Robbed? Why Rangers could have been the first Champions League winners
bluebear54 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Que sera, sera. To moan about it sounds like "always cheated never defeated" behaviour from them. We're too good for that. -
It's a statement really GS. Whoever did it is good at their job.

More like 1-5. Anyone would be mad to bet on us being unbeaten.
-
Been a problem for me for a long time trying to hide it. Number of times I've ended up on visits to friends and everyone else is having fun and I'm in the gubbins of a PC.

Looked at the title and wondered what on earth it was. Thought it was no Gleneagles etc for next season.

Poll for Time of Year for the Next Gersnet Dinner
bluebear54 replied to BrahimHemdani's topic in Rangers Chat
All these marriages - we're dropping like flies. Important to get the ground rules set at the off. This time is Gersnet time, this money is set aside for going to see Rangers, etc etc. Joking aside, warm and hearty congratulations to Juancornetto and SuperCooper. -
Welcome to all the newbies - and the old newbies, bluerod. I'm around the same age as you and BH. On the subject of IT, I agree with BH. I recently built a computer from scratch that dual boots Mac OSX and Windows 7 - not bad for a 61 year old. Good to see SBS has got a scouting system off the ground

Always said that we should be catering to all potential customers. So, it would be easy enough to stock quality stuff too, and perhaps have top quality suppliers/designers instead of T-shirts and Polos that you could spit through. Subtle designer lines if you like. The one problem is that the price wouldn't be much different. Abysmal quality for £30 or quality for £40. Problem is the quality is the last factor they will think of. Order cheap from an Indian sweat shop - sell expensive to the mugs that want to buy it.

David Somers buys 35,000 shares + Easdale buys more shares
bluebear54 replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Is he not positioning himself for a new share issue - shareholders only? -
Difficult case for the judge. A case of which bullshitter am I to believe.

It was sarcasm, rbr. He doesn't come over as the sharpest tool in the box, nor does he instil confidence when he speaks. Edit: Zappa said it. Phew.

Somers will tie Ahmad's QC in knots.

Over the season, Wallace for me. Although Black has been a consistently important player for us all season, Wallace squeezes it.

Great news. The lad is a talent.

As I said on another thread, it's all about timing. It's no quirk of fate this coincided with the statement tomorrow.
-
Back to the thread, it was interesting to see the quote from Goughy that DK had a Plan A,B and C. I don't think that's bravado, and I think there will be some interesting times ahead.

Tomorrow's statement about the setting up of the Trust announced. New poster sets up account. Ruffles feathers. Frankie steps in. The rest's history so they say. It's all about timing.

Does that mean I can stop ignoring him?

The sooner we (and the management) see that presently we are nowhere near being favourites, the sooner something might be done to change that.

OK, Forlan. I'm swayed by your point. One small thing though is that McCulloch isn't - and never has been - a centre back for a modern game.

For some, Crawford, no matter how hard they try to conceal the fact, their intelligence still manages to seep through. Also much the same for those who have agendas.

He's a model pro. Obviously he doesn't have a long shelf life, but there's a point that he may be able to contribute with training. He's got a wealth of experience.

Agreed. I've said this a couple of times recently. We had better be prepared and be more than a match for them. Good on them that they've done this with youth. In one year.

Far being a 3 monkeys type of behaviour, I find that I can follow some threads better by ignoring some posts.

The First Annual Gersnet Dinner (The Bears Picnic)
bluebear54 replied to BrahimHemdani's topic in Rangers Chat
Agreed that the tapas were top drawer. I'm sure we will have a poll whenever something's organised. Amo is a great idea.
