  1. Yes - ya beauty. If Carlsberg made Wednesdays ........ Rangers tie to work in the morning. When they complain I'll say it's an Inverness Caley one! Game on - it's in our hands. A team for Europe and a team for Scotland. Just as well they didn't buy a team for the Highlands. Thanks for that one Terry!
  2. Ha-ha - pan left to Sellik faifull hand on heads, praying greeting etc.
  3. Hem, sorry. 61 gone. 3-1 Think this is the night!
  4. Sorry for starting a thread but couldn't see one. 56 minutes gone and it's Caley 2 Bimbos 1 As they say - Yahoo ........
  5. This thing just gets worse. Talk about airing your dirty linen in public! An EGM is the platform to do this - not a ceespit of a football chat show. The yahoos will be rubbing their hands.
  6. I think the whole Paul Murray plan reeks of desperation and is not a sound economic one for The Rangers. Would you want us run by desperate men?
  7. I wonder - worse case scenario is a few years of stability, player and infrastructure investment then big problems. The stadium isn't worth money per se as it's listed - I don't think it can be redeveloped and think it's use must remain. Auchenhowie worries me. As does a mass clear out of players and administration. In that nightmare scenario, we have the only real asset left - which is the fan base. If the Club ever goes into administration it could be bought for one year's season ticket subscriptions. But yes - I worry about CW and Ellis in particular. However, the Paul Murray plan worries me more.
  8. Not for the first time in this long saga, my head hurts. No matter what happens however, the fact remains that we - the support, have been treated pretty shabbily. I understand that there are rules that prevent CW making statements, but I'm also peeved at PM's lack of clarity - he's basically offering to underwrite a share issue to invest in the short term with no meaningful medium term plan whatsoever. On top of this, we will still have the LBG debt to deal with and presumably the same board. So, it's basically cough up, we'll keep the status quo and let's see where the wind blows. On the other side of the coin, we have a solid bid from CW but don't know any details. One positive is that - in football terms, he's not promising a great deal. Pay off the debt and you have £10m the first year, with £5m for each of the following four years. But we don't know where the money's coming from. As far as I'm aware we don't know who's underwriting the share issue either - and how. As I say - my head hurts.
  9. My feeling is that it's been a good season - considering all the off-field problems we've had. We've got some real prospects coming through now, which is encouraging, and this has been the season when Naisy has finally shown his talent. Regarding the league, I haven't given up hope yet, but it's in their hands, and we can't do anything about that now.
  10. Agreed. He's Algerian POTW, and I'm sure his agent will be punting him for more.
  11. I know what you mean about the pack mentality. Also feel that there are too many yahoos on that board, and a lot of the threads end up as silly arguments. I posted on FF for quite a few years, and only recently looked in on Gesnet for some takeover news. I liked what I saw, signed up, and enjoy logging on here. The rest, as they say, is history.
  12. I totally agree. This would grow legs down south if Weir or the Club were punished.
  13. The deal will happen IMO - David Murray and Lloyds will push it through. If half of what's been written is true, I see the first step for CW being radically changing the Board.
  14. If anyone is any doubt about the level of attention that will be paid to the Club in future, this latest farce should make it abundantly clear. Regarding the shirt, I think it would be a great idea to get it signed and auction it for a deserving charity - like Erskine or Save the Children. Regarding the future, I would like to see us saying no thanks to away ticket allocations for the rest of the year. Just to give Scottish football something to think about.
  15. And these are the same jolly chappies who think it's fine to constantly refer to us as Huns on their websites? Not a bit of a moral dilemma there? No?
  16. Tell me, is this a windup? Congratulations on your marriage - and it's sectarian? The loonies have truly taken over the funny farm! Time for HRH to put a word in for us!
  17. Thought I was close too ..... If only Naisy hadn't scored his second....
  18. Get yourself a Rangers Club tie! http://soprano-ties-px.rtrk.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=WS2317 You'll be guaranteed lots of admiring looks and first class service!
  19. Thanks for the article. We need to get our house in order, and we need to regain a righteous sense of pride. We also need to get the media on board - or at least put ourselves in a position where those attacking us have very little to attack. But most of all, we need to get smart - not the Club - but us, the fans - and we need to seriously and systematically neutralise those who are attempting to undermine us.
  20. I like your style! We won't lose a goal - I'm going for 0-4. Still want a goal for Davie Weir before the season is out. The others will come from Jelavic (2) and Lafferty.
  21. I'm not comfortable with a passive "hands up we're guilty as sin" approach on this. I think it's a good idea to engage with UEFA and make inroads into appeasing them in the short term and being seen to be proactively getting our house in order in the long term. However, all these issues are not going to disappear. There is a campaign against us and it needs to be countered effectively in the same way it is being waged.
  22. Well, to start with, anything about the white man in the frock, the "f" word, or the "c" word. Think you're alright about Irish terrorists, unless you refer to the "c" or "f" words, which gets me quite confused too. PS: on a positive note, I think they also see the "h" word as naughty too - wouldn't bet on it, but that still leaves 23 letters to knock back before Christmas. Unless Christmas is going to be offensive too.
  23. Probably right. Can you not change your IP to an Irish one?
  24. Steady ....... That comes tomorrow!
