamble IMO in a very important season, get it wrong and it could cost us the league, time to play boyd more I say.
  21. that's obviously your opinion m8 fine, but not everyone's. darren bent went for £16.5M and he is not worth that IMO, he was to the team who paid that for him, they are worth what the team wants to pay surely and what the team he plays for want to accept. like hutton was worth £8M in spurs and rangers eyes.
  22. I think RC is a very good back up keeper and it's only the good form of AM keeping him out, I would be happy with him or AM in goals. If he was to go then I think GS would be a decent back up but I've not seen him play that much to be honest and don't know how good he really is.
  23. If players like Darren Bent are worth £16.5M then he is worth a lot more than £3M IMO
  24. I hope it's not true also but if WS doesn't start playing him regularly then I say let the boy go as it's not doing anyone any favours IMO. I think he is better than a squad player but like most players he needs to be playing regularly to get the best out of him.
