  1. Shiels in for Hutton for me. Don't know what to do with Jig, but Ally will play him no matter what. We should play 4-5-1 as CB suggests. I've put Crawford and Smith in there. Our biggest problem is that we are allowing ourselves to be closed down by being pedantic and predictable. And we are losing 50/50 balls at an alarming rate. Arbroath didn't park the Easdale at all yesterday, and yet were very unlucky not to beat us. Coisty will need the pre match and half time talk of his life about what it means to be a Ranger. :rf::jig: :ap::ss:
  2. There's nothing wrong with criticising the Board, nor providing opinion against them or verifiable evidence of what they're doing wrong. We should never be intimidated. Name-calling and cheap shots, however, isn't the way to go. Nor are unfounded allegations,so be careful what you post.
  3. He appears to be a bombscare, but he's got away with it so far. I enjoy watching him.
  4. Whatever happened to the "Abducted by Aliens" or "My Husband has Five Arms" rags? At least we never needed to read them. The redtops seem to have abducted that audience. You know - the Lions vs Christians one.
  5. Bit of contradiction from Barry there. On one hand he's talking about the benefits of youth development, them he's talking about the benefits of buying then selling on.
  6. There are certain things that the media should treat with sensitivity, and this area is one. However, they don't. They just can't wait to put their grubby little spin on whatever. Whether it be this story, or stories about missing children, national tragedies etc. How do they sleep?
  7. Hope things work out for the lad. I do despise the media when they sensationalise stuff like this too. Why can they just never say it as it is. On a positive note, Asa Hartford had a hole in the heart, and had a fairly successful career. However, we're not consultants (and neither are the media.)
  8. Good to see we're still the number one draw in Scotland.
  9. In which case the Police will be well prepared. It's all about the Rangers
  10. Now, following on from my conspiracy post (#476213) asking who the real power behind the Board is, what if a Green or an Ahmed just got wind of this and got on the blower and told Easdale to back down. Yorkshire men don't mess around when it's about brass.
  11. I've had my private thoughts along the same lines for some time now. I don't think anyone on the Board represents the real power behind Rangers. I think they're all front figures and I'm not too sure that Green and Ahmed ever left the building metaphorically. And we all know who Laxey's man is. I'm just not sure where the Easdales fit in, and for that matter I wonder if Whyte ever left the building either. Maybe it's all paranoia but I don't think Wallace even decides what he has for lunch in Ibrox.
  12. Moshni's more than a flair player. He's a one man entertainment centre.
  13. It's a tad like the argument for extra-terrestrial life. However, I'm beyond the statistical argument. You'll be pleased to know I'm convinced something's out there, and I'm keeping my eyes open.
  14. Well, with such magnetism around, I won't need to be bother getting stage fright. The camera won't be near me.
  15. I find it breathtaking that the CEO doesn't mention the fans, their misgivings and their expectations, when it is all too apparent to the rest of Scotland. Has he missed the displays or chants? I would have that that he could have given credence to this and mouthed some form of platitude. Nah - I'm not too sure they give a monkey's about us.
  16. It's not what they did, it's how they did it. IMO Irvine and McMurdo are in dire need of a moral compass. They are adrift in a sea of depravity.
  17. If I recall correctly it was listed on VS before, and a Google search brings this up: http://www.visitscotland.com/info/see-do/ibrox-stadium-p559321 Maybe it's just the internal search engine that's been doctored. The page listing football stadiums certainly has been.
  18. Regarding EH, it's perhaps a white elephant, but the wifi should certainly be capable of earning money. I just hope that someone in the background hasn't done a nice wee 20 year deal.
  19. What a peculiar thing to say. What on earth does that mean?
  20. There's no reason why we can't have a Custodian Trust, with the sole purpose of safeguarding major assets like Ibrox, Auchenhowie etc for future generations. I'm thinking of something totally divorced from the politics with one sole purpose.
  21. If anyone is writing to VS you may as well write to your local MSP at the same time. Looking at this, it's not an oversight. It's mischief making in a public office. There should be no place for warped football allegiances particularly within Visit Scotland. Shocking.
  22. It's one of the fundamental unwritten laws of New Capitalism. Keep the masses in debt. Never let them feel free and wealthy. That's how to keep control. And let's face it, the Board is all about control. They're not about Rangers.
