  1. I wasn't impressed with him today. Faded out of the game and made too many selfish choices. Don't think he's Rangers quality.
  2. Just had a look on the main site and can't see the statement anywhere. Has it been taken off?
  3. Agreed. This will go the last day of the season - and the mighty Rangers will triumph by winning their two remaining games. A triumph, I may add, of good over evil.
  4. Aye - keep your friends close and your enemas closer!
  5. Good article. Whyte certainly makes all the right noises for me. Reading between the lines, quite a few changes on the way and sounds like Bain, McIntyre, King and Murray might not be around much longer. If there is a new professionalism brought to the Club then great - it's been long overdue. Will be interesting to see how we deal with the PR side of things. Fascinating times ahead.
  6. A game of football lasts 90 minutes. Usually the more committed and talented team wins. Lennon's team were dire on Wednesday. ICT were up for it. The better team won on the night. Lennon's lot are undoubtedly the more talented, but they they weren't at the races against ICT. It suits me if he believes his own crap. It means he's not addressing the real reason for his team's defeat. Can't wait for his excuse when they drop points against Hertz on Wednesday. Long live squeaky bums!
  7. Didn't have a Club tie on though! Still great result to watch. I hope he's the real deal and he brings in the right people. Hopefully a new super-era begins.
  8. True, but bet your ass he's had one helluva bad day at the office what with the takeover and the election!
  9. Pretty sure it's more or less lifted from a thread on FF quite a while back. Lazy journalism. How the Telegraph has fallen. I'd love to ask the journalist for their sources - or don't editors do that anymore?
  10. Apologies for being uninformed, but what and who are the "Takeover Panel" referred to in para 5? Otherwise a strange statement. however it strikes me that the IBC talking about transparency has much the same ring as Gaddaffi talking about democracy. my take is that they certainly haven't covered themselves in glory these past few years, and more pertinently recently. I have a feeling that we'll be seeing some restructuring of the board at some stage. I don't really want to get worried about this statement anymore - after six months I'm enjoying the moment and looking forward to winning the league.
  11. Very dignified words and optimistic. Nice touch when he pays attention to the fans. This may very well be the real deal. Also quite correct to mention SDM. It's all been said a thousand times about SDM, but we did have some good moments. Not recently, but if we go back far enough - some good moments. Let's hope for three in a row and a bright rosy future. A Happy Bear.
  12. If we look at things rationally, and cast our mind back over the past few years, I think we can safely say that anything will be better than what we had. Time to think of the future now and help the new owner/owners maximise our revenue streams and rebuild our proud name. A new era awaits with new challenges, new opportunities and new successes.
  13. We've been here so many times. It all seems unreal. Or is that the hangover - had a wee Super Caley party last night. Let's hope today's the day. Tenterhooks Loyal.
  14. Cheshire cat me! Will be writing some letters about the singing tonight.
  15. Heard the repertoire too. Time to play them at their own game. UEFA, SFA, SPL, Northern Constabulary, Scottish Government AND UK Government because of the terrorist element Let's get writing - and keep writing. Mud sticks - as we well know.
  16. Aah! The lad's a true Bear! Be nice when he signs.
  17. Just one last comment - and I'm very comforatble that it won't reach many before polling day. There was an extremely readable article in the Scotsman yesterday about how the SNP have "triangulated" their campaign. Basically snatching a fundamental bit of policy from each party in order to be seen to stand above the humdrum of political bickering. Apparently, the first campaign to employ this strategy was Uncle Bill Clinton's first. When we reflect on it's benefits for Clinton's sex-life and for nationwide cigar sales, this is probably not a bad thing. It got him laid and it got him in office. A crucial point however is that - unlike the tooth fairy - a lot of what Bill Clinton promised wasn't carried through. Here in Scotland, the SNP have come out and stated that they will address sectarianism and bigotry in the footballing environment. Fair enough. If we care to read the Labour manifesto, they say exactly the same, and so do the also rans. On this issue however, and come Friday, I would feel more comfortable with a Government which will address the wishes of a broad consensus rather than one which is guaranteed to pander to the whims of John Reid and all his cronies from the Glasgow/Labour/Catholic mafiosa. Is that sectarian? No - I don't think so. The thought of Labour becoming our new overall masters gets me a wee bit scared - for myself, my financial stability, my family, for the Rangers and for the non-catholic community in Scotland. Factum. So, to sum up - I hope I don't see Scotland being run by a gaggle of incompetent nepotists.
  18. Think he's the guy with the helmet on ....
  19. Mustn't mock the afflicted ......
  20. Brilliant Frankie. Never laughed so much since the LC final!
  21. Classic. They really do a good line in self-flagellation.. Quo vadis, Lenny? When "your" club turfs you out - which they will - after the chaos you've caused up here, who's going to want you now?
  22. Shame, eh? LOL. KDS will be somethinghaving tonight. Just finished having a private Sash Bash - brilliant! We have a few who have done the "tears when it's all over routine" but, honestly, the yahoos take the biscuit. Now it's down to three games and three wins. Nothing more, nothing less.
  23. Sorry Craig - I'm new on the block here. Didn't know where to post the thread when the second went in .....
